5.1 Sleep
mode menu
Sleep mode menu reads:
“Sleep Mode2: Start”
should read:
“SleepMode2: SetType”
Press the [Enter] key and select the cleaning type from:
“Cleaning Type: Short”
“Cleaning Type: Normal”
“Cleaning Type: Long”
Press the [Enter] key to set the selection.
To start the Sleep mode, select “SleepMode3: Start” and press the
[Enter] key.

Adj. Print menu
Changed the micro adjustment values printed on the PF pattern.
Prints the following PF pattern (micro adjustment) with a focus
on the micro adjustment value.

4.2.7 Media feed compensation
* Revised the step 7, 8 and 9
7. Performs Micro adjustment print.
a. Display the Media feed compensation menu on the operation panel in the same way as in step 1.
b. Press the [+] key or [–] key on the operation panel to select "PF4:Micro Print".
c. Press the [Enter] key on the operation panel.
・"Printing" is displayed on the operation panel.
・Starts Micro adjustment printing.
・In the pattern, look for a place that has least white lines or overlapping in images. The number printed below
the adequate pattern is the micro change value.
・After the micro adjustment printing is completed, “Micro Change: 0.00%”is displayed on Operation panel.
8. Sets up Micro Adjustment Change.
a) Press the [+] key or [–] key and enter the micro adjustment value according to the printing result in Step 7.
b) Press the [Enter] key on Operation panel.
・The micro adjustment value is saved. (The saved micro change value will be always shifted to the base value
for the pattern printing.)
・“PF4: Micro Print”is displayed on Operation panel.
・The adjustment of media feed compensation value is complete.
4.4.7 Normal Display while Printing
* Revised the step 4
3. Press [-] key on the operation panel to display [Remain Time].
・Time required to complete printing the job will be displayed.

4. Press [-] key on the operation panel to display [Roll Remain].
・The remaining length of roll media will be displayed.
The remaining roll media is displayed when the 5.1.11 Roll Length menu is set to other than OFF.
5. To return the display to [Printing], press [-] key on the operation panel.
5.3 Setup menu
* Added “Start Feed menu”
5.3.19 Start Feed Menu
In the Start Feed menu, you can change the margin setting between images.
Setup Item Setting Description
Start Feed -10 mm to <0 mm> to 500mm ・Value over 0: The margin setting between
images will be wider than when setting "0".
・Value equal to 0: The default margin setting
between images will be applied.
・Value below 0: The margin setting between
images will be smaller than when setting "0".
―・[Enter] key: saves the setting and shifts to the
previous menu.
・[Cancel] key: cancels the setting and shifts to the
previous menu.

・ With take-up system: if you want to set "Start Feed" to below 0, set "Page Gap" to "Narrow". If not, the Start
Feed setting is not reflected properly.

When "Output Mode" is set to "Take up", the menu is shifted to "Page Gap".
In the Page Gap menu, you can change the margin setting between images.

images is smaller than Normal.

5.9.6 Alert Buzzer menu
Selects how to turn off the printer beep sound when an error occurs.
For unattended printing, you can select Off setting to avoid continuous buzzer beep.
Setup Item Setting Description
Alert Buzzer ＜On＞Press any key on Operation panel to turn off
beep sound.
This is initially setting.
Off After several beeps, the printer automatically
turns off beep sound.
―・[Enter] key: saves the setting and shifts to the
next menu.
・[Cancel] key: cancels the setting and shifts to
the previous menu.

6.6 Disposal of waste fluid

3. Open the waste fluid valve, and transfer the waste fluid to the container.
When transferring the waste fluid to the empty container, the waste fluid may spatter.
Make sure to put the container close to the waste fluid valve.
