WICHTIGE SICHHEITSHINWEISE INBETRIEBNAHME
BATTERIEEINBAU
Schieben Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs
in die Richtung, die in Abb. 1 gezeigt wird.
Setzen Sie vier 1,5 V Batterien Größe AA
oder UM3 mit richtiger Polarität ein, wie dies
im Inneren des Fachs markiert ist.

ÖFFNEN DES BRIEFUMSCHLAGS
Bringen Sie den Inhalt des Umschlags auf
die Seite, die nicht geöffnet wird.
Fügen Sie das gewünschte Öffnungsende
des Umschlags entlang der Führung ein und
schieben es wie dies in Abb. 2 gezeigt wird.
Das Gerät arbeitet automatisch und der Um-
schlag wird abgeschnitten und geöffnet.
Stecken Sie den Umschlag nie auf halbem
Weg in die Führung, da das Gerät ansonsten
nicht arbeiten wird.

VORSICHT
Schneiden Sie kein dickes Papier, Karton,
Stoff, Metall usw., da dies zu Problemen
führen oder sogar die Messer beschädigen
kann.
-
Stecken Sie nicht die Finger in das Schnei-
deteil. Es ist gefährlich, das Gehäuse zu
öffnen und den Me
chanismus zu be-
rühren.
Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt
wird oder wenn die Batterien bereits ver-
braucht sind, entfernen Sie diese um ein Aus-
laufen der Batterien zu verhindern.
Verwenden Sie keine Lösungsmittel wie Al-
kohol, Benzin oder Verdünnungsmittel zum
Entfernen von Schmutz, da diese die Ge-
häuseoberfläche beschädigen könnten. Wir
empfehlen ausschließlich die Reinigung mit
einem feuchten Lappen.

HOW TO USE
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Slide the lid of battery compartment in direc-
tion shown in Fig. 1.
Insert four 1.5V AA size or UM3 batteries
in correct polarities as illustrated inside the
compartment.

Dispose of the machine in an envi-
ronmentally sound fashion at the
end of its usefull service life. Do not
dispose of any of the parts included
in the machine or its packing with
household trash.

TO OPEN AN ENVELOPE
Move the contents of envelope to the side of
not-opening.
Insert the desired opening end of envelope
alongside the guide and slide as per picture
shown in Fig. 2.
Machine will work automatically and the en-
velope will be cut and opened.
Never insert from halfway of envelope to the
guide, otherwise machine will not operate.

CAUTIONS
Do not cut thick paper, cardboard, cloth, met-
als, etc. which will cause a machine trouble or
even injure the cutters.

Do not put your finger into the cut-
ter part. It is dangerous to open the
case and touch the mechanism.
When the set is not used for a long period or
the batteries already used-up, remove batter-
ies to avoid damage from battery leakage.
Do not use solvents such as alcohol, ben-
zene or thinner to remove dirt, as they may
mar the finish of the case. It is advised to use
wet damp cloth only.

RECOMMANDATIONS IMPOR-
TANTES DE SÉCURITÉ
INITATION
UTILISATION MONTAGE DES PILES
Glisser le couvercle du compartiment pour pi-
les en direction montrée dans la figure 1.
Insérer 4 piles AA de 1,5 V ou des piles sè-
ches UM3 selon les polarités indiquées dans
le compartiment.

POUR OUVRIR DES ENVELOPPES
Déplacer le contenu de l‘enveloppe vers le
côté restant fermé.
Insérer le côté à ouvrir de l‘enveloppe le long
du guide et la faire passer comme le montre
la figure 2.
L‘appareil coupe et ouvre l‘enveloppe auto-
matiquement.
Ne jamais insérer l‘enveloppe à mi-chemin,
car alors l‘appareil ne fonctionnera pas.

ATTENTION
Ne pas couper du papier épais, du carton,
des vêtements, du métal etc. Ceci provoque-
rait des dérangements, voire même l‘endom-
magement des couteaux.
-
Ne pas mettre le doigt dans la
partie coupante. Il est dangereux
d‘ouvrir le boîtier et de toucher le
mécanisme de coupe.
Si l‘appareil ne doit pas être utilisé pendant
une période prolongée ou si les piles sont
presque usées, sortir les piles afin d‘éviter
l‘endommagement par des fuites.
Ne pas utiliser des solvants tel que de l‘alcool,
du benzène ou du diluant pour éliminer de la
crasse, car ils risquent d‘attaquer la surface
du boîtier. N‘utiliser qu‘un torchon humide.

COMO PONER LAS PILAS
Deslizar la tapa del compartimento de las
pilas en la dirección como se muestra en
la Fig. 1. Insertar cuatro pilas de 1,5 V AA ó
UM3 poniendo los polos correctamente como
ilustrado dentro del compartimento.
PARA ABRIR UN SOBRE
Mover el contenido del sobre hacia el lado
que no se va abrir.
Insertar el extremo del lado por abrir del so-
bre a lo largo de la guía y deslizar como se
muestra en la Fig. 2.
La máquina trabaja automáticamente y el so-
bre se cortará y abrirá.
No insertar nunca el sobre por el centro en
la guía, porque la máquina no se pondrá en
funcionamiento.

PRECAUCIONES
No cortar papel grueso, cartones, ropa, ni
metales etc. ya que causarán problemas en
el abrecartas o incluso dañaran las cuchillas.
-
No meter los dedos entre las cu-
chillas. Es peligroso abrir la caja
y tocar el mecanismo.
De no usar el abrecartas por mucho tiempo
o si las pilas están gastadas, quitar las pilas
a fin de evitar daños causados por derrames
de las pilas.
No use disolventes tales como alcohol, ben-
ceno o diluyentes para quitar la suciedad ya
que podría dañar el acabado de la caja. Se
recomienda usar sólo un trapo húmedo.

MESSA IN FUNZIONE
INSTALLAZIONE DELLA BATTERIA
Spingere il coperchio del vano batteria nella
direzione indicata nella Fig. 1.
Inserire quattro batterie da 1,5V, formato AA
o UM3, rispettando le polarità indicate all’in-
terno del vano.

DATI TECNICI
LARGHEZZA DI TAGLIO: 2,5 MM
Alimentazione di tensione: 4 batterie a secco da 1,5 Volt, formato AA o UM3.
Consigliamo di utilizzare batterie alcaline.
Potenza assorbita: in caso di utilizzo di batterie alcaline, circa 3000 cicli di apertura.
(Le prestazioni oscillano in base al tipo di buste da lettera utilizzate e
alle diverse qualità di batterie.)
APERTURA DELLA BUSTA DA LETTERE
Portare il contenuto della busta sul lato che
non si desidera aprire.
Inserire l’estremità desiderata dell’apertura
della busta lungo la guida e spingerla come
illustrato in Fig. 2.
La macchina si avvia automaticamente, ta-
gliando e aprendo la busta.
Nell’inserimento della busta nella guida non
fermarsi a metà del percorso, perché in tal
caso la macchina non si avvia.

ATTENZIONE
Non tagliare carta spessa, cartone, tessuti,
metalli, ecc., perché in tal caso potrebbero
verificarsi dei problemi o addirittura la lama
potrebbe danneggiarsi.
-
Non inserire le dita nell’area di ta-
glio. È pericoloso aprire l’alloggia-
mento e toccare il meccanismo.
Se la macchina non deve essere utilizzata
per lungo tempo o se le batterie sono esau-
ste, rimuovere queste ultime per evitare la
fuoriuscita del liquido al loro interno.
Per la rimozione dello sporco non utilizzare
solventi quali alcol, benzina o diluenti, poi-
ché questi possono danneggiare la superfi-
cie dell’alloggiamento. Suggeriamo di pulire
esclusivamente con un panno umido.

UPOZORNĚNÍ
UVEDENÍ DO PROVOZU
ZPŮSOB POUŽITÍ VLOŽENÍ BATERIÍ
Sejměte kryt z přihrádky pro baterie ve
směru, jak je zobrazeno na obr. 1.
Do přihrádky vložte čtyři baterie 1,5 V ve-
likost AA nebo baterie UM3 řádně podle
značek pólů zobrazených uvnitř zásobníku.

OTVÍRÁNÍ OBÁLEK
Sklepněte obsah obálky ke té straně, kterou
nebudete otvírat.
Pak vložte konec obálky, který chcete otevřít,
do otvoru v přístroji a obálku zasuňte podle
vyobrazení na obr. 2 do přístroje.
Přístroj pracuje automaticky, odřízne okraj
obálky a otevře ji tak. Otevíranou obálku nes-
míte zasunout do přístroje pouze částečně,
protože jinak přístroj nebude fungovat.

BEZPEČNOSTNÍ POKYNY
Nepokoušejte se na přístroji řezat silné
papíry, kartón, látky, kovové spony apod.
Došlo by tak k poškození přístroje nebo i ke
zranění obsluhy.
-
Nevkládejte prsty do řezacího
mechanismu. Je nebezpečné ot-
vírat skříňku přístroje a sahat na
řezací mechanismus.

Pokud se přístroj po delší dobu nepoužívá
nebo pokud jsou vybité baterie, bate-
rie vyjměte, aby jejich netěsnost přístroj
nepoškodila.
K odstraňování nečistot nepoužívejte
rozpouštědla jako alkohol, benzin nebo
ředidlo, protože by takové přípravky mohly
zničit povrchovou úpravu skříňky přístroje.
Doporučuje se použít navlhčenou utěrku.
