Quick Setup Guide
After opening the box, check to make sure you have all your items. If any items are missing, please contact your
seller as soon as possible.

Connect Power and HDMI
Place your ATV495Max on a flat surface near the TV. Make sure there is a visible line of site for your
remote control’s power button to operate.
*Only connect your ethernet cord if you are not using WiFi.

1.0 First Time Usage
1.1 Powering Up
After first powering up your device,
you will see a couple of loading
screens first. Follow the instructions
on the next screen to start using your
device.

1.2 Pair Bluetooth remote
controller
1.3 Setup Wizard - System Language
After boot up, you will need to
pair the Bluetooth remote
controller.
Please follow the on screen
instructions to pair the remote
controller.
For first time usage, you will
enter the setup wizard. The setup
wizard will help you quickly
setup the ATV495Max for you to
use. First you should select a
system language.

1.4 Setup Wizard - Setup with
an Android phone or tablet
You can easily setup ATV495Max
if you have an Android phone or
tablet, or you can select No to
continue the setup.

1.5 Setup Wizard - Wi-Fi Setup
Here you can connect ATV495Max
to your home Wi-Fi router. If your
home Wi-Fi router requires a
password, you will need to enter
the correct password.

1.6 Setup Wizard - Check for updates
After connected to the network,
ATV495Max will connect to the
internet and check to see if there
is an update available. If an update is
available, ATV495Max will
prompt you to update.
1.7 Setup Wizard – Google account
Here you will be asked to login to
your Google account, you can
use your phone or enter your
email address & password to
login.

1.8 Setup Wizard -Terms of Service
To continue, you will need to
agree to the Google Terms of
Service and Privacy Policy. You
can view the terms of service and
privacy policy by clicking below.

1.9 Setup Wizard – Share Location
You can select Yes or No to let
Google and third party apps to
use your location or not.
1.10 Setup Wizard – Help improve
Android TV
You can select Yes or No to allow
Google to collect usage data
from your ATV495Max.

2.0 Settings
Using the directional buttons on the
remote, you can navigate different
options, the options selected will be
highlighted and confirmed by
pressing OK key. Same operation
for text input if needed.
Select the Settings icon at the
bottom of the screen then press
OK button to enter settings
interface.
1.11 Home Screen
Once setup is completed, you
will see the home screen and
you can start using the ATV495Max.

2.1 Network - Wi-Fi
2.1.1 Once you select the Network
option, the device will automatically
scan for available WiFi networks if the
WiFi option is turned on.
2.1.2 Connect to an available WiFi
network. If you are connecting to a
secure network, you will need to
enter your WiFi password.
2.1.3 Once connected to your
network, the device will automatically
connect to this network each time it
starts up. -
2.2 Network - Ethernet
Connect your ATV495Max to your
router Via an RJ45 ethernet cable.
If you have previously used a WiFi
connection, you may need to disable
the WiFi before connecting the
ethernet cord.
Note: If factory reset, the password of Wi-Fi network have to be reset.

2.3 Sound
2.4 Display
2.3.1 System sounds
Turn on or off system sounds.
2.3.2 Surround sound
You can setup Surround sound
to auto, on or off.
2.4.1 Screen resolution
You can select different screen
resolutions here. By default, the
resolution is set to automatically switch
to the best configuration for your TV.
If you are having issues with your
resolution, you can try different settings
here. If you are seeing too much or not
enough of your screen, this will likely
be related to your scaling level’s and
not your resolution.
2.4.2 Screen position
This is where you change the scaling of
your TV screen. Some TV’s have different
scaling requirements. Zooming in or out
will help the device fit better on your
screen.
2.4.3 HDR to SDR
By default, this is set to “Auto”. You can change this on or off.
2.4.4 SDR to HDR
By default, this is set to off.

2.5 Apps
Here is a list of all the apps that are
installed on the device.
You can also change App
permissions here.
You can choose an application
and force to shut down the app,
Disable the app, uninstall the
app, clear user data and clear
cache data.
2.6 Storage & Rest
Here is the information showing the
storage space on the internal memory
and any connected devices. You can
also do a factory reset here.
2.6.1 Factory data reset
This will erase all data from your
ATV495Max’s internal storage,
including:
• Your Google account
• System and app data and settings
• Downloaded apps
• Music\Photos
• Other user data
You can reset all the settings and apps to factory default.
Note: Once you choose to reset to factory default, all data/apps will be deleted.

2.7 Date & Time
By default ATV495Max will
automatically get date and time
from the internet.
You can also manually setup the date
and time, as well as the time zone
You can also select to use 24-hour
format time display or not.
2.8 Language
You can change the system
language here.
3.0 Apps Install & Uninstall
On ATV495MAX, you can install apps from Google Play.
You also can manage apps on ATV495MAX, install/uninstall apps, stop running apps, or select other
options.
