This machine has been manufactured in the EC under the most stringent manufacturing and qua ity standards.
These Operating Instructions contain a the necessary information re ated to the operation and maintenance of the
machine. Read these Operating Instructions carefu y before you start using the machine or carrying out any
maintenance activities. You wi find that this machine wi more than fu fi your needs. You wi get the best resu ts

Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
Do not eave vacuum c eaner
unattended when p ugged in. Turn off
the switch and unp ug the e ectrica cord
when not in use and before servicing.
Do not a ow to be used as a toy.

Use only as described in this manua .
Use on y manufacturer’s
recommended attachments.
Do not use with damaged cord or p ug.
If vacuum c eaner is not working as it
shou d, has been dropped damaged, eft
outdoors, or dropped into water, return it
to a service center before using.
Do not pu or carry by cord, use cord as
a hand e, c ose a door on cord, or pu a
cord around sharp edges or corners.
Do not run vacuum c eaner over cord.
Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not use extension cords or out ets
with inadequate current carrying
capacity.
Turn off a contro s before unp ugging.
Do not hand e p ug or vacuum c eaner
with wet hands.
Do not put any objects into openings.
Do not use with any opening b ocked,
keep free of dust, int, hair, and anything
that may reduce airf ow.
This vacuum c eaner creates suction.
Keep hair, oose c othing, fingers, and a
parts of body away from openings.
Do not pick up anything that is burning
or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches
or hot ashes. Do not use without dust
bag in p ace. Use extra care when
c eaning on stairs. Do not use to pick up
f ammab e or combustib e iquids such
as gaso ine, or use in areas where they
may be present.
Store your c eaner indoors in a coo , dry area.
Do not unp ug by pu ing on cord.

This app iance must be grounded. If it shou d
ma function or breakdown, grounding provides a path of
east resistance for e ectric current to reduce the risk of
shock. This app iance is equipped with a cord having an
equipment-grounding conductor and grounding p ug.
The p ug must be inserted into an appropriate out et
that is proper y insta ed and grounded in accordance
with a oca codes and ordinances.
WARNING - Improper connection of the equipment-
grounding conductor can resu t in a risk of e ectric
shock. Check with a qua ified e ectrician or service
person if you are in doubt as to whether the out et is
proper y grounded. Do not modify the p ug provided
with the app iance - if wi not fit the out et, have a
proper out et insta ed by a qua ified e ectrician.
Note: In Canada, the use of a temporary adapter is not
permitted by the Canadian E ectrica Code.

Operation
When a the too ing of the vacuum c eaner is
insta ed, the connect the power cord to a wa
out et.
On the disp ay the green power supp y indicator
(1) wi ight up. If this does not happen, check
the power cord or change the main power cord.
By turning on the main switch A, the vacuum
motors are activated with a time de ay.
The brush wi operate by pushing hand e B.
The brush sensor system wi indicate the status
of the brush pressure on the disp ay. (2)

The machine has a unique motor contro system
to he p you as an operator and to he p services
and repairs.

1. Power Supp y Indicator
2. Infra-red port with a specia termina to read
information. Number of hours in operation.
Number of times activated. Number of times
overheated because of b ockages. Reset or
reprogram the zones green, ye ow and red.
