Instant wireless networking with NetComm’s NP290W HomePlug
HomePlugs transform your in-house power circuit into an Instant Ethernet
Network without the need to install new cables or drill holes through walls
and floors.
With the NP290W Turbo Wireless Homeplug you can connect any wireless
enabled device to your HomePlug “network”, including PCs, laptops, gaming
consoles, IP Cameras and ADSL Modem/Routers. In fact anything that has
Wireless capabilities.
With a data carrier rate of up to 85Mbps using the ethernet port and up to
54Mbps using the wireless connection and a range of 200 metres, HomePlugs
are the ideal way to extend your network access to any room or any floor in
your home or office. HomePlugs are also secure, using DES encryption to keep
your data secure from eavesdroppers.
No more worries about wireless blackspots, no more hassle of having to
stream lengths of ethernet cable. NetComm HomePlugs are networking,
without the work.

Connect one HomePlug adaptor to an ADSL or
Cable Modem using the supplied Ethernet cable.
2Plug the HomePlug adaptor into a power socket. Plug the
wireless adaptor into a power socket where you want to
extend your wireless coverage.
3Finally, you can connect the NP290W to the
Ethernet port of your PC or gaming console
to access your network wirelessly.

infrastructure and a Wireless LAN connection. It’s ideal for anyone to extend their wireless signal
coverage for Internet access or to create an internal network. Surf the Internet and share data at
up to 54Mbps in any indoor or outdoor environment. The NP290W also comes with 56 bit DES
encryption security available if required.
