Fast Ethernet Switch with Gigabit Port

Hang on – your network will soar when it’s hooked up to NETGEAR’s FS309T! This
powerful switch connects at 1 Gbps over Category 5 cables and makes it easy to link
as many as eight computers or peripherals to your server or network backbone. You’ll
experience wire-speed performance for maximum throughput. Eight switched 10/100
Mbps ports deliver 200 Mbps data transfer in full-duplex mode, while Auto Uplink™
on all nine ports automatically adjusts for straight-through or crossover cables. The
FS309T’s compact desktop case has LED indicators on the front for easy monitoring,
and includes a locking slot for security. Installation into your office network couldn’t
be simpler and, once powered on, it begins operating–cool and silent without an
internal fan.
Copper Gigabit uplink connects your server or switch at 1 Gbps over Category 5 UTP
cables for up to 300 feet (2 Gbps in full-duplex).
Tabletop design that is ideal for small office users with Plug and Play installation, rear ports
that reduce cable clutter, and front status LEDs for easy monitoring.
All nine ports deliver automatic speed and duplex sensing, plus Auto Uplink,
™which adjusts
for straight-through or crossover cables to make the right link.
Sturdy, metal desktop case stacks neatly with most NETGEAR routers and features
a locking slot to prevent theft. And the FS309T runs cool without a fan so it's quiet.
