Yourbackhoeisdesignedandmadetomovedig,trench,movematerial(s)andlevel,althoughwithinsomephysical
limits.Theworkingspeedandperformancemaydependonanumberofvariousparameters,suchasweatherand
terrainconditions.Thoughthemachineisdesignedtoperformsatisfactoryinmostmaterialsandconditions,there
maybeanumberofcombinationsofaboveparameters,forwhichthereisseveredegradationofperformanceofthe
machine.Ifyounoticedegradationofperformance,contactyourNEWHOLLANDdealerforassistance.Hemay
haveusefulinformationforimprovements,orakitmaybeavailabletoenhancetheperformance.
•Donotusethemachineforanotherpurposethanintendedbythemanufacturerandoutlinedinthismanual.
•Donotusethemachinebeyonditslimitsofterraingradientandstabilityasoutlinedfurtherinthismanual.Using
themachinebeyondtheselimitsmayresultinroll-overortip-over.Observetherecommendationsinthismanual.
•Useonlyapprovedaccessoriesandattachmentsthataredesignedforyourmachine.Consultyourdealeron
changes,additionsormodicationsthatmayberequiredforyourmachine.Donotmakeanyunauthorizedmodi-

•Donotusethemachineonbrittlebridgeheadsandpoorbridgeoors.Theseconstructionsmaycollapseand
causeroll-overofthemachine.Alwayscheckouttheconditionandcarryingcapacityofbridgesandrampspriorto
engage.
•Donotusethemachinewithoutwearingtheseatrestraintsystemduringactivitieswhereroll-overortip-overhaz-
ardsexist.TheRollOverProtectionStructure(ROPS)structurewillonlybefullyeffectivewhenthedriverremains
attachedtohisseat.
•Donotusethemachinebeyonditslimitsofdynamicstability.Highspeed,abruptmaneuvers,andfastandshort
corneringwillincreasetheriskofroll-over.
•Becautiousthatthecenterofgravityofthemachinemayincreasewhenloadsonthebucketorattachmentare
raised.Intheseconditions,themachinemayroll-overearlierthanexpected.
•Youshalltakethenecessaryprecautionstoalwaysbeawareofthepossiblepresenceofbystanders,certainly
whenmaneuveringinconnedareas,suchasthefarmyardandsheds.Keeppeopleawayfromthemachine
duringwork;askbystanderstoleavetheeld.Thereisnotonlytherisktobeoverrunbythemachine,butobjects
maybedroppedfromabackhoe.Thepathofthefallenobjectsareunknown.Keepbystandersawayfromthework
area.
•Donotallowridersonthemachine.
•Amachinehasonlyoneoperatorstationandisaonemanoperatedvehicle.Otherpeopleonoraroundthemachine
duringnormaloperationarenotallowed.
•Allpersonswhowillbeoperatingthismachineshallpossessavalidlocalvehicleoperatingpermitand/orother
applicablelocalageworkpermits.
•Themachineisdesignedandproducedexclusivelyforagriculturaluse.
•Themachineisnotdesignedforlight/heavyforestryapplications;usageisprohibitedforforestryapplications.
•AllotherusewillbeconsideredtobecontrarytotheusespeciedbyCNHINDUSTRIALAMERICALLC,who
cannotbeheldliablefordamagetopropertyorthemachine,orforpersonalinjurieswhichmayresult.
•Personswhoriskimproperusewillthereforeassumetheresponsibilityforanyconsequencesarisingfromsuch
use.
•Compliancewiththeinstructionsforuse,maintenanceandrepairsdescribedinthismanual,aretheessentialpre-
conditionsfortheusespeciedbyCNHINDUSTRIALAMERICALLC.
•Themachinemustonlybeused,serviced,orrepairedbypersonneltrainedintherelevantworkingmethodsand
