Intendeduse
T9.seriestractorswithstandardequipmentandautho-
rizedattachments,areintendedtobeusedforcustomary
farming,landlevelingandrelatedagricultureoperations
(intendeduse).Thistractorisnotintendedforforestry
useorforusewithloaders.Thecabonthistractordoes
notoffersufcientprotectionforforestrywork.
Installationofutility(dozer)blades,tileplows,frontload-
ersorpushbarsonthetractorisnotapproved.Anytrac-
tordamageresultingfromtheinstallationand/oruseof
suchequipmentisnotcoveredbythetractorwarranty.
ConsultanauthorizeddealerorCNHIndustrialAmerica
LLConchanges,additionsormodicationsthatcanbe
requiredforthismachinetocomplywithvariousregula-
tionsandsafetyrequirements.Unauthorizedmodica-

Thismanualprovidesinformationontheintendeduseof
yourtractorundertheconditionsforeseenbytheman-

maintenanceandperiodicserviceandmaintenance.
Normaloperationisuseofthetractorforthepurposein-
tendedbythemanufacturerbyanowner/operatorwhois

thedecalsonthetractor.
Routineserviceandmaintenanceincludessuchactions
asfueling,cleaning,washing,toppingoffuidlevels,
greasing,andreplacingconsumablearticlessuchas
lampbulbs.
Periodicserviceandmaintenancearethoseactions
whichmustbeperformedatregularlydenedintervals
tomaintainpropertractorfunctionbyanowner/operator
whoisfamiliarwithtractorcharacteristics,andwhois
complyingwiththeinformationonperiodicserviceand
safepracticesinthismanualandinthedecalsonthe

Periodicserviceandmaintenanceincludessuchactions
aschecking,cleaningandchangingairlters,changing
engineoilandlters,changingtransmissionoilandl-

Theseactionsrequirespecialfacilities,technicalskills,
and/ortoolswhicharenotsuppliedwiththemachine.
Convertingischangingthetractorcongurationfora
speciccroporsoilconditionandrequiresrebuildingor
addingcomponentstothevehicle:forexample,instal-
lationofdualwheels.Repairingisthedisassemblyand
assemblyofthetractortorestoreproperoperationafter
acomponentfailureordegradationofperformance.
