ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS.
Regrettably self assembly items cannot be returned once assembly is part or fully completed unless the item is found
to be faulty. Should you need to return the unassembled product, please repack in the original packaging.

•We suggest you spend a short time reading through this leaet and then follow the simple step-by-step instructions.
IMPORTANT - RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE - READ CAREFULLY.
•The Richmond range is manufactured in China from a carefully selected grade of oak that contains many naturally
occurring variations such as knots and prominent grain to give a natural look.
•Oak wood and veneers often have random pale markingsin the grain, these are called medullary rays which are a
natural, unique and desirable feature of the wood.
•For general cleaning, periodically dust with a soft cloth.
•Avoid keeping furniture in direct sunlight or close to any heat sources as this can cause cracking, discolouration or
warping.
•Do not put hot dishes directly on the surfaces of the item.
•Ensure the product is protected with mats and coasters when items are placed on the surfaces, to prevent scratching
or damage.
•Always use a non-silicone based furniture polish. Silicone in furniture polishes can break down the lacquer nish.
•Do not rub or scrub the surface when cleaning.
•All assembly xings should always be tightened properly and periodically check all xings and tighten if necessary.
•Keep ttings out of children's reach and keep children well away from the construction area.
•Never drag pieces of furniture across the oor as this will cause damage to the joints.
•Any spills should be removed immediately with a soft clean damp cloth and dried immediately.
•Carefully check that you have all parts before beginning assembly.
•A minimum of 2 persons is required to assemble this product.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
•These characteristics produced by nature,enhance the look of the furniture and make each piece unique and
individual.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
•To prevent dead knots from falling out over time these are removed and lled by hand to maintain the look.
•As knots are natural the size and quantity per item will vary, this reinforces the individuality of each piece making
each item unique.
•We recommend that the packaging is used to protect the surfaces during assembly.
•Made from solid oak with lacquer nish.

1. Attach bottom legs (2) to one end of connection (3)
by inserting the bolts into the holes in connection (3).
After the bolt is inserted through the hole, place flat
washer (D), spring washer (C) and nut (B) on the bolt,
tighten the nut (B) with spanner (F). Please do not over
tighten as you may need some vertical adjustment
when fitting the top legs!
1. Turn over the unit assembled in Step One.
2. Attach upper legs (1) to the other end of the
connection (3) by inserting the bolts on the end of legs
(1) to the holes in the connection (3). After the bolts are
inserted through the holes, place flat washer (D),
spring washer (C) and nut (B) on the bolt. Ensure the
legs fit well against the face of the metal connection (3)
tighten the nut (B) with spanner (F). Please do not over
tighten.
3. Adjust top and bottom legs (1) and (2) if necessary
to ensure a good fit before tightening all bolts firmly,
(do not over tighten)

1. Cover the top end of the connection (3) with cover
(4).
2. Insert dowels (A) into the ends of upper legs (1).
1. Place tabletop (5) onto upper legs (1).
2. Fix the tabletop (5) to the upper legs (1) by inserting
bolt (E) through spring washer (G) and flat washer (H)
into the holes in the upper legs (1), tighten using allen
key (I). Please do not over tighten.
Assembly is now complete.
