ABOUT ARTICA RUNNER
Bluetooth is a new short-distance wireless communication technology. Any
devices with Bluetooth feature, such as mobile phones, PDA, PC, headsets,
mouse, keypads, keyboards, printers and other mobile fittings, can work as
wireless devices. Designed with global standards, Bluetooth technology applies
to internationally certified ISM bandwidth. The frequency band ranging from
2.4 GHz to 2.48 GHz is divided up into 79 channels by way of frequency hopping
up to 1600 times for data transmission with a distance of 10 meters.
The accessories are subject to change for improving product performance
without prior notice. The real products prevail.

1. Built-in rechargeable Lithium battery.
2. lt must take 3 hours for the first time charging.
3. Connect the charger cable to the charger connector. The Red indicator light is
displayed during charging. Charging the battery fully may take about 2 hours.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the Red indicator light will turn blue.
Disconnect the charger from the headset and the outlet. The headset is ready
to use.

WEARING
MAKING PHONE CALLS
Receiving a call
Short press the Power/Play key to receive an incoming call.
Ending a call
Short press the Power/Play key to end a call.
Redialing the last number *
To redial the number you last called (if your phone supports this feature with the
headset), when no call is in progress, press the Power/Play key twice.
Rejecting a call *
Press the Power/Play key for 2 seconds to reject a call.
Call waiting *
Press the Power/Play key for 2 seconds when call is in progress for call waiting.
Volume control
Short press Volume(+) button to increase volume, press Volume(-) button to
decrease volume.
Note:
The functions with * mark must be supported by your mobile phone.
For the best sound performance and a secure, comfortable fit, be sure the ear
buds is fixed properly, and suitable size selected.

PAIR THE HEADSET
If your phone supports the A2DP Bluetooth profile and has a music player
feature, you can use the phone to make and receive calls, and to play music with
the headset.
1. Ensure that your phone or music device is on and the headset is off.
2. Press and hold the Power/Play button for about 5s, the indicator light will
flashes red and blue intermittently, the device is now in pairing mode.
3. Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone or music player, and set it to
search for Bluetooth devices.
4. Select the headset NGS ARTICA RUNNER from the list of founded devices on
your phone or music player.
5. When the headset is connected to your device and is ready for use, the Blue
indicator light will flash every 5 seconds.

Continuous cracking noise
• Toobtainperfectsoundquality,pleasedon’ttakeearphoneawaytoomuch

Unable to hear any sound
• PresstheVolume+buttonontheheadsettoincreasethevolume.
• Ensureyourheadsetisproperlypairedwiththemobilephone.
• Ensuretheheadsetisconnectedtothemobilephone.Iftheheadsetisnot
connected to the phone via the Bluetooth option, please follow the pairing
process to connect them. For details, refer to the part “Pairing the Headset” in
this manual.
Unable to connect
• Thepairingsettingsbetweenyourheadsetandmobilephonemaybedeleted.
Follow the part “Pairing the Headset” in this manual to pair them again.
Can this device apply to other Bluetooth devices?
• ARTICARUNNERBluetoothheadsetisdesignedtopairBluetoothmobile
phones. In addition, it is compatible with Bluetooth Version 1.1, Version 1.2 or
2.0 and supports operations upon other Bluetooth devices.
• Somefunctions,suchas“Rejectingacall”,“Redialing”,or“Voicedialing”,are
only available while supported by your mobile phone. Please check the phone
manual for further information.
LISTEN TO MUSIC
To listen to music, pair and connect the headset to a device that supports the
A2DP Bluetooth profile. (See “Pair the headset”). To play music, use the playback
controls on the connected device. If you answer or make a call while listening to
the music, the music will pause until you end the call.

Otherwise it may shorten the service life of the battery and harm the
operation.
• Hightemperaturemayalsodamagetheproductperformance.Ifthedevice
contacts water or other liquids, wipe away the water stains on the device.

PROTECT YOUR HEARING
The headset is able to provide extreme high volume and sharp tone.
Exposure to such a sound may cause permanent hearing impairment. The
volume level may differ due to your phone settings, the answering and
volume settings, and the environmental factors. Before using this device,
please read the safety guide below.
Safety guide
Perform the following steps before use:
• Minimizethevolumebeforewearingtheheadset.Then,adjustthevolumetoaproper
level slowly aftaryou wear it.
• Duringoperation,keepthevolumeaslowaspossible.Avoidusingthedeviceinnoisy
surroundings, as you may have to increase the volume. If you have to increase the
volume, control the speed for volume adjusting.
Others
• Ifyoufeeluncomfortableoradrumminginyourears,stopusingtheheadsetandseek
medical assistance immediately.
• Continuousexposuretohighvolumemayhaveyouadaptedtothevolumelevel.This
may result in permanent hearing loss without causing discomfort
Note:
• Itisdangerousandillegal(insomejurisdictions)tousetheheadsetwhenyouare
driving a car, a motorcycle, ship, ora bike. Acquaint yourself with the local laws and
regulations. If you have to use the headset while working on activities that require
attention to be focused on, be careful. In this case, take off the headset ortum it off to
avoid distraction, and thus the occurrence of accidents or hurts.
• Keepingthedeviceoutofthereachofsmallchildren:
The packing products and the plastic bags for the accessories are not toys. The
bag itself and those small fittings inside may cause suffocation. Do not attempt to
disassemble the device. No parts embedded can be replaced or repaired by users.

WARRANTY
Limited warranty. NGS warrants that any hardware products accompanying this documentation shall be free
from significant defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years, three (3) years or five
(5)yearsfromthedateofpurchase.NGS’slimitedwarrantyisnon-transferableandislimitedtotheoriginal
purchaser. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary under
local laws.
Remedies. NGS’sentireliabilityandtheuser’sexclusiveremedyforanybreachofwarrantyshallbe,atNGS’s
option, to: (a) repair or replace the hardware, or (b) refund the price paid, provided that the hardware is
returned to the point of purchase or such other place as NGS may direct, with a copy of the sales receipt. Any
replacement hardware will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. These remedies
are void if failure of the hardware has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized
repair, modification or disassembly. Besides, as it regards wireless devices, such remedies are void if the
batteries used are different from those recommended by NGS. On request of NGS, the user shall provide a
dated proof of original purchase or a dated summary invoice.
Disclaimer of warranty. The warranties expressly set forth in this agreement replace all other warranties. NGS
and its suppliers expressly disclaim all other warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties
of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement of third-party rights with
respect to the hardware, software, documentation and any other materials provided by NGS or its suppliers,
and any warranties of non-interference or accuracy of informational content. No NGS dealer, agent, or
employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty. Some jurisdictions
do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability. In no event will NGS or its suppliers be liable for any costs of procurement of substitute
products or services, lost profits, loss of information or data, or any other special, indirect, consequential, or
incidental damages arising in any way out of the sale of, use of, or inability to use any NGS product or service,
evenifNGShasbeenadvisedofthepossibilityofsuchdamages.InnocaseshallNGSanditssuppliers’
total liability exceed the actual money paid for the NGS producer or service giving rise to the liability Some
jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The above limitations will not apply in case of personal injury
where and to the extent that applicable law requires such liability.

Recevoir un appel
Appuyez brièvement sur la touche Marche/Lecture pour recevoir les appels
entrants.

Pour sélectionner le dernier numéro effectué (si le téléphone supporte cette

COUPLER LE CASQUE
Si le portable supporte le Bluetooth A2DP et possède la fonction musique (MP3),
il peut être utilisé aussi bien pour téléphoner que pour écouter de la musique.
1. S’assurerqueleportableoulelecteurdemusiquesoitallumerequelecasque
soit éteint.
2. Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton Marche/Lecture pendant environ
5secondes,levoyantclignoteenrougeetbleuetl’appareilpasseenmode
connexion.
3. Activer la fonction Bluetooth sur le portable ou sur le lecteur de musique et
fixer la recherche des dispositifs Bluetooth.
4. Sélectionner le casque NGS ARTICA RUNNER dans la liste des dispositifs du
portable ou lecteur de musique.
5. Lorsquelecasqueestconnectéàvotredispositifetprêtàl’usage,unvoyant
lumineux clignotera toutes les 5 secondes.
Pour une qualité sonore optimale et un ajustement sûr et confortable, assurez-
vous que les écouteurs sont réglés correctement et que vous avez choisi la taille
appropriée.

SOBRE ARTICA RUNNER
Bluetooth es una nueva tecnología de comunicación inalámbrica de corta
distancia. Cualquier dispositivo con función Bluetooth, como teléfonos móviles,
PDA, PC, auriculares, ratón, teclados numéricos, teclados, impresoras y otros
accesorios móviles, pueden trabajar como dispositivos inalámbricos. Diseño con
estándares globales, la tecnología Bluetooth cumple con el ancho de banda ISM
certificado internacionalmente. El ancho de banda se extiende entre 2,4 GHz y
2,48 GHz y está dividido en 79 canales por medio de frecuencia que saltan hasta

USO
REALIZAR LLAMADAS TELEFÓNICAS
Recibir una llamada
Pulse brevemente el botón Encendido/Reproducción para recibir llamadas
entrantes.
Terminar una llamada
Pulse suavemente el botón Encendido/Reproducción para terminar una llamada.
Rellamar al último número*
Para rellamar al último número que ha llamado (si su teléfono soporta esta
función con el auricular), cuando no hay ninguna llamada en progreso, pulse el
botón Encendido/Reproducción dos veces.
Rechazar una llamada*
Pulse el botón Encendido/Reproducción 2 segundos para rechazar una llamada.
Llamada en espera*
Pulse la tecla Encendido/Reproducción durante 2 segundos cuando la llamada
esté en curso para la llamada en espera.
Control de volumen
Pulse brevemente el botón Volumen (+) para aumentar el volumen, pulse
brevemente el botón Volumen (-) para reducir el volumen.

Las funciones marcadas con * deben ser soportadas por su teléfono móvil.
SINCRONIZACIÓN DE AURICULARES
Si su teléfono soporta un perfil Bluetooth A2DP y tiene una función de
reproductor de música, puede utilizar el teléfono para realizar o recibir llamadas
y reproducir música con el auricular.
1. Fíjese en que su teléfono o reproductor de música esté encendido y el
auricular esté apagado.
2. Mantenga pulsado el botón Encendido/Reproducción durante unos 5
segundos, la luz indicadora parpadea en rojo y azul de forma intermitente, el
dispositivo se encuentra en el modo de conexión.
3. Active la función Bluetooth de su teléfono o reproductor de música y
configúrelo para que busque dispositivos Bluetooth.
4. Seleccione el auricular NGS ARTICA RUNNER de la lista de dispositivos
encontrados en su teléfono o reproductor de música.
5. Cuando el auricular está conectado a su dispositivo y está listo para ser
utilizado, la luz indicadora azul parpadea cada 5 segundos.
Para un sonido óptimo y un ajuste seguro y cómodo, asegúrese de que los
auriculares están fijados correctamente y que ha seleccionado el tamaño
adecuado.

ESCUCHAR MÚSICA
Para escuchar música, conecte el auricular a un dispositivo que
soporte el perfil Bluetooth A2DP. (Véase “Conectar el auricular”).
Para reproducir música, utiliza los controles de reproducción en el
dispositivo conectado. Si contesta o realiza una llamada cuando está
escuchando música, la música se parará hasta que termine la llamada.

GARANTÍA
Garantía limitada. NGS garantiza la ausencia de anomalías importantes en lo referente a los materiales y
fabricación de todos los productos de hardware suministrados con este documento durante un periodo de
(2) años, (3) años o (5) años (según producto), a partir de la fecha de adquisición del producto. La garantía
limitada de NGS es intransferible y protege exclusivamente al comprador original. Esta garantía no afecta a
los derechos de que dispone el consumidor conforme a las previsiones de esta ley.
Indemnización. La responsabilidad total de NGS y la única indemnización a la que el usuario tendrá derecho
en caso de incumplimiento de la garantía consistirá, a discreción de NGS, en: (a) la reparación o sustitución
del hardware o (b) el reembolso del importe abonado, siempre y cuando el hardware se devuelva al punto
de venta, o cualquier otro lugar que NGS indique, junto con una copia del recibo de compra. Los productos
de hardware suministrados para reemplazar al producto original tendrán una garantía equivalente al
periodo restante de la garantía original. Estas disposiciones carecen de validez en aquellos casos en
los que el hardware haya resultado dañado como consecuencia de un accidente o el uso indebido o
incorrecto del producto, o a reparaciones, modificaciones o montajes no autorizados. Además, en el caso
de los dispositivos inalámbricos, estas disposiciones carecen de validez si se utilizan pilas distintas a las
recomendadas por NGS. En caso de que NGS lo solicitara, deberá demostrar la fecha de compra original del
hardware mediante un comprobante de compra fechado o de un recibo detallado y fechado.
Renuncia de garantía. Las garantías detallladas en el presente acuerdo sustituyen a todas las demás garantías.
NGS y sus proveedores rechazan expresamente el resto de garantías, incluidas, pero sin limitarse a, las
garantías implícitas de comercialización y adecuación para un uso específico, y la garantía de no infracción
de los derechos de terceros respecto al hardware, software, documentación o cualquier otro material
suministrado por NGS o sus proveedores, y cualquier garantía de no intromisión o exactitud del contenido de
la información. Ningún distribuidor, agente ni empleado de NGS está autorizado a introducir modificaciones,

nach Produkt) nach dem Einkaufsdatum. Diese begrenzte Garantie ist nicht gegen die Rechte des Benutzers
durch Gesetz.
Schadenersatz. Die komplette Verantwortung von NGS und der einzige Schadenersatz dass der Benutzer
bekommen wird falls die Garantie nicht vervollständig wird, ist, von NGS Seite (a) die Reparatur oder Ersatz
des Hardwares oder (b) die Vergütung des vom Benutzer bezahlten Betrag, immer wenn der Hardware
miteinerKopiedesEinkaufsticketszudasVerkaufspunktodersonstigesPlatzvomNGSgenehmigt
zurückgegeben wird. Die Hardware Produkte um die originale Produkte zu ersetzen haben eine Garantie
gültig für die restliche Zeit der originalen Garantie. Diese Voraussetzungen sind ungültig in solchen Fällen
wenn den Hardware wegen eines Unfalls oder Missverbauchs oder Reparaturen, Änderungen oder
ungenehmiger Montage beschädigt wurde. Ausserdem für drahtlose Geräte, diese Voraussetzungen sind

Kündigung der Garantie. Die in dieser Vereinbarung detallierte Garantie ersetzt andere mögliche Garantie.
NGS und ihre Lieferanten lehnen andere Garantie ab, nicht nur aber auch spezifische Garantie für Verkauf
und Anpassung zu einer bestimmten Funktion, und die Garantie von keinen Beschädigungen den Rechten
von dritten Personen in Bezug auf den Hardware, Software, Dokumenten oder sonstiges Produkt von NGS
oder von ihren Lieferanten und irgendwelche Garantie von Einführung oder Genaugkeit des Inhalts der
Information.KeinHändler,AgentoderMitarbeitervonNGSistgeeignetÄnderungen,Vergrösserungen,oder
Addierungen in dieser Garantie einzufügen.In einigen Amtsbereichen die Begrenzung der Dauerzeit der
Garantie wird nicht erlaubt, die obenbeschriebene Begrenzungen können in diesen Fällen vielleicht nicht
anwenbar sein.
Begrenzung der Verantwortung. In keinem Fall kann NGS oder ihre Lieferanten verantwortlich für Liefer
oder Ersatzkosten von Produkten oder Diensten, oder für Gewinn , Information, oder Datenverlust oder
andere besondere indirekte sofortige oder fallende Beschädigung vom Verkauf der Bedienung oder die
Unmöglichkeit der Bedienung eines NGS Produktes oder Diensts auch wenn an NGS die Möglichkeit diesen
Beschädigungen mitgeteilt wurde. Die komplette Verantwortung von NGS und ihren Lieferanten wird in
allen Fällen begrenzt zu den wirklichen Betrag den von den NGS Herstellern oder Diensten vergütet wurde.
In einigen Amtsbereichen die Abwesenheit oder Begrenzungen der Verantwortung wegen sofortigen oder
fallenden Beschädigungen werden nicht erlaubt, in solchen Fällen kann sein dass die obenbeschriebene
Begrenzungen können vielleicht nicht anwendbar sein. So die vorige Begrenzung wird nicht gültig sein
falls persönliche Beschädigungen auftreten und wenn das entsprechende Gesetzt diese Verantwortung
anfordert.

Il Bluetooth è una nuova tecnologia di comunicazione senza fili per brevi
distanze. Alcune apparecchiature con caratteristica di Bluetooth, come telefoni
mobili, PDA, PC, cuffie, mouse, tastiere, stampanti ecc. possono funzionare come
periferiche senza fili. Progettata con standard globali, la tecnologia Bluetooth si
applica alle bande di frequenza ISM certificate a livello internazionale.
La banda di frequenza che va da 2.4 GHz a 2.48 GHz è divisa in 79 canali
attraverso il salto di frequenza fino a 1600 volte per la trasmissione dati con una
distanza di 10 metri.
Gli accessori sono soggetti a continue modifiche, senza preavviso, per
migliorarne le prestazioni. I prodotti originali prevalgono.

EFFETTUARE TELEFONATE
Ricevere una chiamata
Premere brevemente il tasto di Accensione/Riproduzione per ricevere le
chiamate in arrivo.
Terminare la chiamata
Premere il tasto Accensione/Riproduzione per terminare la chiamata.
Riselezione dell’ultimo numero*
Perselezionarel’ultimonumeroeettuato(seiltelefonosupportaquesta
funzione con le cuffie), quando non ci sono chiamate in corso, premere il tasto
Accensione/Riproduzione per due volte.
Rifiutare una chiamata*
Premere il tasto Accensione/Riproduzione per 2 secondi per rifiutare la
chiamata.
Avviso di chiamata*
Premere il pulsante di Accensione/Riproduzione per 2 secondi quando la
chiamata è in corso per la chiamata in attesa.
Controllo del volume
Premere brevemente il pulsante Volume (+) per aumentare il volume, Premere
brevemente il pulsante Volume (–) per diminuire il volume.
Nota:
Le funzioni con * devono essere supportate dal telefono.
ACCOPPIARE LE CUFFIE
Se il cellulare supporta il Bluetooth A2DP e ha la funzione musica (MP3), può
essere usato sia per telefonare che per ascoltare musica.
1. Assicurarsi che il telefono cellulare o lettore musicale sia acceso e le cuffie
spente.
2 Tenere premuto il pulsante di Accensione/Riproduzione per circa 5 secondi,
l’indicatoreluminosolampeggeràdirossoebluinmanieraintermittente,il
dispositivo è in modalità di connessione.
3. Attivare la funzione Bluetooth sul telefono cellulare o lettore musicale e
impostare la ricerca dei dispositivi Bluetooth.
4. Selezionare la cuffia NGS ARTICA RUNNER dalla lista dei dispositivi del
telefono cellulare o lettore musicale.
5.Quandolecuiesonoconnessealvostrodispositivoepronteall’usoallorala
spia blu lampeggerà ogni 5 secondi.
Per un suono ottimale e una regolazione sicura e confortevole, assicurarsi
che le cuffie siano impostate correttamente e di aver scelto la dimensione
appropriata.
