NightSearcher products have been carefully tested and inspected before
shipment and are guaranteed to be free from defective materials and
workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, provided that
the enclosed instructions have been followed.
Should you experience problems with your NightSearcher product, please return
the item, complete with any chargers, to your place of purchase or contact
NightSearcher Ltd direct.

If upon inspection it is found that the fault occurring is due to defective materials
or workmanship, repairs will be carried out free of charge. This guarantee does
not apply to normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage caused by
misuse, careless / unsafe handling, alterations, accidents, or repairs attempted or
made by any personnel without prior approval from NightSearcher Ltd.
Batteries are consumable items and are not covered by this guarantee.Your
guarantee is not effective unless you can produce a dated receipt of purchase.
Please note that this guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
If at any time, you need to dispose of this product or parts of this product: please
note that waste electrical products, bulbs and batteries should not be disposed of
with ordinary household waste. Recycle where facilities exist. Check with your
local authority for recycling advice.Alternatively, NightSearcher is happy to take
receipt of this product at end-of-life and will recycle it on your behalf.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

The Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) can last over 50,000 hours and seldom need
replacing. If the LED should malfunction, please contact NightSearcher Limited or
an authorised distributor.
NOTE: Fully charge before using your NightSearcher Power-Star ★for the first time.
It is important to connect the charger as described below
•Using the supplied USB charging cable select the mini USB connector and
insert it into the input socket (1)
•Plug the USB plug into any USB output socket
•When charging voltage is detected the battery status indicators will
illuminate to show charge status
•The NightSearcher Power-Star ★will take between 7 and 9 hours to fully
recharge from flat.
•When fully charged all status LEDs will illuminate steady
•Using the supplied USB cable, connect to the USB output socket (4) on the
base of the unit

LED ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT
•Connect the other end of the lead to your mobile device ensuring to select
the correct connector
•Your device will indicate charging; the battery status indicators on the
NightSearcher Power-Star ★will light up one by one to show battery
capacity
•Press power switch (2), the LED indicator(s) turn(s) on to show the battery
capacity
•The LED indicator(s) turn(s) off after 10 seconds
•Press and turn on power switch (2), then press the torch on/off switch (3) to
turn on the LED light.
•Multimode switch cycles between: standard brightness →high brightness →
emergency blinking light →SOS distress signal light →power off
•To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, all repairs, maintenance and
adjustment should be performed by NightSearcher Ltd or an authorised
Distributor.
•Make sure the torch is completely dry before use
•When the unit is excessively discharged, or the connected device is not
stable, its protection circuit will automatically de-activate the unit
•To re-activate the unit, unplug the connected device and short charge the
unit
•Do not allow children to play with the torch
•Do not shine directly into eyes
•Do not expose the battery to fire/high temperatures or extreme wet/cold
conditions
•Do not try to repair the unit or adaptor yourself.Please contact
NightSearcher Ltd or an authorised Distributor
•Do not use excessive force on the product as this may cause permanent
damage to the unit
•Always keep the unit fully charged when not in use
•It is important to recharge the unit as soon as possible after each usage
•The Li-ion rechargeable battery in this unit must be recycled or disposed of
properly
