・Do not use in locations that are humid, wet, very hot,
cold, or in direct sunlight.
・Due to large size and weight, please use care and be
aware of your surroundings during use.
Handle with Care.
・Do not drop or subject instrument to excessive shock.
Do not place under heavy objects. Improper handling may
cause damage or poor accuracy.
・Do not scratch instrument, for example by writing ID number.

・Do not remove the vernier slide, please do not attempt to
disassemble or modify as it may cause damage or poor
accuracy.
CALIBRATION
●In order to maintain instrument accuracy, it is recommended that
accuracy is confirmed through calibration on a periodic basis.
Wear of measuring surfaces from repeated use may affect accuracy and
periodic accuracy checks should be performed.
Position measured object between these surfaces.
Measures external dimensions. Move Slide to open and close.
Measures the height of steps.
Measures internal dimensions. Move Slide to open and close.
Position surfaces inside object to be measured.
Locks the Vernier Slide.
Tighten to use Fine Adjustment Feed Wheel.
Indicates measured value in 1mm graduations.
Feed screw for fine adjust of Slide.
Scale for measuring with a resolution of 0.05mm.

PREPARATION FOR USE
READING THE SCALE PREVENTING ERRORS
In order to prevent measurement error, please note the
following.
●Material : Stainless Steel
SPECIFICATIONS ●Wipe slide, measuring surfaces, and exterior with
a dry cloth to remove any dirt or oil.
For rust prevention, lightly apply anti-rust oil, or place in rust
preventive bag.
●Store with Lock Screw loosened.
If stored with Lock Screw tight, expansion due to temperature
changes may cause excessive force which will cause inaccuracy.
●Store in supplied case in a cool, dry location.
Store away from moisture or direct sunlight, and out of reach
of unauthorized personnel.

Due to the large size and weight of the instrument, if not well
supported during use the body may deflect and introduce
measurement error.

Before using the caliper, follow the steps below:
●Do not apply excessive force to Slide.
Moving the Slide with excessive force may cause damage and measurement error.
●Wipe off rust proofing and dirt from measuring surfaces and slide.
Contamination of surfaces may cause measurement error.
●Allow the caliper and object to be measured time to reach the same temperature.
A temperature difference between the object to be measured and the
caliper may cause measurement error. Allow enough time for the
temperatures to equilibrate.
●Performing an accuracy check.
①Jaw Alignment
In closed position, make sure the measuring surfaces on the outside
jaws align properly and there is no gap (no light should leak past.)
②Confirm “0”points on scale (see diagram at right)
With jaws closed as in step ①above, make sure the reading is zero and
the vernier scale graduations align at the “0”and “39”positions as shown.
Scale should be read from
directly above the calipers.
Due to change in height of
vernier scale relative to main
scale, if viewing direction is
not directly above the reading
may have parallax error.

AFTER USE CARE・STORAGE NOTES
The measured value is determined by reading the main
scale, and then adding the Vernier Scale reading
determined by the position where the vernier and main
scale graduations align.
※Measurements made on area of Measurement Surface
closest to the Main Scale will have the highest accuracy.
When taking measurements using the tips of the Jaws,
accuracy depends of measurement technique and may not
meet the stated accuracy specifications.

校正について●測定精度を保つため、一定周期で校正による精度確認をおすすめします。性能の劣化は、使用の頻度・環境によって大きく異なります。お客様の社内規格に準じた周期で、定期点検を行うことをおすすめ致します。弊社にて校正を受け付けております。全国にある弊社代理店、取扱店を経由してお申し込みください。
⑨微動送り車
※⑥止めねじをゆるめ、⑦微動止めねじを締めた状態で、⑨微動 送り車を回して微調整を行ってください。使用前の準備ご使用前に、下記の準備を行ってください。●バーニヤに無理な力をかけない。バーニヤに無理な力をかけて動かすと、精度不良や破損の原因となります。●測定面、摺動面、外観などの汚れや防錆油などを拭き取る。そのまま測定を行うと誤差の原因となります。●本体と被測定物の温度慣らしを十分に行う。測定器本体と被測定物の間に温度差があると、誤差の原因となります。同じ温度になるよう、温度慣らしは十分に行ってください。●使用前精度確認を行う。①ジョウの確認外側用ジョウを閉じた状態で外側用ジョウの部分を光に透かして、隙間がないか（光が漏れていないか）確認してください。②副尺の０点が合致しているか（右図）①の状態で、副尺目盛の２つの０が、本尺目盛の０と３９に合致していることを確認してください。目盛の読み方本尺目盛に、本尺目盛と副尺（バーニヤ）目盛が合致したところの副尺目盛をプラスして、測定値を読みます。誤差の防止測定誤差を防ぐため、下記の事項に注意してください。使用後のお手入れ・保管方法●材質：ステンレススチールJLVC

品 番最大測定長最小読取値最大許容誤差質 量製品仕様●測定面・摺動面・外観などの汚れや油などを乾いたウエスで拭き取り、防錆処理を行う。防錆処理は防錆油を薄く塗るか、防錆袋などに入れてください。●止めねじをゆるめた状態で保管する。ジョウを閉じた状態で止めねじを締めて固定すると、温度変化による膨張などで無理な力がかかり、精度不良の原因となります。●付属のケースに入れ、乾燥した冷暗所に保管する。直射日光や湿気は避け、管理者以外が触れない状態で保管してください。●測定例１測定値＝本尺目盛＋副尺（バーニヤ）目盛 

30です。※外側の精度保証は、測定面で最も本尺に近い部分（上側）によって保証しています。ジョウの先端を用いて測定を行う場合、測定の方法によっては測定精度が表示の最大許容誤差を満たさない場合があります。 ＜直方体を測定する場合＞平行する面に対して垂直にジョウ部分を当てます。＜円筒体を測定する場合＞円筒体の軸方向に対して、ノギスが直角になるようにジョウ部分を当てます。ノギスの目盛のある方向に垂直に読み取ります。垂直でないと本尺と副尺（バーニヤ）の面の高さの段差により、視差ができ誤差が発生します。
