Consumers should check their blender to determine if they have one of the above
models. All potentially affected blenders show the model number on the rating
label that is molded into the bottom of the motor base.
This recall does not require consumers to return their blenders. The recall is to
provide consumers with revised instructions, advising that consumers should
empty the blender’s pitcher through the locked lid’s pour spout, or, alternatively,
by removing both the lid and the stacked blade assembly from the pitcher before
pouring.

RECALL NOTICE
REVISED WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS
Re: Revised Instructions for Ninja BL660 Series Professional Blenders in Recall to Warn
of Laceration Risk
Dear Valued Customer:
The reliability and safety of our products is of utmost importance to SharkNinja. In order to
ensure the safety of our consumers, we, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety
Commission and Health Canada, have revised the warning and safety instructions for Ninja®
BL660 series professional blenders. The blender’s stacked blade assembly poses a laceration
risk if consumers pour from or invert the blender’s pitcher after removing the lid, without also
carefully removing the loose stacked blade assembly from the pitcher.
This recall neither requires consumers to return their blenders nor for retailers to stop the
sale of any units. Rather, the purpose is to provide consumers with revised instructions,
advising that consumers should empty the blender’s pitcher through the locked lid’s pour spout,
or, alternatively, by removing both the lid and the stacked blade assembly from the pitcher
before pouring.
Based on our records, you purchased affected products for resale. Enclosed are recall posters
announcing the revised instructions. Please display these posters in a highly visible location
within stores that sold the recalled models for a period of no less than 120 days. The revised
instructions are enclosed and can also be obtained either by clicking on our website
(www.ninjarecall.com) or from a link in the joint news release with the U.S. Consumer Product
Safety Commission and Health Canada.
SharkNinja is committed to ensuring that our products are safe and reliable by setting high
standards for quality control and thoroughly investigating any reported issues.
We take seriously the trust you and our shared customers place in the quality of SharkNinja
products. Please contact me at 617-243-0235 if you have any questions or comments. Thank you
for your business and cooperation. This recall is in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product
Safety Commission and Health Canada; they will monitor the effectiveness of this recall
program.

AVERTISSEMENT : Les lames
superposées sont coupantes et
la tige n’est pas verrouillée en
place. Si vous vous servez
du bec verseur, assurez-
vous que le couvercle est
bien verrouillé en place
sur le pichet-mélangeur.
Ne pas procéder de la
sorte augmente le risque
de lacération.
AVERTISSEMENT : Les lames
superposées sont coupantes
et la tige n’est pas verrouillée
en place. Pour verser sans le
couvercle, retirez d’abord
le jeu de lames super-
posées avec précaution,
en le tenant par la tige.
Ne pas procéder de la sorte
augmente le risque de lacération.
