IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
For Household Use Only
Before using the 1.4 L Multi Serve Cup, read the instruction manual of the
appliance with which it is being used.
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE
FOLLOWING:

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY:
1 WARNING: Never leave the appliance unattended while
inuse.
2 CAUTION: Blade assembly is sharp. When handling the
blade assembly, always hold by the base of the blade
assembly.
3 CAUTION: Do not blend hot liquids. Allow liquids and foods
to cool to room temperature before blending.
4 CAUTION: Do not blend dry ingredients unless pulsing for
short intervals per the instructions. Continuous blending dry
ingredients will overheat the blender.
5 CAUTION: Never attempt to remove the 1.4 L Multi Serve
Cup while the appliance is still running.
6 DO NOT allow young children to operate the appliance or use as a
toy. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
nearchildren.
7Always use the appliance on a dry, level surface.
8Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as utensils out of the 1.4 L Multi
Serve Cup while processing to reduce the risk of severe injury to
persons or damage to the appliance. A scraper may be used but ONLY
when the appliance is not running.
9Avoid contact with moving parts.

10 DO NOT attempt to sharpen blade assemblies.
11 DO NOT use the appliance if the blade assembly is bent or damaged.
12 To reduce risk of injury, never place the blade assembly on the motor
base without the proper container.
13 To reduce the risk of injury, NEVER operate the appliance without
the blade assembly in place. DO NOT try to defeat the interlock
mechanism; make sure that the appliance is properly installed before
operating the appliance.
14 DO NOT expose 1.4 L Multi Serve Cup to extreme temperature
changes.
15 DO NOT overfill.
16 DO NOT operate the appliance empty.
17 This product is intended for household use only. DO NOT use
this appliance for anything other than its intended use. DO NOT
useoutdoors.
18 Appliance accessories are NOT intended to be used in the microwave.
DO NOT place the 1.4 L Multi Serve Cup in the microwave as it may
result in damage to the accessories or the microwave.

Using the 1.4 L Multi Serve Cup
This accessory pack includes (1) 1.4 L Multi Serve Cup a nd is to be used with
your Pro Extractor Blades™that came with your blender.
Motor base may vary
depending on unit purchased.
IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE THAT THE MOTOR BASE IS PLUGGED IN FOR
USE. NO LIGHTS WILL TURN ON.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT OVERFILL! TO AVOID SPILLING, DO NOT
ADD INGREDIENTS PAST THE “MAX” LINE.
1Remove all packaging material and labels from the Multi Serve Cup.
2Wash the Multi Serve Cup and blade assembly in warm, soapy water
with a soft cloth.
CAUTION: Handle the blade assembly with care when washing
as the blades are very sharp.
3Rinse and dry thoroughly.
4The Multi Serve Cup and blade assembly are all dishwasher safe. It is
recommended that the Multi Serve Cup and blade assembly be placed
on the top rack. Ensure that the blade assembly is removed from the
Multi Serve Cup before placing in the dishwasher.
IMPORTANT: Place the motor base of the main unit on a clean,
dry, level surface such as a counter or table top.
WARNING: NEVER LEAVE THE APPLIANCE UNATTENDED WHILE
IN USE.
CAUTION: USE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING THE BLADE
ASSEMBLIES AS THE BLADES ARE VERY SHARP.
CAUTION: DO NOT BLEND HOT LIQUIDS IN THE MULTI SERVE CUP.
ALLOW LIQUIDS AND FOODS TO COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE
BEFORE BLENDING.
IMPORTANT: When processing soft dry ingredients such as
day-old bread or cheese use quick, short 1 second pulses.
Do not overfill to avoid overheating the appliance. Allow the
appliance to cool after each use.

5 When loading the Multi Serve Cup, start by adding fresh fruits and
vegetables, next add leafy greens and herbs. Pour in liquid or Yoghurt
next. For recipes with frozen ingredients or to make your drink thinner
and more juice-like, add liquid as desired. Next Add any dry or sticky
ingredients. Top off with ice or frozen ingredients.
6Place the blade assembly onto the Multi Serve Cup and twist it on
tightly, clockwise, until you have a good seal. (Fig. 1)
7Turn the Multi Serve Cup upside down and place it onto the motor
base, aligning the tabs on the Multi Serve Cup with the motor base.
Turn it clockwise until it locks in place, you will hear a click when the
lock is engaged. (Fig. 2)
8Follow the operation instructions from the main instruction manual
of the base unit being used. Press one of the appropriate buttons to
start. (Fig. 3)
9Before removing the Multi Serve Cup, ensure that the motor has
stopped running. Then turn the Multi Serve Cup anticlockwise (Fig. 4)
and pull straight up to remove. (Fig. 5)
10 Turn the Multi Serve Cup upright and remove the blade assembly by
twisting the blade assembly anticlockwise. Be sure to store the blade
assembly attached to an empty cup when not in use.
11 Pour your blended recipe into drinking cups and enjoy!
12 Make sure that the motor base is unplugged when not in use.

Care & Maintenance
CLEANING:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE MOTOR BASE IS UNPLUGGED
FROM THE POWER SOURCE BEFORE INSERTING OR REMOVING
ANY ATTACHMENT AND BEFORE CLEANING.
CAUTION: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE INTO WATER OR
ANY OTHER LIQUID.
CAUTION: HANDLE THE BLADE ASSEMBLY CAREFULLY AS THE
BLADES ARE VERY SHARP!
1Separate/remove all parts from each other.
2Clean the motor base with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
3Place the Multi Serve Cup and blade assembly in the top rack of the dishwasher.
STORING:
1Store the Multi Serve Cup and blade assembly where they will not be
damaged and won’t cause a hazard. Store the blade assembly attached
to an empty cup.

Troubleshooting
Unit doesn’t turn on:
• Makesuretheunitispluggedin.
• InsertandrotateMultiServeCupclockwiseinthebaseuntilit“clicks”.
Unit doesn’t turn off:
• RemoveMultiServeCupfrombasebyrotatingMultiServeCup
anticlockwise and lifting out. Display should turn off. Unplug the power cord
from the outlet.
Lid/blade assembly hard to assemble:
• SettheMultiServeCuponalevelsurface.Placebladeassemblyonthe
top of the Multi Serve Cup and align the threads so that the blades sit flat
on the Multi Serve Cup. Twist clockwise so that the blades evenly align to
the Multi Serve Cup until you have a tight seal.
Food is not evenly chopped:
• Forbestresultswhenchopping,makesureallingredientsareasdryas
possible. Cut pieces down to even sizes, and reduce the amount of food in the
MultiServeCup.Useveryshortpulsesbyquicklypressingthe“PULSE”button.
Doesn’t mix well, food gets stuck:
• Forbestresults,useAuto-iQ
®
programs. Pulses and pauses allow the
food to settle towards the blade. If ingredients are routinely getting
stuck, add additional liquid or reduce the amount of hard or frozen
ingredients in the Multi Serve Cup.
• When loading the Multi Serve Cup, start by adding fresh fruits and
