Stop spraying powder after the last part passes the operator

Remove the powder lance from the hopper and insert it into the

Disconnect the bulk feed and reclaim hoses from the sieve and

Remove the siphon hose from the bulk powder supply and
connect it to the purge holder. Purge Stubs
Unclamp the sieve deck and turn the pan chute so it points toward
the back of the feed center.
Re-clamp the deck. Pan Chute
Turn ON the reclaim pump.
Turn ON the Color Change switch to start the automatic gun
blowoff /all guns purge cycle.

When the other operator is done cleaning the inside of the booth,

Disassemble and clean the sieve
Disassemble
and
clean
the
sieve
.
Remove the screen gasket and clean it thoroughly.
Blow off the sieve brackets and the interior of the feed center once
more. If necessary, clean the interior with clean cloths.
Re-assemble the sieve.
Turn ON the reclaim pump.
Make sure the transfer hoses are still connected to the purge
holders.
Press the reclaim pump purge button to start the purge cycle.
Move to the Cyclone
Open the transfer pan and blow it clean
while the bulk feed and reclaim pumps are purging. Cyclone Flange
Blow clean the bottom flange of the cyclone.
Lock the transfer pan in the open position.
Move to the Feed Center
Press the manual purge button at the bulk feed station to purge the
bulk feed transfer pump.
Re-assemble the sieve but do not clamp the deck.
Install the new color feed hopper in the feed center.
Make sure the hopper vent tube is inserted into the vent stub on the

Insert the sieve pan chute into the hopper inlet tube, then clamp
the sieve deck.

Connect the fluidizing air tubing to the feed hopper.
Move to the Cyclone
Release the two latches and swing the lower section into the
cleaning position

Open the cleaning duct slide gate.
Move to the Feed Center
Remove the lance from the purge chute and install it through the
lance holder and into the powder

Connect the bulk feed hose to the sieve.
If not spraying to waste before production, connect the reclaim
hose to the sieve.
Turn OFF the color change switch.
Insert the bulk feed siphon hose into the new powder.
Turn ON the sieve.
Turn ON the reclaim and bulk feed pumps.
If spraying to waste before production,
Spray until confident all old powder is out of the system.
Move to the feed center, turn OFF the reclaim pump and sieve.
Connect the reclaim hose to the sieve.
Turn ON the sieve and reclaim pump.

Close and latch the booth entry doors.
Move the booth off-line. (Roll-on/Roll-off booths)
Turn all automatic guns off.
Move to the Exit End of the Booth

When the gun blow off/purge cycle is complete:
• Blow off the door and exit opening sills, then open the operator
door and blow off the interior of the booth, working from top to
bottom, from exit end to entry end of booth, blowing the powder
toward the riser inlet.
• Blow off the automatic gun tips.
• Blow off theAeroDecks™ and lift them open.
Blow off the riser inlet.
Open the riser door and blow off the interior of the riser.
For Hard-to-Clean Powders:
Wipe down the booth interior, riser inlet, and riser interior with damp
cotton towels.
Do not touch the canopy walls with your bare hands. Wear
cotton gloves Skin oils and other contaminants will affect the
cotton
gloves
.

will
affect
the
ability of the Apogee®panels to shed powder.
Set theAeroDecks in the operating position and exit the booth.
Close and latch the exit door.

Move to the Cyclone
Blow off the lower section of the cyclone. Start at the
flange and blow toward the bottom with a circular
motion.
Blow off the bottom flange and interior of the cyclone.
Swing the lower section of the cyclone down and latch it
closed.
Swing the transfer pan down and latch it closed.
Close the cleaning duct slide gate.

not already opened).
Set all automatic guns to the auto mode.
Start spraying new powder.
If Spraying to Waste
Spray until confident that all old powder is out of the
system.
Do not start production until the cyclone side operator
has connected the reclaim hose to the sieve.
