There is no substitute for instruction by a

IMPORTANT!
Please read and understand this information
before use, and retain this information for fu-
ture reference.
APPLICATION
SafeBloc is designed for rigging applications
as an alternative to traditional block pulley.
This product must not be loaded beyond its
strength rating, nor be used for any purpose
other than that for which it is designed. Prior
to each use ensure the SafeBloc is securely
anchored via conforming arborist rigging
sling. SafeBloc is not intended for climbing
and therefore not designed for life support.
PROPER USE
Only the loading shown as “OK” is allowed. Always verify proper positioning of your system and
components. Equipment must be free to align with the load, any restraint is dangerous.
• DO NOT CONNECT SafeBloc to sling or
spliced rope with a snap or other metal
connector.
• SafeBloc is only to be used with a profes-
sionally spliced sling.
• Ensure you have sufcient amount of rope
to land targeted load onto landing zone.
• DO NOT OVER ESTIMATE the strength of
your anchor point(s) or ropes.
• Positioning of the anchorage point for
safe fall arrest and this must take into ac-
count the fall distance including the rope
stretch so that obstructions (such as the
ground) may be safely avoided.
No responsibility will be accepted by Notch Equipment for damage, injury or death resulting from
misuse. Some examples of misuse are shown in the illustration and many other types of misuse also
exist; it is impossible to predict them all. User personally assumes all risks and responsibilities for
all damage, injury or death which may occur during or following incorrect use of this product in any
manner whatsoever.
COMPATIBILITY
Verify that product is compatible with other
elements of the system in your application
(compatible = good functional interaction).
SafeBloc is ONLY intended to be used with
arborist rigging ropes with the maximum di-
ameter of 3/4” (19mm) of three strand, double
braid or solid braid construction.
SafeBloc is compatible and can be used in
conjunction with lowering devices such as
GRCS (Good Rigging Control System), Portaw-
rap, Hobbs Device, and Rigging Bollard. It’s
the user’s responsibility to ensure that he/she
understands the correct and safe use of this
product.
INSPECT BEFORE & AFTER USE
Immediately before use read and understand
all instructions for use, visually and function-
ally inspect to ensure the product is in ser-
viceable condition and operates correctly.
Verify that product has no cracks, deformation,
marks, corrosion, etc. Inspect the spliced rope
for wear [see Maintenance & Storage].
In addition to inspection before, during and
after each use, a detailed inspection by a
competent inspector must be done at least
every 3 months or more frequently depend-
ing on amount and type of use. Make a copy
of these instructions and use one as a perma-
nent inspection card and keep the other with
the equipment.
MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
This product is not user maintainable with the
exception of the following:
Clean if necessary with water, then allow to
dry completely. The product should be stored
in a clean, dry environment free from corro-
sive or chemical substances. Care should be
taken to protect the product against damage
during transit.
Damaged or worn sling can be evaluated by
Notch Equipment for replacement. Please con-
tact Notch Equipment to request an inspection
of the worn sling. Only SafeBlocs which pass
Notch Equipment’s detailed inspection will be
considered for sling replacement.

RETIRE FROM SERVICE IF:
• Signicantly loaded.
• Does not pass inspection or there is any
doubt about its safety.
• Is misused, altered, damaged, exposed to
harmful chemicals, etc.
• Usage history is not known.
Consult the manufacturer if you have any
doubts or concerns.

APLICACION
Safebloc esta diseñado para aplicaciones de
aparejo como una alternativa a un polea tradi-
cional. Este producto no debe de ser cargado
más allá de su calicación de fortaleza, ni
debe de ser usado para ningún otro propósito
cual no sea para el que estuvo diseñado. An-
tes de cada uso, asegure que el Safebloc este
seguramente anclado atreves de una eslinga
de poda conforme. Safebloc no está diseñado
para escalar y en si no este diseñado para el
apoyo de vida.
USO PREVISTO
Solo el cargado mostrado como “OK” es permitido. Siempre verique la posición de su sistema y sus
componentes. El equipo debe de poder alinearse libremente con su carga, y cualquier restricción
es peligrosa.
• NO CONECTE el Safebloc a una eslinga
o cuerda con ojo que tenga algún co-
nectador.
• Safebloc solo puede ser usado con una
eslinga con ojo profesional.
• Asegure que tenga suciente cuerda
para aterrizar su carga sobre una zona de
aterrizaje.
• NO SOBRE ESTIME la fuerza de sus
puntos de anclajes o cuerdas.
• Para posicionar el punto de anclaje con
una detención de caídas segura, debe de
tomar en cuenta la distancia de caída
incluyendo el estiramiento de la cuerda
para que las obstrucciones (como el
suelo) puedan ser seguramente evitadas.
Ninguna responsabilidad puede ser aceptada por Notch Equipment. por danos, lesiones o muertes
resultando del mal uso. Algunos ejemplos de mal uso esta demostrados en las ilustraciones y muchos

compatible y puede ser usado junto dispositi-
vos de descenso como el GRCS (Good Rigging
Control System), Portawrap, Hobbs Device, y
el Rigging Bollard. Es la responsabilidad de
usuario asegurarse que él/ella entienda el uso
correcto y seguro de este producto.

INSPECCIÓN ANTES Y DESPUÉS
DE CADA USO
Inmediatamente antes de usar este producto
debe de leer y entender todas las instruccio-
nes para su uso, hacer una inspección visual
y funcional para asegurar que este producto
este a condiciones servibles y que opere
correctamente. Verique que el producto no
tenga ninguna rajadura, deformación, marcas,
corrosión, etc. Inspección el gasto de la cu-
erda (vea mantenimiento y almacenamiento).
En adición a inspeccionar antes, durante y
después de cada uso, una inspección detal-
lada por un inspector competente debe de
ser hecho por lo menos cada 3 meses o más
seguido dependiendo de la cantidad de uso y
tipo de uso. Agá un copia de estas instruccio-
nes y use una como una carta de inspección
permanente y mantenga la otra con su equipo.
MANTENIMIENTO Y ALMACE-
NAMIENTO
Este producto no es mantenible por el usuario
con el excepto de los siguientes:
Si es necesario, limpie con agua, luego deje
que seque completamente. El producto debe
de ser guardado en un ambiente limpio y seco,
libre de substancias químicas y corrosivas.
Cuidado debe der ser tomado para proteger
contra danos hechos durante tránsito.
Eslingas dañadas o gastadas pueden ser eval-
uadas por Notch Equipment para un remplazo.
Por favor contacte al equipo de Servicio al
Cliente de Notch Equipment para solicitar una
inspección. Solo el Safebloc que pase un in-
spección detallada por parte de Notch Equip-
ment será considerada para un remplazo de
eslinga.
ESPERANZA DE VIDA
Ilimitada para productos de metal pero en
puede ser mucho menos dependiendo las
condiciones y uso frecuenté; puede ser hasta
un solo uso en ciertos casos.
