Folding Shower Seat Range
Intended Use
This wall mounted folding shower seat range, with
legs, is intended to be used in a shower to provide a
stable, seated support, where a user is unable to
stand for long periods (i.e. during showering). It can
be folded up against the wall when not in use. The
seat has a small projection of 90mm (3") when folded,
to suit small modern bath and shower rooms.
Unpacking
Remove the product from it's packaging; Check for
damage, if you see any, or suspect a fault, do not
assemble the product. Contact your supplier
immediately.
Safety Information:
·This Shower Seat must be correctly installed and
maintained
·It is recommended that this product is installed by
a suitably qualified, competent person.
·Only install the product in an area where the
mounting surface is structurally sound.
(Strengthening modifications to the fixing surface
may be required.)
·This product must be secured to the wall using
fasteners which are appropriate to the structural
base material.

·DO NOT install in fibreglass / acrylic shower
enclosures with insufficient stiffness and
strength.
·The maximum load of this product is 173kg
(27st) based on the product being fitted to a
suitable surface using appropriate fixings and
fitted by a competent person.
·Waterproofing is recommended, and all fixings
used should be non rusting. Sealant should be
applied around wall contact points to avoid
water ingress.
·Inspect the product at regular intervals for
wear and damage, do not use if unstable or
the rubber feet are damaged

Fitting and Height Adjustment
1. Identify the correct height and position for the
seat within the shower. IMPORTANT; When
choosing the position, check there are no
concealed electrical cables or pipe work near
to where the fixing holes are to be drilled.
2. Adjust leg extension tubes to the correct
height for the client.
3. With the seat in the down position, 90 degrees
to the wall, and the legs vertical, with the feet
flat and secure to the shower base, mark the
fixing hole positions for the wall mounting
bracket on the wall.
4. Using appropriate, non rusting screws and
fixings, secure the mounting bracket to the
wall.
5. Check the seat can be raised and lowered
without interference, and that the feet are
securely in contact with the shower base.
6. Check seat is firm and secure.
Using the Shower Stool
·Before using, test with both hands, to check
the seat is securely fastened to the wall
·To lower; pull down on the seat edge, do not
lower, or raise, the seat with the legs, as this
may cause damage.
·Ensure both legs are level and in contact with
the shower floor before sitting.
·Sit centrally on the shower seat.
·Raise the seat when not in use.
·Do not stand on the seat.
Care and Use
·Inspect the seat at regular intervals, ensure
the product is stable and rigid.
·Check all fixings are fully tightened and in
good condition.
·Check ferrules monthly for signs of wear.
·The frame & seat may be cleaned using a
non-abrasive cream cleaner or detergent
solution.
