Measurements obtained using the device cannot substitute for the care of a medical professional and cannot be
used to diagnose. However, it is intended to provide patients with continuous information on abdominal fat so
that can manage changes and maintain their abdominal fat rate independently, and to help with diagnosis and

Introduction
Purpose of use
Bello is a product that monitors the size of a passed light signal by projecting the near-infrared light on the
abdomen and performs health care by measuring the body fat of the abdomen.
Alert
This device measures abdominal fat quantitatively by using noninvasive method using LED
Prior to using this product, you should fully understand this manual.
Misuse of the device may result in damage to the device or personal injury, but the company is not
liable for any damages.
Reason of use prohibition
Do not use Bello for users with the following symptoms:
* Children
* Open-up wound
* Sensitive skin
* If there is a metal stent in the area of use
* In case of bioabsorbable implants
* Those who mount implantable medical devices (those who mount medical devices that affect
electromagnetic waves, such as artificial pacemakers, implantable defibrillator, Implantable medical
electric stimulator, implantable electronic dysuria suppressor, etc.)
* In case there is a systemic/local skin disease that can affect the healing process of the wound

* Do not look at LED light sources directly with the naked eye.
* Do not use in the place with children or areas prone to shock.

Bello is a device that measures abdominal fat quantitatively by analyzing the bio-signals using multi-wave
LEDs and calculating the fat rate.

2.1. Matters to be checked before use
2.1.1 When using the product for the first time, please check the following
The user has full control device.
Be sure to fully understand and use the manual before using it.
It is recommended that you carefully read the instructions provided before using them and check the area
of use to use them.
Download the Bello app from your smartphone and proceed with the device and Bluetooth activation
before using it
iOS 10.3 version or higher
When using the product for the first time, please charge it completely before using it.
Do not connect to the main unit if the cable is damaged. It might cause product failure.
For the adaptor, please use the following specifications. (Purchases separately)
- IEC/EN 60950-1 Certified Products
- Class II products
- Rated input: 100-240 V
- Rated output: 5 Vdc, 2 A or more
- Micro 5 PIN USB cable length: 1 m
If possible, please avoid direct exposure to direct sunlight.
Be sure that the cables are connected correctly when charging, and be careful not to shock the product
by connecting it with a wet hand.
Alert
Be cautious to minimize the shock to the product in use.

3. How to use
3.1. How to use product
3.1.1Preparation before using system
•Verify that you have all the quantities per package.
•Check the battery remaining LED and charge it sufficiently before using.
•It is recommended that you carefully read the instructions provided before use, check the area of use,
and do not use it in any areas other than the suggested area.
•To be more accurate, please fully understand the Quick Guide provided other than the manual and the
tutorial provided by the app.
3.1.2Turn on and off the device
•Press the button on the top of the device for more than 2 seconds to turn it on. When the device is
powered on, it indicates "Hi".
(If the battery is not charged, the power may not be turned on
Connect to the charge PORT before use.)
•Press the button for more than 3 seconds to turn off the device.
3.1.33HowtouseapplicationssuchasBelloBLE Pairing, Measurement etc.
•Execute Bello app from Mobile and enter and confirm user information and click the "Next" button to
move to Measurement Preparation step.
•Tap the "Connect" button in the shape of the person's head shown in the app in order to connect the
Bello Device to the app prior to Measurement.

•If the pop-up window for the selection of Bello Device, check Bello Device ID and select the device
to be connected.
•The first time you connect to the selected Bello Device, the pairing process starts, and you can enter
the 6 digits that have been indicated to the Bello Device in the Bello app pop-up window and tap the
"Pair connection" button. (For devices that have already been connected, they are connected directly
without the pairing process)
•When the device is connected, the human-shaped image is lit in orange, the text "SCAN UPPER
FIRST" is displayed at the bottom of the screen, and the message "READY" is checked on the LED
Display of the Bello Device.
•When the measurement is ready, attach the instrument to the upper abdomen and click the
Measurement button at the top of the instrument to make a measurement. (If you click the
Measurement button, the measurement will proceed with a beep sound.)

•Measurements take approximately 3 to 5 seconds and during measurements, the bottom and the first
left app screens are shown to prevent the device from falling off the measurement area.
•When the first measurement is completed, the measurement value will be displayed on the Bello
device, and the "SCAN LOWER SECOND" text will be displayed at the bottom of the app screen as
the check mark is inserted in the upper part of the human-shaped image.
•When the upper part measurement is completed normally, attach the instrument to the lower abdomen
and press the Measurement button to perform the measurement.
•When the upper-lower measurement is completed, the "CALCURATING" pop-up and the "SCAN
COMPLETE" text display at the bottom of the app, showing the result screen approximately 3 to 5
seconds later.

3.2. Precautions for use
•Do not use this product in your eyes or eyelids and do not aim directly at your eyes.
•May cause eye damage when irradiated on the eyeball.
•Since this product is an electronic medical device, electromagnetic interference may affect the
performance of the product. Keep it as far away from other electronic products that may cause
electromagnetic interference while the product is in operation.
•Be cautious any adverse effect accidents caused by the negligence in use.
•Check the health of the intended person.
•Keep out of reach of children.
•Do not burn and discard the battery. It may cause the battery to explode.
•The battery is not replaceable component. Do not disassemble or damage the battery. The released
electrolyte is harmful to the skin, eyes, etc. and may contain toxins.
•This device may not be able to connect with App. in a wireless environment with interference. Use it
in a place where there is no significant interference in surrounding radio waves.
•Please follow "Operations by Fault Symptom" if connection is not smooth

If the power is not ON
• With the power off, press the power switch for more than 10 seconds.
• Check if it is charged.
• If main unit does not work after checking the above, contact your dealer or
A/S center.
In case of measurement
failure
• Hardware
• Press the power switch for more than 3 seconds and check if the power is
turned off.
• Again, press the power switch for more than 2 seconds and make sure it is
turned on.
• When the display LED is "READY" and the power switch is pressed quickly,
check if the measurement LED is lit in yellow.
• If a 'FAIL' message occurs after measurement
- Check that the network status of the mobile phone is properly connected.
- Re-measurement by keeping the Bello Device close to the human body
• If this does not work after checking the above, contact your dealer or
customer center.
In case of charging failure
• When connecting the charger to a device other than the Bello, make sure that
it is properly charged.
• Check if the charging LED is ON when the charger is connected to the Bello.
• If this does not work after checking the above, contact your dealer or
customer center.
If Display LED is not
operated
•Contact your agent or customer center if the display LED is not operated
properly while the power on.
If you can’t hear buzzer
sound
• Conduct Measurement in a quiet place
• Contact your dealer or customer center if:
• Measurement is successful, but no buzz is heard
• Measurement failed and no buzz is heard
If Bello Device and Mobile
App are not connected,
• Press the Measurement button in the 'WAIT' or 'READY' state for 10
seconds.
• Check the 'RESET' message on the display LED.
• Delete the phone's Bluetooth device information.
• Turn on the Bello Device and try to reconnect it.
• If this does not work after checking the above, contact your dealer or
customer center.

6. Overview of Warranty
6.1. Overview
The description of the Free Warranty when the product is operating normally and the
description of the warranty exclusions within the Free Warranty Period
6.2. Free warranty
•In case of normal use and post-service, Olive Healthcare provides the warranty free of charge
for one year from the date of purchase.
•In principle, if a repair request has been made for Free Warranty, it shall be handled promptly
and repair or replaceable at the headquarters of Olive Healthcare Inc.
or the location where the product is installed, depending on the repair parts or processing period
of the product. (Check the availability of repair)
•When requesting a Free Warranty, the user should provide the olive healthcare with materials or
video photos to identify problems with the product.
•In all cases, the responsibility and rights to determine the content and cause of product damage
are at Olive Health Care Co., Ltd. and that judgment cannot be changed to final.
•In order for the Free Warranty to be maintained, the maintenance and modification of the product
must be made by service personnel formally designated by Olive Health Care Co., Ltd. If the
product is not used in accordance with the instructions of this manual, it might be excluded from
free warranty so fully understand the manual.
• In all cases, the responsibility and rights to determine the content and cause of product damage are
at Olive Health Care Co., Ltd. and that judgment cannot be changed to final.

6.3. Warranty exclusions during free warranty period
Failure to comply with the product operating procedures and safety precautions
provided in this manual will result in no free-warranty repair and be cautious the
following items more when using the product.

•Warranty is excluded when the user uses, changes, or disassembles the product other than its
intended purpose.
•Any damage or loss by the user's negligence will be excluded from the warranty.
- Damage caused by main unit disassembly or impact
•Any disassembly or repair of personal equipment other than those certified by Olive Health Care
Co., Ltd. is excluded from warranty.
• The genuine product supplied by the manufacturer shall be used. If it is used with any alterations or
modifications, free or paid repair service might be provided, and we are not responsible for any
legal problems caused by any alterations or modifications.
