open network connection with little space!

All the functionality you want!
With the functionality of this product, which includes a fast and
powerful PLC, a 5.7" touchscreen, and open Network connections,
you are able to configure, debug, monitor and maintain your
complete automation solution. This functionality is incorporated
in a single compact housing! This means a very flexible and
powerful solution in very little space. The NSJ5 is a key part of the
OMRON Smart Platform concept.
All the advantages you want!
This product saves you a lot of space in your panel, because
the PLC units are inside the NSJ5. You don’t need to wire the
connection between the PLC and the screen and you don’t need
a power supply or I/O cards. Just place your remote I/O DeviceNet
units in the field or connect other optional intelligent devices
like servos or temperature controllers. This way you are able
to use a smaller panel that saves you money.
Another big advantage of using the NSJ5 in your automation
solution is the development time saved by making use of our
Smart Active Parts in combination with the connected devices.
With these pre-programmed Smart Active Parts you are able
to present the operator the right information at the right time
about any connected device without programming a single line
in the PLC. This also means reduced downtime of the production
line when there is a problem. You are able to pinpoint the exact
location and cause of the problem and you may even be able
to solve it with the help of the Smart Active Parts. This means
increased production capacity and it will again save you money!

All the features you want!
NSJ5 has many functions like multi language
support, password protection, datalogging
components, alarm events (history), and ftp support.
One of the other powerful features of the NS is
displaying frames. With this function you can create
your own tab-based-multi-page window in a screen
to make the available data more comprehensive for
an operator. Also our Machine Troubleshooter saves
you a lot of development time. With this template
project you can configure your Alarm Management
with standard solution pages, where pictures and
user definable text can be placed to troubleshoot
machine errors.
The NSJ5 is equipped with a CJ1-series PLC with
20k Steps program memory, around 400 instructions
and a very fast CPU. The standard network controller
is a CJ1W-DRM21 DeviceNet master. DeviceNet is an
advanced open network. A variety of I/O devices are
available for DeviceNet such as digital I/O (IP67),
temperature sensor modules, drives and wireless
communication units. An alternative to the DeviceNet
unit is a user defined CAN unit. As standard an
Ethernet interface is provided as well as a CF-card
interface to store data.

ultimate, smart automation solution!
