For a stylish and modern personal audio solution, take a closer look at our CS-245BT Colibrino. This mini system looks and sounds great,
and boasts some handy technology to cue your tunes with the minimum of fuss. Built-in Bluetooth allows wireless streaming from smart
phone, tablet, or personal computer. Plug in an iPod, iPhone, or iPad to the front-panel USB port and use the system remote for track
selection and playback. Cutting no corners, the system includes a front-loading drawer-type CD player—no more scratched discs—and
an FM tuner with 30-station preset memory. Now that there’s no shortage of music to play, you need a system that can handle it. Two big
10 cm cone woofers drive a deep, clear mid-range, while a pair of balanced-dome tweeters pick out and enhance the details. The rounded
cabinets have subtly angled sides to prevent internal standing waves and the boomy sound that can result. Much of the Colibrino’s appeal

Front Panel USB Port for iPod/iPhone/iPad and
Flash Memory Devices
The CS-245BT’s front-panel USB port gives access to MP3
and AAC audio les stored on iPod, iPhone, and iPad. You
can also load up a ash memory drive with these les types
and use the system’s remote controller to play back your
music. As the audio signals are transported in digital form,
rather than analog, there is much less chance for signal
degradation. Your music sounds cleaner and more faithful to
the original.
Bluetooth Streaming at the Touch of a Button
Whether you’re an iPhone or iPad user, an Android fan, or
an owner of a compatible mobile device with Bluetooth
capability, streaming music through your CS-245BT couldn’t
be easier. Just pair the devices and select the track, playlist,
or album of your choice. With aptX® codec and the
improved data transfer capabilities of Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR,
you’ll be delighted with remarkably clear and faithful sound
reproduction.
Efcient Digital Amplier Circuitry for Clean
Audio Signals
The CS-245BT employs digital amplier circuitry to extract
a noise-free signal from digital audio sources. Whether it’s
on a standard CD or in a compressed MP3 le stored on
CD or USB, your music will sound clearer than ever. Because
digital ampliers can convert power with very high levels of
efciency, much less energy is wasted as heat. With no need
for a bulky heat sink, the amplier design can be smaller and
lighter. Hence, the CS-245BT can provide room-lling power
that belies its modest size.
Active Bass Control
At quiet volume levels, human hearing becomes less
sensitive to sounds at the upper and lower ends of the
audible spectrum. To compensate for the perceived loss of
bass sounds at lower volumes, the CS-245BT incorporates
Onkyo’s proprietary Active Bass Control. This function
maintains an optimal balance of low-frequency sounds by
making automatic, real-time adjustments in line with the
playback volume. Listeners are able to enjoy smooth and
natural-sounding bass at any volume level.
Compact Yet Solid Two-Way Speakers
The CS-245BT includes a pair of bass-reex speakers that
incorporate a two-way design with a 10 cm woofer and a
balanced-dome tweeter. The cabinets feature rounded edges
and a front-to-rear taper that helps reduce internal standing
waves and preserves the essence of your music. Compact in
size yet surprisingly robust, these speakers are ideally suited
to small and mid-sized rooms.
