Maintaining your
balance whilst
wearing a boot
Some boots may have a thicker
sole, which results in an
imbalance in height with your
other leg. This can lead to
knee, hip or back pain. The
EVENup is an easy slip-over
sole, which can prevent and
help eliminate your pain.

Your VACOcast Diabetic is a
modern boot that protects your
skin and tissue from damage.
Wearing the boot is essential to
allow your wound to heal.
With this, you are receiving the
best and most recommended1
treatment, which gives you a
high level of comfort at the
same time.
You can wash the liner at 60
degrees. There is a second liner
in the set, which you can use in
the meantime. The second sole
is to have one for inside and
one for outside the house.
Only remove the Boot
on recommendation
It is vital that you stick with the
instructions of your Clinician.
Wearing the VACOcast Diabetic
boot as recommended, will
increase the chances of your
wound to heal respectively
increase the speed of healing.
What are the
Consequences of not
wearing the Boot?
It is vital that you wear the
VACOcast Diabetic boot as
recommended. Not doing
so will lead to your wound
deteriorating.
This can lead to a wound
infection and eventually
escalate to a partial or full
amputation of your lower limb.2
