Generales
1. Esteaparatopuedenutilizarloniñosconedadde 8años
ysuperior ypersonasconcapacidadesfísicas,sensorialeso
mentalesreducidasofaltade experienciayconocimiento,
siseleshadadolasupervisiónoformaciónapropiadas
respectoalusodel aparatode unamanera segura y
comprendenlospeligrosqueimplica.Losniñosnodeben
jugar conelaparato.Lalimpiezayel mantenimientoa
realizar por el usuarionodebenrealizarlolosniñossin
supervisión.
2. Sedeberá supervisar alosniñosparaasegurarsede que
nojueganconesteaparato.
3. PRECAUCIÓN:Para laseguridadde susniñosnodeje
materialde embalaje (bolsasde plástico,cartón,polietileno
etc.)asualcance.

ADVERTENCIA: NOCUBRIR ELAPARATO.Para
evitar el sobrecalentamiento,nunca cubra el
calefactor.

POSICIONYUBICACIÓN
Estaestufaes parauso exterior yque estétechadoexclusivamente. Asegúrese
deque tiene ventilación suficiente
Mantengaunadistanciaprudenteentre laestufa ymateriales combustibles
Recomendado:100cm(superior)y100cm(lateral)mínimo. Laestufadebeser
ubicadaen un suelofirmeyanivel.
Paraproteger laestufadefuertes vientos, asegure labase alsuelocon
tornillos.
CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL GAS
Utilicebutano opropanosolamente. Recomendamos encarecidamenteeluso dePropano, puestoque
dispone deun puntodecongelación másbajo, adecuadoparaaparatos alaire libre. Elregulador yeltubo
degomacon abrazaderasdebenseguirlanormativavigentedecadapaís. Lainstalación debe serbajola
normativalocal.Enausenciadeesta,deberárealizarse según elestándardealmacenamientoyusodelos
Gases Licuados delPetróleo. Unabombonaagrietada,oxidadaoen malestadopuedeser peligrosaydebe
ser comprobadapor el fabricanteosuministrador.Nuncause unabombonacon unaválvulaen mal estado.

TESTDEFUGAS
Lasconexiones degasdelaestufahansidocomprobadaspreviamentepor elfabricanteprevioenvío. Una
comprobación deseguridaddebe ser realizadadurantelainstalación en ellugardeuso paraevitar
aflojamientodepiezasdebidoalenvío. Realizarunasolución jabonosaunapartedeaguayunapartede
jabón. Lasolución jabonosapuedeser aplicadacon un pulverizador, uncepillooun trapo.Aparecerán
burbujasdejabón en caso defuga.Laestufa debeser comprobadacon unabombonallena.Asegúrese que
el mandoestáen posición deapagado. Abrirel paso degasdel regulador.Encaso defugacierre el paso de
gasdelregulador. Aprietelasconexiones con lasabrazaderascorrespondientes. Volver aabrirelpaso de
gasparacomprobardenuevo. Repetirhastaque desaparezcalafuga.Nofumarduranteel test defugas.
USOYALMACENAMIENTO
1.PUESTAENMARCHA
1. Abrirel paso degasdel regulador delabombona
2.Presione ygire el mandodecontrol hastalaposición PILOTO (90º en sentidoanti horario).
3.Presionarhastaelfondoelmandodecontrolymantenerdurante60segundos. Pulse elbotón ignición al
mismotiempo que mantiene presionadoelmandohastaoirelclic,repitalaoperación hastaencender la
llamapiloto. Nota:Siseacabadecambiarlabombona,mantengaapretadoelmandodecontrolen la
posición PILOT al menos duranteun minutoparapurgarel aire en los conductos degas.
El mandodecontrol puedesoltarse después deencenderse lallamapiloto.
Si lallamapilotono se enciendeose apaga,repetirel paso 3.
4.Después deencender lallamapiloto, gire elmandodecontrolhastalaposición demáximoymantener
durante5minutos omásantes degirarel mandodecontrol hastalaposición detemperaturadeseada
2. APAGARLAESTUFA
1. Gire el mandodecontrol hastalaposición PILOTO.
2.Presionarygirarel mandodecontrol hastalaposición deapagado.

3.CERRAR ELPASO DE GASDELREGULADOR DE LA BOMBONA
LIMPIEZAYMANTENIMIENTO
Limpiarelpolvodelassuperficies con un trapopocoagresivo. Noutiliceproductos delimpiezacorrosivos
oinflamables.

PIEZAS ENSAMBLAJE
PROCESO DEMONTAJE
1. Paraproteger laestufa del fuerteviento, anclelabase
con seguridad asuelocontornillos. Delelavueltaala
base, coloque los anclajesdesuelloEE en labase con los
tornillos M6X10 ylasarandelasBB comomuestrael
dibujo1.Asegure los conlastuercasM6.Después delela
vueltaalabase.
2. Montelacarcasadelabotella.Use 4tornillos M5X10
paraatornillarlacarcasadelabotellaalabase.

3. Montelaunidad calentadora.Situe launidadDsobre
lacarcasadelabotellayatornillelacon 4tornillos
M5X10 paramontarel quemador sobre lacarcasade
labombona.
4. MontajelamallaC. Asegurelacon alaunidad
calentadoracon 3tornillos M5X10.
5. Coloque larejillaprotectorasuperior Bsobre launidad
calentadoradirectamente.

6. MontajedelReflector. Atornillelos tacos CC en la
partesuperiordelamallaycoloqueunaarandela
BB enlapartesuperiordecadataco. Coloque el
reflector en los tacos yasegúrelocon lastuercas
demariposaAA.
7. Conecteel tubo del gasal regulador yajusteloconlas
abrazaderas. Después conecteel regulador alabotella.
¡ATENCIÓN!Asegúrese deque eltubo no estáencontacto
con unasuperficieaaltatemperatura,yaque podría
fundirse yocasionarun incendio.
Despuésdecolocarlabotellaen sulugar,colóqueleel
cinturón paraevitarque se caiga.
8. Pruebadefugas. Tiene que hacerse antes del primer
uso, anualmenteycuandoremplacealgún
componenteen referenciaal gascomolamanguerao
regulador. Nofumemientrasestérealizandoestetest
yquitetodaslasfuentes deignición cercanas. Coloque
el mandodel quemador en posición OFF. Abrala
válvuladel regulador degas. Con unasolución demitad ymitad deaguayjabón frotetodaslasjuntas,
conexiones del regulador,manguera,mandos yválvulas. Si aparecen burbujasseráporque hayuna
fugadegas. Aprietebientodaslasconexiones ocambielapiezaen el casodeque estéen mal estado.
Enel caso que no puedaparalafugadegas, cierreinmediatamentelaválvuladegasyconsulteal
serviciotécnico. Noutilicelaestufa hastaque no se hayasolucionadolafugadegas.

Neverreplaceor substitutetheregulatorwith any
regulator otherthanthefactory-suggested replacement.
Do notstoreor usegasolineor otherflammable vaporsor
liquids intheheaterunit.
Thewhole gassystem,hose, regulator,pilotor burner
should be inspected for leaks or damagebefore
use, andat leastannually by aqualified serviceperson.
All leak testsshould bedonewithasoapsolution.Never
useanopenflametocheckfor leaks.
Do notusetheheateruntil allconnectionshavebeenleak
tested.
Turnoff thegasvalveimmediatelyif smell ofgasis

Anyguardor otherprotectivedeviceremoved for servicing
theheatermustbe replaced beforeoperatingtheheater.
Adultsandchildrenshould stayawayfromhigh
temperaturesurfacetoavoid burnsor clothingignition.
Childrenshould be carefullysupervised whentheyarein
theareaoftheheater.
Clothingor otherflammable materialsshould notbe hung
ontheheateror placed onor neartheheater.
Tochange thegas cylinderinaamplyventilated area,away

shall be shutoff andtheapplianceshall be investigated
andrectified beforeit isused again;
Tocheck thehoseatleastoncepermonth eachtimethe
cylinderis changed or eachtimebeforelongtimenouse.
If itshows signsofcracking,splittingorotherdeterioration
itshall be exchanged for newhoseofthesamelengthand
ofthe
equivalent quality;
Theuseofthisapplianceinenclosed areascanbe
dangerous and is PROHIBITED;
Readtheinstructionsbeforeusingthisappliance.The
appliancemustbe installed inaccordancewiththe
instructionsand
localregulations.
HEATER STAND ANDLOCATION
The heater isprimarilyforoutdoor use only.Alwaysensure that adequate
fresh airventilation isprovided.
Alwaysmaintainproperclearancetonon protectedcombustiblematerials
i.e. top 100cm and sides 100cm minimum.
Heater must be placed onlevel firm ground.
Never operateheaterinanexplosive atmosphere likeinareaswhere
gasoline or other flammableliquidsor vapors are stored.
Toprotectheater fromstrongwind,anchor the base securelytotheground
withscrews.
GAS REQUIREMENTS
Use propane, butane ortheirmixtures gasonly.We stronglyrecommendtouse propane, becauseit hasa
lower freezingpoint,suitabletobeoutdoor. Thepressureregulatorandhose assemblytobe usedmust

conformtolocalstandardcodes. Theinstallationmustconformtolocalcodes, orinthe absenceoflocal
codes, withthe standardfor the storageandhandlingofliquid petroleumgases. Adented,rustedor
damagedtankmaybehazardous andshould becheckedbyyourtanksupplier. Neveruseatankwitha
damaged valve connection.
LEAKAGETEST
Gasconnections on the heater are leak testedatthe factoryprior toshipment.Acompletegastightness
checkmustbe performedatthe installation sitedue topossiblemishandlinginshipmentor excessive
pressure beingappliedtothe heater. Makeasoapsolution ofone partliquid detergentandone partwater.
The soapsolution canbeappliedwithaspraybottle, brush or rag.Soapbubbles will appearincase ofa
leak.The heater mustbecheckedwithafull cylinder. Makesure the safetycontrolvalve isinthe OFF
position. Turn the gassupplyON.Incase ofaleak,turn off the gassupply.Tighten anyleaking fittings, then
turn the gassupplyon and recheck.Never leak test whilesmoking.
OPERATION ANDSTORAGE
TOTURNONTHEHEATER
1.Turn on the valve on the gassupplycylinder completely.
2.Press and turn the variablecontrol knob toPILOT position (counter-clockwise 90º).
3.Press downthe variablecontrol knob and hold for 60seconds. Whileholding downthe variablecontrol
knob, press the igniter button several times until pilot flamelights. Releasethe variablecontrol knob after
the pilot flamelights. Note: Ifanewtankhasjustbeen connected,please allowat least one minutefor the
airinthe gaspipeline topurgeout throughthe pilot hole. Variablecontrolknob canbe releasedafter the
pilot flamelights. Ifthe pilot flamedoes not light or it goes out,repeat step3.
4.After the pilot flamelights, turn the variablecontrol knob tomaximumposition and leave it therefor 5
minutes or more before turning the knob todesired temperature position.
Warning: check thatnobroken ontheglass isfoundbefore operation
TOTURNOFF THEHEATER
1.Turn the variablecontrol knob toPILOT position.
2.Press and turn the variablecontrol knob toOFF position
Off:Turn off.
Max:Maximum temperature
Min: Minimum temperature
3.TURN OFF THEVALVE ON THE GASSUPPLYCYLINDER COMPLETELY.

CLEANING ANDCARE
Wipe off powder coatedsurfaces withsoft,moistrag.Donotcleanheater withcleaners thatare
combustibleor corrosive.
Remove debrisfrom the burner tokeep it cleanand safefor use.
Cover the burner unit withthe optional protectivecover when the heater isnot inuse.
