Safety information
1.1. Explanation of symbols
Safety information is indicated in the text by a warning triangle and a grey
background.
Signal words indicate the degree of danger that will result, unless actions to
reduce damage are taken.
Caution indicates that minor property damage may result.
Warning indicates that minor bodily injury or major property damage may
result.
Danger indicates that serious bodily injury may result. In particularly
serious incidents, loss of life may result.
Notes are indicated in the text by the adjoining icon. They are set off by
horizontal lines above and below the text.
Notes provide important information about incidents that involve no risk to
persons or equipment.
1.2. General safety information
Caution:
The Orderman dual charger does not contain any parts to be serviced by
the user and therefore must not be opened. If opened, the warranty is
rendered null and void.
Do not expose the unit to extreme weather conditions such as rain, hail,
strong sunlight or snow. In case of damage, the unit must be examined by
customer service for possible faults.
The device could suffer damage from a heavy mechanical load such as
twisting or falling.
Warning:
Do not short-circuit the dual charger under any circumstances.

1.3. Safety information for battery pack
Warning:
Only use the Orderman battery model.
Do not subject the battery to extreme heat. Never short-circuit the contacts
since there is an explosion hazard.
1.4. Maintenance
To clean the housing of the unit, use a soft cloth moistened in a mild
solution of cleaning agent and water. Make sure liquids do not get into the
battery slots.
Do not use compressed air to clean the unit or its components.
Never use turpentine, thinners or other volatile agents to clean the unit; do
not use compressed air to remove dust.
Keep the charging contacts for the dual charger and the batteries clean and
free of dirt or grime. Dirt or grime can lead to corrosion and generate
unintended heat.

1. Startup
Connect the dual charger as shown above. The output voltage for the
power supply is 5V. (Output of power supply 5V). Only use the Orderman
power supply.
Once the dual charger is connected to power, the self-test will begin. Both
LEDs on the device will flash red briefly and then green. If the self-test is
successful, both LEDs switch off.
If one or both LED(s) continues to flash after you have connected the
power supply, a malfunction has occurred in one or both charging slots.
Please contact our customer service.
Do not place the power supply and dual charger in direct sunlight.
For ventilation, make sure that you do not cover the power supply and dual
charger.

2. Charging the battery pack
Insert the batteries in the charger as shown above.
You can charge one unit individually or both units in parallel.
The recharging time is approx. 5 hours and 30 minutes.

Flashing orange Charging interrupted briefly

Safety information for battery pack
The handheld runs on a lithium ion battery. Observe the following instructions for
safe handling:
a. Improper use of lithium ion batteries (cutting, breaking, overheating) can
cause the batteries to explode or start fires.
b. Lithium ion batteries contain flammable and/or corrosive solutions and lithium
salts. In the event of leakage, these can lead to irritation of the skin, eyes and
mucous membranes.
c. If lithium ion batteries are defective/damaged, the escaping vapors may pose
a risk to health. Use only an original Orderman battery pack. When using a
battery that is not compatible with the model, there is a risk of explosion.
d. Charge the battery only in the Sol dual charger provided.
e. Use only the original Orderman power supply for the Sol dual charger.
f. In case of significant damage to the battery, replace it immediately.
g. Do not expose the battery to excessive heat, open flame or corrosive liquids.
h. Never short-circuit the contacts since there is an explosion hazard.
i. Charging temperature 0-35° C (ambient temperature)
Note: Lithium ion batteries must be disposed of in line with valid disposal
guidelines. If a lithium ion battery to mechanical damage (breakage, cracking,
etc.), this be disposed of as hazardous waste (local guidelines).
