IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Keep carefully in case it is needed!
This electric warming jacket is a high-quality product designed to last for many years if it is properly used and
cared for. Read the following instructions carefully to prevent damage or danger from incorrect use. Keep the
instructions so that you can refer back to individual points when necessary.
If you let somebody else use the blanket, you must be sure to let it have the instruction on use.
This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
zPlease read carefully and follow the instructions.
zUse the device only as an electric warming jacket.
zOnly connect to the voltage shown on the rating plate.
zThe heating pad must not be used when folded or crumpled.
zDo not use the heating pad for persons who cannot move without help, small children,
persons who cannot feel heat, or animals. Persons who can feel heat to some extent
may only use the blanket with supervision.
zDo not operate the heating pad unsupervised.
zCaution! Never fall asleep while the heating pad is in operation.
zProlonged use can cause burns or the skin.
zDo not prick it with needles or other sharp objects.
zDo not tug or twist the power lead
zDo not pierce the appliance with needles or pins.
zDo not expose the switch or power lead to moisture or liquids.
zThe manufacturer or similar qualified persons must replace if the cord is damaged, in order
to avoid a hazard.
zDo not use the appliance when it is damp or wet.
zThe device may not be switched on using a time switch.
zThe appliance should never used while folded
zThe switch should not be placed on or beneath the appliance or be covered when the
appliance is in use.
zAvoid sharp bending or bundling of the appliance.
zWhile the appliance is switched on,
-Do not place any large or heavy objects on it such as suitcases, etc.,
-Do not place ay source of heat on it such as hot water bottles, heating pads or such like
-Do not allow the switch to be concealed under blankets, pillows or the like and lie on the electric
mattress heater.
zDo not fold the pad when hot.
zPlease check the pad and power lead frequently to look for signs of wear or damage. If you find
evidence of wear or a defect, or the blanket has been used incorrectly, return it to us for checking and
if need any necessary repairs.
zWhen the appliance is not in use, the plug should be removed from the mains and the appliance
should be stored dry, without additional weight on it.
zThis appliance is not to be used by young children unless the controls have been preset by a parent
or guardian or the child has been instructed and how to operate safely.

SWITCHING ON
Please always ensure that the heating pad is not bundled or folded when it is in use. Always use the
heating pad with the cloth cover, even if you are using essential oils or ointments; this is necessary to
avoid damage to the synthetic cover. On initial use the heating pad may smell of synthetic material.
However, this odor will disappear after a short while.
