IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When usin electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed,
includin the followin :
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
• Unplug cord from outlet when not in use or efore cleaning.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or motor ase in
water or any other liquids.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of ta le or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Never leave appliance unattended when in use.
• Close supervision is necessary when used y or near children.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands and utensils out of jar while lending to prevent
personal injury or damage to the lender. A ru er spatula may e used only when the lender
is not running.
• The lade is sharp. Handle with care.
• To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assem ly lades on ase without jar properly
attached.
• Always put the lid on the jar efore operating the lender.
• Do not lend oiling liquids in the lender.
• When lending hot liquids eware of steam. Remove the filler cap from the lid to allow steam
to escape.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions
or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest Authorized
Sun eam Appliance Service Center for examination, repair or electrical mechanical adjustment.
• Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes; this appliance is for household use only.
• Always operate on a flat surface.
• Unplug the lender when not in use, efore taking off or putting on parts and efore cleaning.
• Use this appliance for its intended use as descri ed in this manual. The use of attachments not
made y the manufacturer, including canning or ordinary jar and processing assem ly parts,
is not recommended y Sun eam Products, Inc. and may cause injury.
THIS PRODUCT IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
The maximum rating marked on the product is ased on the attachment that draws
the greatest load. Other attachments may draw less power.
POWER CORD INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow the instructions elow to ensure the safe use of the power cord.
• This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug. This type of plug has one lade
that is wider than the other. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
This is a safety feature intended to help reduce the risk of electrical shock. If you are
una le to insert the plug into the outlet, contact a qualified electrician to replace the
o solete outlet. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug
y modifying the plug in any way.
• You may use an extension cord, if necessary, ut e certain to follow these guidelines:
– The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must e at least 120/127 Volt,
60 Hz, 10A.
–
The extension must e arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or
ta letop, will not e within the reach of children, and will not e tripped over.
– Do not pull, twist or otherwise a use the power cord.

5. Place threaded jar nut over lade and jar. Place
the threaded jar nut on jar and turn it clockwise
to tighten. (Figure 4)
6. Place jar assem ly onto ase. (Figure 5)
7. Make sure jar is seated into position.
8. Place ingredients into jar.
9. Place lid with filler cap on jar.
10. Plug the power cord into a 120 Volt
AC electrical outlet.
11. Slide switch to HIGH or LOW.
12. Push desired speed and lend ingredients
to desired consistency.
13. Press OFF to stop the lender.
14. To use PULSE, select HIGH or LOW. Push
PULSE and hold down for desired length of
time. Release PULSE and allow lade to stop.
Repeat cycle as desired.

USING YOUR BLENDER
1. Clean lender according to the instructions in the “Cleaning and Storing
Your Blender” section.
2. Turn jar upside down so the small opening is at the top. (Figure 1)
3. Place sealing ring over jar opening. (Figure 2)
4. Place lade into jar. (Figure 3)

BLENDING TIPS
• Put liquids in the jar first, unless a recipe says otherwise.
• Crushing ice: Crush 6 ice cu es or approximately
2 cups of ice at a time.
• Do not remove the lid while in use. Remove Filler
Cap to add smaller ingredients. (Figure 6)
• Cut all firm fruits and vegeta les, cooked meats,
fish and seafood into pieces no larger than 3/4 inch
(1.8 cm) to 1 inch (2.5 cm). Cut all kinds of cheeses
into pieces no larger than 3/4 inch (1.8 cm).
• This lender will not mash potatoes, whip egg whites
or su stitute dairy toppings, mix stiff dough or grind
raw meat.
HOT FOODS
• Open the Filler Cap to vent steam. Tilt Filler Cap away from you. Keep hands
away from the cover opening to prevent possi le urns.
• When working with hot liquids, remove Filler Cap and start lending at a low speed.
Then move to a faster speed. DO NOT add liquid over the 4 cup (1 liter) level.
CLEANING AND STORING YOUR BLENDER
IMPORTANT: UNPLUG BEFORE CLEANING. DO NOT IMMERSE THE
BLENDER BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Use a damp, soft sponge
with mild detergent to clean the outside of the lender ase. All parts except for the
lender ase are dishwasher-safe. Place sealing ring in ottom asket of dishwasher.
You can also wash the parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry.
STORING YOUR BLENDER
After cleaning, reassem le lade to jar with sealing ring and jar ottom. Store lender
with cover ajar to prevent container odor.

1-Year Limited Warranty
Sun eam Products, Inc. doing usiness as Jarden Consumer Solutions or if in Canada, Sun eam
Corporation (Canada) Limited doing usiness as Jarden Consumer Solutions (collectively “JCS”)
warrants that for a period of one year from the date of purchase, this product will e free from
defects in material and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any
component of the product found to e defective during the warranty period. Replacement will e
made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer availa le,
replacement may e made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive
warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this
product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and
is not transfera le. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to o tain
warranty performance. JCS dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not
have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use
contrary to the operating instructions, disassem ly, repair or alteration y anyone other than JCS
or an authorized JCS service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as
fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCS shall not e lia le for any incidental or consequential damages caused y the reach of any
express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohi ited y applica le law, any implied warranty or condition of
merchanta ility or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the
a ove warranty.
JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or
otherwise.
JCS shall not e lia le for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of,
or ina ility to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or
loss of profits, or for any reach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim rought
against purchaser y any other party.
Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the a ove
limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from
province to province, state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

PRECAUCIONES IMPORTANTES
Al usar electrodomésticos, deben se uirse precauciones básicas de se uridad,

INSTRUCCIONES SOBRE EL CABLE ALIMENTACIÓN
Siga las instrucciones que aparecen a continuación para asegurar el uso seguro del
ca le de corriente.
• Este electrodoméstico está equipado con un enchufe polarizado. Este tipo de
enchufe tiene una clavija que es más ancha que la otra. Este enchufe encajará
en un tomacorriente polarizado en un solo sentido. Esta es una característica
de seguridad con el fin de ayudar a reducir el riesgo de choques eléctricos.
Si no puede introducir el enchufe en el tomacorriente, póngase en contacto
con un electricista calificado para que cam ie el tomacorriente o soleto.
No intente modificar el enchufe de ningún modo para eliminar el propósito

USO DE SULICUADORA
1. Limpie la licuadora según las instrucciones en la sección “Limpieza y
Almacenaje de su Licuadora”.
2. Gire el vaso al revés de modo que la a ertura pequeña esté en la parte alta.
(Figura 1)
3. Ponga el anillo sellador so re la a ertura del vaso. (Figura 2)
4. Coloque la cuchilla en el vaso. (Figura 3)

5. Junte hasta tra er el disco de fondo roscado con
el aro. Coloque el aro so re la cuchilla y el vaso.
Coloque el aro so re el vaso y gire el disco con
fondo roscado en sentido horario para apretar.

6. Ponga el conjunto del vaso so re la ase.
(Figura 5)
7. Asegúrese que el vaso se asiente en posición.
8. Coloque los ingredientes en el vaso.
9. Coloque la tapa con la copa de acceso en el vaso.
10. Enchufe el cordón de alimentación en un
tomacorriente de 120 volts CA.
11. Deslice el interruptor a ALTO o BAJO.
12. Empuje la velocidad deseada y licue los
ingredientes a la consistencia deseada.
13. Presione APAGAR para parar la licuadora.
14. Para utilizar PULSO, seleccione ALTO o BAJO.
Presione PULSO y reténgalo a ajo por la longitud
deseada de tiempo. Li ere PULSO y permita que
la cuchilla se detenga. Repita el ciclo según lo
deseado.
