Cleaning
• Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean at all times to ensure
efcient operation.
• After each use, blow it with compressed air at low pressure through the
machine housing to ensure it is free from all dust, dirt, etc. Build up of dust or
dirt particles may cause the machine to overheat and shorten the life of the
machine.
• If the housing of the machine requires cleaning, do not use solvents. Use of a
soft cloth and brush only is recommended.
• Never allow any liquid to get inside the machine, never immerse any part of
the machine into liquid or clean the scarier with running water, particularly
with high-pressure water.
Maintenance
• A worn out or damaged roller blade should be replaced by an authorised
expert.
• Take care that all fastening elements (screws, nuts, etc.) are rmly tightened,
so that you can work safely with the scarier.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Storage
• When not in use, the machine should be stored in a dry, frost free location,
keep out of children’s reach.
• Store the equipment and its accessories in a dark and dry place at above
freezing temperature. The ideal storage temperature is between 5°C and
30°C.
• Remove the batteries and safety key from the scarier when in storage.
• Allow the motor to cool before you put
the equipment in an enclosed area.
• The handle has a Pposition in order to
take up less space during storage. To
adopt this position you must loosen the
quick-release levers by approx. 3 turns
to allow for the higher parking position.
With the handle in this position, the
scarier can be stood in a corner in
minimum space. When you return the
handle to the working position, remember
to tighten the quick-release levers again
by 3 turns!
Transport
• Switch the machine off and remove both batteries and safety key before
transporting it.
• Set the depth adjustment lever to +3 transport position.
• For easier transport and/or storage, open the quick-release levers enough
to allow the handle to be ipped together at these points. Take care not to
damage the cable and the handle tubes.
• Protect the machine from damage and the strong vibrations that can occur
particularly when transporting in vehicles.
• Secure the machine against slipping and tipping over.
Note: Ozito Industries will not be responsible for any damage or injuries
caused by the repair of the scarier by an unauthorised person or by
mishandling of the scarier. This machine is designed for
DIY use - use in commercial or industrial environments will void the warranty.
