2.2. Newlow-noise outdoor units
[Productfeatures]
2.2.1. Low-noise design improves insurrounding areas
1. Thenoise-suppressing winglet fanisaresultofnewresearch
intovanedesign theory. Theuniquecurvedshapesuppresses the
generation ofvortexes, thusreduces airflownoise.
2. Theadoption ofdouble-orifice ringsreduces airpassage
resistance.
3. Strengthening ofthenoise insulation materialsinthe
compressor and thesealing-inofmechanical noise allows
vibration noise tobegreatlyenclosedand suppressed.
4. Theheat exchangerhas anL-shapeddesign toallowairtoflow
moresmoothly.
5. Noise isautomaticallyreducedfurtherduring nighttime
operation withloweroutdoor airtemperatures.
2.2.2. Automaticrestartfunction
Whenthe electric powerresumes aftera powerfailure, the unitwill automaticallyrestarts the
operation inthe pre-failure mode.
2.2.3. Lowambientcooling operation
Cooling operation is possible atoutdoortemperature of -5~C.
2.3. Greatlyimprovedworkabilityincreases systemrenewal
capability
2.3.1. Pipes that areonesizelarger canalsobeconnectedfor renewal
-Ifrenewing thesystem, existing refrigerantpipes canbeutilizedso
that onlytheindoor units needtobereplaced.
-For example, liquidand gas pipes from 10 yearsago canbe
connectedtocurrentpipes withthesamesizefor onesizelarger.
Effectiveutilization ofmaterialsreduces working timeand trouble.
(Adaptor sockets arenotsupplied.)
2.3.2. Additional refrigerantcharging unnecessaryfor 30 m
-All modelsdo notrequireanyadditional charging ofrefrigerantfor
30 mofpipelength. Thismakes installation mucheasier.
2.3.3. Drainwater dripping-prevention structure
-Thebase oftheoutdoor unitisprovidedwithasingledrainholein
ordertopreventdrainwaterfrom leaking outoftheunit. Body
connecting adrainelbowand adischargepipe, waterleakages
canbepreventedevenwhentheunitisinstalledagainst awall.
2.3.4. Space saving design allowsunits tobeinstalledsidebysidecontinuously
-Servicing afterinstallation canbecarriedoutbyremoving thefront
covers.
2.3.5. Easytest operation
-Test operation canbecarriedoutfor bothindoor and outdoor
units.
2.3.6. Long pipedesign
Max piping length: 50 (m) 24BB~50BB
Height difference/
equivalent pipe length 30/50
2.3.7. Internal pipeconnection
-Pipes areconnectedinsidetheunits (insidethesidecovers),
making thefinal appearance moreattractive.
-Pipes canbedivertedoutward inanyoffour directions(forward,
right, down, rear).
-Small liquidpipediametersof9.52mm for 43BB and 50BB models,
making installation workmucheasier.
Liquid-side pipe diameters (mm) :9.52 (43BB~50BB / models)
2.3.8. Centralizeddraining method
-Evenwhenmultipleoutdoor units areinstalledtoawall, thedrain
outlets canbeconcentratedintoasingledrainpipe. Thismakes
installation easierand alsoimproveappearance.
2.4. Abrand-newcontrol method using thelatest intechnology
2.4.1. Power supplywiring isalsoeasier
Powersupplywiring and otherwiring tasks canbe carriedout more easily.
-Twinnon-polarwires usedtoconnect indoor and outdoor units.
-Adoption ofconnection error prevention circuits for drives wires
and signal wires. Ifaconnection error ismade, therelaydoes not
operate and currentdoes notflowtothecircuitboards.
2.4.2. Separate indoor/outdoor unitpower supplies
The powersupplycanbe connectedto (1)justthe outdoorunits, or(2)to both indoorand
outdoorunits.
2.4.3. Automaticsetting initialization function (Remote control and Indoor unit)
Inaccordance with the indoorand outdoorunits connectedand the connection methods,
conditions suchas the configuration (twinortriple format) and remote-control functions such
