Preventing accidents
Never use this appliance near electronic medical devices or home
electrical therapy devices such as the following:
• Pacemakers and other electronic medical devices implanted in the
body
• Heart-lung machines and other life-supporting electronic medical
devices
• Wearable electronic medical devices, such as electrocardiographs
and intravenous drip equipment

• When there are abnormalities on the skin such as dermatitis or
extreme sunburns
• Body parts where epilation was performed on the same day or where
surgery (plastic, cosmetic, etc.) has been performed
• Throat

Do not use the appliance on the following body area:
• Eyelids
- Doing so may cause eye problems.
Do not use the COOLING mode when the ambient temperature is
below 15 °C.
- Doing so may cause the IONIC head to stick to the skin thus result in
injury to the skin.
The following individuals must consult a physician prior to use:
• Individuals with serious disease
• Individuals with acute disease
• Individuals with febrile disease
• Individuals with infectious disease
• Individuals with malignant tumors
• Individuals with disturbance of perception due to a high degree of
peripheral circulatory failure such as diabetes.
- Failure to do so may cause accidents or physical discomfort.
If you feel pain or abnormality on your skin or other part of your body,
immediately stop using this product.
- Failure to do so may cause accidents or skin/ physical trouble.

WARNING
This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
- Failure to do so may cause an accident or injury.
Power supply
Do not connect or disconnect the AC adaptor to or from a household
outlet with a wet hand.
- Doing so may cause electric shock and injury.
Do not immerse the main body and AC adaptor in water or wash them
with water.
Do not use or store the appliance in a bathroom or location with high
humidity. Also, do not place it in a location where water may spill (such
as top of a sink).
- Doing so may cause electric shock or re.
Never use the appliance if the AC adaptor is damaged or if the power
plug ts loosely in a household outlet.
Do not damage, modify, forcefully bend, pull or twist the cord or the
power plug.
Also, do not place anything heavy on or pinch the cord or the power
plug.
- Doing so may cause electric shock or re due to a short circuit.
Do not use the appliance in a way exceeding the rating of the
household outlet or the wiring.
- Exceeding the rating by connecting too many plugs to one household
outlet may cause re due to overheating.
Do not use anything other than the supplied AC adaptor for any purpose
(See page 13.). Also, do not use any other product with the supplied
AC adaptor.
- Doing so may cause burns or re due to a short circuit.
The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the AC
adaptor should be scrapped.
- Failure to do so may cause an accident and injury.
Always ensure the appliance is operated on an electric power source
matched to the rated voltage indicated on the AC adaptor.
Fully insert the adaptor or appliance plug.
- Failure to do so may cause electric shock or re.

Always unplug the adaptor from a household outlet when cleaning.

Regularly clean the power plug and the appliance plug to prevent dust
from accumulating.
- Failure to do so may cause re due to insulation failure caused by
humidity.
→Disconnect the adaptor and wipe it with a dry cloth.
In case of an abnormality or malfunction
Immediately stop using and remove the adaptor if there is an
abnormality or malfunction.
- Failure to do so may cause re, electric shock, or injury.
<Abnormality or malfunction cases>
• The main body, adaptor or cord is deformed or abnormally hot.
• The main body, adaptor or cord smells of burning.
• There is abnormal sound from the main body, adaptor or cord during
use or charging.
→ Immediately request inspection or repair at an authorized service
center.
CAUTION
Power supply
Do not allow metal objects or trash to adhere to the power plug or the
appliance plug.
- Doing so may cause electric shock or re due to a short circuit.
Do not wind the cord around the adaptor for storage.
- Doing so may cause the wire in the cord to break with the load, and
may cause re due to a short circuit.
Disconnect the adaptor or the appliance plug by holding onto the
adaptor or the appliance plug instead of the cord.
- Disconnecting by holding onto the cord may cause electric shock or
injury.
Disconnect the adaptor from the household outlet when not charging.
- Failure to do so may cause electric shock or re due to electrical
leakage resulting from insulation deterioration.

Do not drop the appliance or subject it to shock.
- Doing so may cause injury.
Do not use the appliance continuously for an extended period on the
same area.
- Doing so may cause injury to the skin, infection, inammation,
bleeding, pigmentation disorder or other troubles, or worsening of
such symptoms.
Before using, check that the sensing head is free from cracks, nicks,
deformities, and other damage.
- Failure to do so may cause injury to the skin.
Use only for care of the face, neck and chest.
(Except the skin allergy test on the arm before the rst use)
- Failure to do so may cause injury or inammation of the skin.
Handling of the removed battery when disposing
DANGER
• The rechargeable battery is exclusively for use with this appliance. Do
not use the battery with other products.
• Do not charge the battery after it has been removed from the product.
• Do not throw into re or apply heat.
• Do not hit, disassemble, modify, or puncture with a nail.
• Do not let the positive and negative terminals of the battery get in
contact with each other through metallic objects.
• Do not carry or store the battery together with metallic jewellery such
as necklaces and hairpins.
• Do not use or leave the battery where it will be exposed to high
temperatures, such as under direct sunlight or near other sources of
heat.
• Never peel off the tube.
- Doing so may cause overheating, ignition, or explosion.

After removing the rechargeable battery, do not keep it within reach of
children and infants.
- The battery will harm the body if accidentally swallowed.
If this happens, consult a physician immediately.
If the battery uid leaks out and comes in contact with the eyes, do not
rub the eyes, and thoroughly rinse with clean water, such as tap water.
- Failure to do so may cause eye injury.
Consult a physician immediately.
CAUTION
If the battery uid leaks out and comes in contact with the skin or
clothes, rinse off with clean water, such as tap water.
- Failure to do so may cause inammation.
• Charge the appliance correctly according to these Operating Instructions.

• This appliance contains battery that is only replaceable by skilled persons.
Please contact an authorized service center for the details of repair.
The following symbol indicates that a specic detachable power supply unit
is required for connecting the electrical appliance to the supply mains. The
type reference of power supply unit is marked near the symbol.
Before use
Usage

Before use, a skin allergy test is required.

• This quick test checks for any potential skin issues
before you begin using the appliance normally.
Use the appliance on bare skin (after removing makeup
and cleansing the face).
Observe the skin condition while using the appliance.
• Once any problem is found with the skin, immediately
stop using the appliance and consult a physician.

Ion level /
Temperature
Select the desired ion level and temperature according
to the skin condition and personal preference.
• For the rst use or if any skin discomfort occurs, it is
recommended to set the ion level to "LOW" and the
temperature to "LOW" before use.
• The PRECARE/COOLING modes do not have the
adjustment functions for the ion and temperature level.
(The ion level and temperature cannot be selected.)
Accessories Before use, remove earrings or any other jewellery from
the face or around the neck.
Skin detection

Hold the main body tightly so that
your palm fully comes into contact
with the ion inductive panel on its
back. When the IONIC head senses
the contact with the skin, it will
automatically vibrate.
• While the IONIC head is vibrating,
none of the switches is available.
There may be a slight noise, which
is not a malfunction.
• If the IONIC head does not vibrate, there is no ion
effect.
• Skin detection and vibration are not available during
AUTO mode cooling or COOLING mode. (Only cooling
for the IONIC head)
• The appliance will automatically turn off if you do not
touch the ion inductive panel or apply the IONIC head
to the skin for approximately 20 seconds.
(Except during AUTO mode cooling or COOLING
mode)
Vibration of the
PRECARE
head
The PRECARE head starts vibrating once it comes in full
contact with the skin rmly.
• While the PRECARE head is vibrating, none of the
switches is available. There may be a slight noise,
which is not a malfunction.
• The appliance will automatically turn off if you
do not apply the PRECARE head to the skin for
approximately 20 seconds.

Recommended treatment (With recommended skin care products)

•The power turns off automatically after each mode is completed.
•Use the MOISTURIZING/AUTO mode right after using the PRECARE mode.

Memory function
The appliance records last

when the battery has ran

Notes
•In approximately 5 seconds after

the display window will light off automatically,
and the ion level/temperature settings are not
displayed.
(If the IONIC head comes in contact with the
skin, the indicator will light off even 5 seconds

Attach the

1Connect the adaptor.

Insert the appliance plug into the appliance
socket.
②Put the main body onto the stand.

Insert the adaptor into a household outlet.

2Disconnect the adaptor from the household
outlet, and unplug the appliance plug from the
main body.
(For safety and energy saving)
•Charging the battery for more than 1 hour
will not cause any damage to the main body.
How to check if charging is completed
Disconnect the appliance plug and then
connect it back.
→ If the charging is completed, the charging
indication/notication lamp lights on and then
off after approx. 5 seconds.
Notes
•The charging time may differ or the charging indication/notication lamp may not
glow for a few minutes, when the appliance is charged for the rst time, or if it has
not been used for more than 6 months. (It will eventually glow if kept connected.)
•Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 15 °C - 35 °C. It may take
longer to charge or the battery may fail to charge properly in extremely high or
low temperatures.
•If there is noise from the radio or other sources while using or charging the
appliance, move it to a different location for use.
•When the charging indication/notication lamp blinks once a second, the bat-
tery capacity is low. Please charge it.
•With a full charge, the appliance can be used approximately 3 times. (In the
case of the “Basic treatment (10 min)”, see page 16.) However, the usage
time may be reduced depending on the usage environment.
