Platypus Pool Steps
Handrail Re-Installation
Tools Required
-4mm Allen Key or Hex Driver bit
-10mm spanner
Step 1
Unwrap the Steps and handrails ready for re-installation.
Find the Bolts in the Goal Posts for the top bots and in the bag taped/cable tied to the goat post for
the base bolts.
Step 2
Lay steps on back as indicated below and identify by the coloured tape which handrail is for which
side.

Step 3
Slide handrail down Goal Post (on correct side) then align with the hole in the bottom Step. You may
need to wiggle around a little to get into the hole. Once through, keep moving both through
together. Handrail will need to slide over the grip tap that is at the bottom of the Goal Post to
minimise movement ongoing. Remove the tape on the handrails once installed.
Step 4
Install 1 x bolt (cup head) at top of handrails through Goal Posts and 4 x countersunk bolts into base
of handrails. Two will be from the front and two will be from the side. Tighten with 4mm Allen Key
(or Hex bit) and 10mm spanner.

Handrail Install now complete.
Adjustable Feet Install
Tools Required
-17mm spanner
Step 1
Loosen locked nut and remove foot from reverse position.
Step 2
Insert in correct direction and adjust in pool to correct position across the 4 feet to have steps level.
Once level and sitting comfortably, use the extra nut to lock the foot into the height position
required.
