warranty period is governed by the applicable provisions of law. Paso will repair the product

covered by this warranty free of charge if it is faulty, provided the defect has occurred during

DESCRIZIONE

Il microfono Paso opera con alimentazione phantom e fornisce un

segnale bilanciato in modo da consentire collegamenti a lunga distanza tra il

microfono stesso ed il sistema di amplificazione. Questo microfono è

caratterizzato da una riproduzione chiara della voce e trova pertanto

particolare applicazione come microfono da tavolo per conferenze, notiziari,

registrazioni e celebrazioni religiose. Due fori, posti alla base del corpo

microfonico, consentono l’installazione a parete, particolarmente indicata per

controlli di accessi e per sportelli al pubblico. Il diagramma polare di forma

emi-cardioide caratterizza la direttività del microfono che riproduce i suoni

provenienti dalla parte frontale, entro un angolo di 60° rispetto al piano

d’appoggio, e sopprime il rumore di sottofondo sopraggiungente all’esterno

della curva di direttività. La struttura metallica di massa elevata, sospesa su

appositi piedini in gomma, tende ad eliminare rumori o vibrazioni indotti sul

piano d’appoggio.

CONNESSIONI

É possibile collegare il microfono a tutti gli apparecchi Paso che siano

in grado di fornire l’alimentazione phantom. Operare quindi come segue:

1) Verificare che gli apparecchi siano spenti.

2) Collegare la presa volante (mini ) alla spina posta sul corpo

microfonico.

3) Collegare la spina tripolare all’ingresso microfonico bilanciato di un

mixer o di un amplificatore.

4) La presenza dell’alimentazione phantom è segnalata dall’accensione del led

al centro del corpo microfonico.

DESCRIPTION

The paso microphone operates with phantom power supply and uses

a balanced signal in order to enable long-distance connections between the

microphone and the amplifying system. This microphone is characterized by a

clear voice reproduction, is used as a table-top microphone for

conferences, newscasting, recordings and religious ceremonies. Two holes are

provided in the base of the microphone for wall mounting, which is particularly

suitable for access control applications and for counters for the public. The

hemi-cardioid polar diagram characterises the directivity of the microphone,

which reproduces sounds originating from the front end, within an angle of 60°

to the top on which it is placed, and suppresses background noise outside the

directivity curve.

The high-mass metal structure, suspended on special rubber feet, tends to

eliminate noise of vibrations induced on the surface on which it is resting.

NOTE D’USO

Per sfruttarne appieno le caratteristiche, posizionare il microfono su superfici

piane e stabili, quali tavoli o pavimenti. Nel caso di fissaggio a muro, è possibile

utilizzare i due fori posti alla base del microfono (vedi fig. 1); i fori sono protetti

da un’etichetta autoadesiva che deve essere rimossa o perforata solo nel caso

in cui tali fori vengano utilizzati. Evitare di porre il microfono in prossimità di

fonti di calore, sopra apparecchi di amplificazione od in ambienti con elevate

temperature e tassi d’umidità. Non esporre il microfono all’acqua.

CONNECTIONS MC102It is possible to connect the microphone to any Paso equipment

capable of providing a phantom power supply. Proceed as follows:

1) Make sure that the equipment is switched off.

2) Connect the cable ending in a socket (mini ) to the plug on the body

of the microphone.

3) Connect the three-pole socket to the balanced microphone input of a

mixer of amplifier.

4) A led, in middle of microphone body, confirms the presence of phantom

supply.

NOTES CONCERNING USE

To exploit the characteristics of the microphone, position it on a flat

and stable surface, such as a tabletop or the floor. If it is to be wall-mounted, it

is possible to use the two holes on the base of the microphone (see Figure 1).

The holes are protected by a self-adhesive label that should be either removed

or holed only if the holes are to be used. Do not position the microphone in the

vicinity of heat sources or on amplifying equipment and avoid exposure to

high temperatures and high levels of humidity. Avoid contact with water.

DESCRIPTION

Le microphone Paso utilise une alimentation de type Phantom et

fournit un signal équilibré afin d'assurer des connexions longue distance entre

le microphone et le système d'amplification. Ce microphone est caractérisé par

une reproduction claire de la voix et est particulièrement bien indiqué en tant

que microphone de bureau pour les conférences, les chroniques, les

enregistrements et les célébrations religieuses. Les deux trous présents à la

base du corps du microphone permettent de le fixer au mur, ce qui s'avère fort

utile dans le cadre du contrôle de l'accès des personnes ou bien pour les

guichets ouverts au public. La directivité de ce microphone est assurée par son

diagramme polaire de forme hémi-cardioïde qui reproduit les sons provenant

de la partie frontale, avec un angle maximum de 60° par rapport au plan

d'appui, et supprime le bruit de fond provenant de l'extérieur de la courbe de

directivité. La structure métallique de masse élevée, soutenue par un

piètement en caoutchouc, atténue les bruits ou vibrations induits par le plan

CONNEXIONS

Le microphone peut être relié à tous les appareils Paso qui sont en

mesure de fournir une alimentation Phantom. Procéder de la façon suivante:

1) Vérifier que les appareils soient éteints.

2) Brancher la prise volante (mini ) à la fiche présente sur le corps du

microphone.

3)Relier la fiche tripolaire à l'entrée microphonique équilibrée d'un

mélangeur de son ou d'un amplificateur.

4)La présence de l'alimentation Phantom est signalée par l'allumage de la DEL

au centre du corps du microphone.

CONSEILS D'UTILISATION

Pour exploiter pleinement les caractéristiques de ce microphone, le placer sur

des surfaces plates et stables, comme par exemple sur une table ou sur le sol.

Pour la fixation au mur, se servir des deux trous présents sur la base du

microphone (voir fig. 1). Les trous sont cachés par une étiquette autocollante

qui doit être enlevée ou perforée uniquement en cas de fixation murale. Éviter

de placer le microphone à proximité de sources de chaleur, sur des appareils

d'amplification ou bien dans des environnements présentant une température

et un taux d'humidité élevés. Ne pas exposer le microphone à l'eau.

Das Paso – Mikrofon funktioniert mit einer Phantom-Einspeisung und

liefert ein symmetrisches Signal, sodass eine Verbindung über große

Entfernungen zwischen den Mikrofonen und dem Verstärkersystem möglich

ist. Dieses Mikrofon zeichnet sich durch eine klare Sprachwiedergabe aus und

findet daher insbesondere Anwendung als Tischmikrofon bei Konferenzen,

Nachrichtendurchsagen, Tonaufzeichnungen und religiösen Veranstaltungen.

Über die beiden Öffnungen am Boden des Mikrofongehäuses kann die

Wandmontage der Geräte erfolgen, die sich insbesondere für

Zugangskontrollen oder Schalter in öffentlichen Gebäuden eignet. Das

Hemikardioid ist typisch für die Richtcharakteristik des Mikrofons, das die von

der Vorderseite kommenden Töne in einem Winkel von 60° zur Aufstellfläche

wiedergibt und Nebengeräusche unterdrückt, die im Verhältnis zur

Richtungskurve von Außen eintreffen. Das Metallgehäuse mit hoher Masse

steht auf entsprechenden Gummifüßchen und kann auf diese Weise

ANSCHLÜSSE

Das Mikrofon kann an alle Geräte Paso angeschlossen werden, die

eine Phantom-Speisung liefern können. Verfahren Sie daher wie folgt:

1) Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Geräte abgeschaltet sind.

2) Schließen Sie die fliegende Buchse (Mini- ) an den Stecker am

Mikrofongehäuse an.

3) Schließen Sie den dreipoligen Stecker an den symmetrischen

Mikrofoneingang eines Mixers oder eines Verstärkers an.

4) Das Vorhandensein einer Phantom-Speisung wird durch das Aufleuchten

der Led in der Mitte des Mikrofongehäuses angezeigt.

HINWEISE FÜR DEN GEBRAUCH

Stellen Sie das Mikrofon zur vollen Nutzung der Geräteeigenschaften auf

ebene und stabile Oberflächen, wie Tische oder Fußböden. Für die

Wandmontage können die beiden Öffnungen am Boden des Mikrofons (siehe

Abb. 1) verwendet werden; die Öffnungen sind mit einem Aufkleber

geschützt, der bei Verwendung der Öffnungen entfernt oder durchbohrt

werden muss. Stellen Sie das Mikrofon nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen,

auf Verstärker oder in Umgebungen mit hoher Temperatur und

Luftfeuchtigkeit auf. Schützen Sie das Mikrofon vor Wasser.

DESCRIPCIÓN

El micrófono Paso funciona con alimentación phantom y proporciona

una señal balanceada a fin de permitir conexiones de larga distancia entre el

propio micrófono y el sistema de amplificación. Este micrófono se distingue

por una reproducción clara de la voz por lo que se puede utilizar en particular

como micrófono de sobremesa para conferencias, noticiarios, grabaciones y

funciones religiosas. Dos agujeros, situados en la base del cuerpo del

micrófono, permiten la instalación en pared, particularmente indicada para el

control de accesos y para ventanillas abiertas al público. El diagrama polar con

forma hemi-cardioide caracteriza la directividad del micrófono que reproduce

los sonidos procedentes de la parte frontal, dentro de un ángulo de 60° con

respecto al plano de apoyo, y suprime el ruido de fondo que queda al exterior

de la curva de directividad. La estructura metálica de gran peso, suspendida

sobre idóneas patas de goma, tiende a eliminar ruidos o vibraciones inducidos

sobre la superficie de apoyo.

CONEXIONES

El micrófono se puede conectar con todos los aparatos Paso que

pueden proporcionar la alimentación phantom. Para la conexión se debe

actuar como sigue:

1) Comprobar que los aparatos estén apagados.

2) Conectar la toma volante (mini ) con la clavija situada en el cuerpo del

micrófono.

3) Conectar la clavija tripolar con la entrada microfónica balanceada de

un mezclador o de un amplificador.

4) La presencia de la alimentación phantom está señalada por el encendido del

LED en el centro del cuerpo del micrófono.

NOTAS DE USO

Para explotar plenamente sus características, colocar el micrófono sobre

superficies planas y estables, como pueden ser mesas o pavimentos. En el

caso de fijación en la pared, es posible utilizar los dos agujeros situados en la

base del micrófono (véase la Fig. 1); los agujeros están protegidos por una

etiqueta autoadhesiva que es necesario quitar o perforar sólo si se van a

utilizar dichos agujeros. Evitar poner el micrófono cerca de fuentes de calor,

encima de aparatos de amplificación o en lugares con altas temperaturas y alto

tenor de humedad. No exponer el micrófono al agua.

BESCHRIJVING

De Paso microfoon werkt op phantomvoeding en levert een

gebalanceerd signaal, zodat verbindingen op lange afstand tussen de

microfoon en het versterkingssysteem mogelijk zijn. Deze microfoon wordt

gekenmerkt door een duidelijke stemweergave en is daardoor met name

geschikt als tafelmicrofoon bij conferenties, berichtgevingen, opnamen en

religieuze vieringen. Twee gaten in de basis van de microfoonbehuizing maken

wandbevestiging van de microfoon mogelijk, met name geschikt voor het

beheer van toegangen en voor loketten. Het half-cardioïde polaire diagram is

bepalend voor de richtbaarheid van de microfoon, die frontaal opgevangen

geluiden onder een hoek van 60° ten opzichte van het steunvlak weergeeft en

achtergrondgeluiden buiten de richtcurve onderdrukt. De metalen structuur

met hoge massa op speciale rubberen voetjes vangt de via het steunvlak

afkomstige geluiden of trillingen op.

AANSLUITINGEN

De microfoon kan op alle Paso apparaten, die een phantomvoeding

leveren, aangesloten worden. Handel daarbij als volgt:

1) Controleer of de apparaten uitgeschakeld zijn.

2) Sluit de losse bus (mini ) aan op de stekker op de microfoonbehuizing.

3) Sluit de driepolige stekker aan op de gebalanceerde microfooningang

van een mixer of een versterker.

4) De aanwezigheid van de phantomvoeding wordt gesignaleerd door de led

midden op de microfoonbehuizing, die gaat branden.

OPMERKINGEN OVER HET GEBRUIK

Plaats de microfoon, om de eigenschappen van dit apparaat zo goed mogelijke

te benutten op vlakke, stabiele oppervlakken, zoals tafels of vloeren. Bij

wandbevestiging kan gebruik worden gemaakt van de twee gaten op de basis

van de microfoon (afb. 1); de gaten worden door een sticker afgeschermd, die

alleen bij gebruik van die gaten verwijderd of geperforeerd mag worden.

Plaats de microfoon nooit in de buurt van warmtebronnen, boven

versterkingsapparaten of in zeer warme en vochtige omgevingen. Zorg dat de

microfoon nooit nat kan worden.
