Warnings and Safety Instructions
-Do not use when the temperature is below +40°F (+4.5°C), or above +105°F (+40.5°C).
-Always read the safety and handling requirements of the chosen disinfectant and enforce
best practices, including wearing personal protective equipment if required.
-Never discharge liquid onto other people or sensitive equipment.
-Keep the device clean to ensure proper operation and reliability.
-Always keep the unit empty during transportation.
-Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before picking up
or carrying the appliance. Carrying the device with your finger on the switch invites
accidents.
-To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put the unit in water or other liquid. Do not
place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
-To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an appliance is used
near children.
-Do not use outdoors.
Electrical Warnings and Safety Instructions
-Do not operate the unit in a wet environment.
-To avoid electrical shock, never touch or insert any foreign objects into the tip of the unit while it is in use.
-Only recharge the battery with the supplied battery charger.
-Do not abuse the cord or charger.
Disinfectant Compliance
-Only use water-thin solutions in this unit.
-The unit must never be used to spray liquid onto open flames.
-Do not leave solution in the container for a prolonged period, such as overnight.
Always refer to the disinfectant’s manufacturer safety data sheet for its handling and storing.

Read and understand all instructions before using the machine.Failure to follow all
instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious personal injury.
- This unit contains an electrostatic device that may interfere with sensitive medical devices such as
pacemakers, defibrillators, or similar devices. Contact your health professional to verify that the
machine will not interfere with the normal operation of your medical device. Do not stand within 5
feet of such medical devices.
- This device can cause electrostatic shocks.
- This unit has been designed for one-handed use, do not touch the unit with your free hand.
- Users are required to read this User Manual to understand how to operate and maintain this unit
safely and correctly. It is the operator’s responsibility to ensure that any person who uses this
equipment has read this manual.
- When a combustible liquid is sprayed there can be danger of fire or explosion, especially in a closed
area.

Important Safety Instructions for Battery Packs and Chargers
The unit uses a 14.4 volt internal battery pack. The battery pack is not fully charged out of the box, read the
instructions below for proper operation.
-Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally
occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation or burns.
-Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a
risk of injury and fire.
-When the charger is plugged into a power source, 16 volts are present at charging terminals. Do not
probe with conductive objects.
-Do not use a unit or battery pack that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may
exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.
-Do not modify or attempt to repair the device except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
-Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or
temperature above 265°F (130°C) may cause explosion.
-Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the unit when the temperature is below +40°F
(+4.5°C), or above +105°F (+40.5°C). Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified
range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
Getting Started
For safety reasons, the unit is not shipped fully charged. It is recommended to fully charge it before using the
unit. To do so, plug the block side of the charger into a wall socket and the other side into the machine.
-Before using the unit, the tank must be filled. Follow the instruction on page 4 to remove the tank.
-Aim towards the surface you wish to spray. Grip the handle firmly with all four fingers and press
the button with your thumb to activate the unit. When finished, let go of the button to turn off
the unit.
-It is important to keep moving when using the unit. Standing still will cause electrostatically
charged droplets to accumulate at the tip of the unit.

Tank Manipulation Procedure
The following procedure should be done a flat surface with sufficient space to operate.
-Your PAX-50 is shipped with the tank pre-installed. To remove it,
start by pulling the locking tab towards the front.
-While maintaining tension on the locking tab, slightly pull the tank
towards the bottom to free it. The use of a second hand is
recommended. You may now release the locking tab.
-You can now pull the tank forward to free it from its housing.
-Slowly slide the tank downwards until it is free from the tube. Be
careful not to slide it down at an angle as to not damage the
filter at
the tip of the tube.
-You can now fill the tank with the disinfectant of your choice. To
reinstall the tank, please follow these procedures in reverse while
making sure to follow the following instructions:
-Start by inserting the tube in the tank as to not damage the filter at
the tip.
-Slowly raise the tank while making sure the rear is inserted in its
housing.
-You can now raise the front of the tank, so it sits flush with the
locking tab.
-Pull the locking tab towards the front
-Raise the tank towards the top
-Release and push the locking tab towards the tank to ensure it is
properly secured.
-You can now use your Pax-50!

Chargers
The Pax-50 uses a dedicated charger. Be sure to read all safety instructions before using your charger.
Charging Procedure
1. Plug the charger into an appropriate outlet before connecting the unit. A green light on the charger will
turn on. A spark may be produced when first connecting the charger.
2. Connect the charger into the unit, make sure the unit sits on a safe surface in a safe area. The green light
on the charger will turn red indicating the charging cycle has begun.
3. The light on the charger will turn green once the charge is complete.
Battery Fuel Gauge
The unit is designed to display the battery capacity only when it is in operation. The table below indicates the
meaning of the lights.
Blinking red light when trying to
turn on the machine means it is
out of battery and needs to be
charged.
Solid blue lights while using the
unit indicates the capacity
remaining in the battery.
3 blue lights: Over 70%
2 blue lights: Between 40 – 70 %
1 blue light: Between 10 – 40 %
1 red light: Under 10%
When charging the unit, the
lights will be blinking. The red
light indicates that the unit is
connected to the charger.
3rd blue lights: Over 70% charge
2nd blue lights: 40 – 70% charge
1st blue light: 10 – 40% charge
1 red light: Under 10% charge
4 solid lights The unit is fully charged and
ready to be unplugged.
The charger and unit can be left plugged in without any negative effect on the battery. Weak batteries will
continue to function but should not be expected to last as long on a single charge. The charger will not charge a
faulty battery pack. In such an event, the unit will only blink a red light indefinitely. DO NOT charge the battery
pack in temperatures below +40°F (+4.5°C), or above +105°F (+40.5°C). the charger and battery pack may
become warm to the touch while charging. This is normal condition and does not indicate a problem.
