du tive harm. If you are familiar with the risks asso iated with the parti ular material being ut, review the material
safety data sheet and/or onsult your employer, the material manufa turer/supplier, governmental agen ies su h as
OSHA and NIOSH and other sour es of hazardous materials. California and some other authorities, for instan e, have pub-
lished lists of substan es known to ause an er, reprodu tive toxi ity, or other harmful effe ts. Control dust, mist and
fumes at the sour e where possible. In this regard use good work pra ti es and follow the re ommendations of the man-
ufa turer/supplier, OSHA/NIOSH, and o upational and trade asso iations. When the hazards from inhalation of dust,
mists and fumes annot be eliminated, the operator and any bystanders should always wear a respirator approved by
OSHA/MSHA for the material being ut.

1. If grinder has a small
throat, use bushing so
shroud fits tightly.
2. Open qui k release lat h.
Press shroud on grinder.
NOTE: If using a cup
heel ith a 5/8"-11
nut skip to Step #8.
3. Small shim is for use with
grinders that have a small
shoulder.
4. S rew up adapter nut on
grinder arbor shaft.
5. If ne essary, pla e large
washer(s) on up adapter
nut, so up wheel extends
1/16" to 1/8" beyond
shroud.
6. Pla e up wheel on up
adapter nut.
7. S rew hex nut onto up nut
assembly.
8. Close qui k release lat h so
shroud is firmly atta hed to
grinder. Ensure up wheel
does not onta t shroud and
extends 1/-16" - 1/8" below
shroud.
9. Atta h hose adapter.
Shroud is now ready to be
atta hed to va uum.
