Easy installation
•Set up the modular wireless
station
•Connect the 24 V power
supply
•Simply replace or expand
with I/O extension modules
during the operation
Easy addressing
•Set the RAD ID on the wireless
module by turning the
thumbwheel (RAD ID 01=
master, RAD ID 02-99 =
repeater/slave)
•Each network device is assigned
a different RAD ID address
•Press the “SET” button on the
wireless module for 1s to accept
the current configuration
Easy distribution
•I/O Mapping makes assignment
of I/O signals possible in the
system by simply turning the
thumbwheel
•Input and output modules are
assigned the same I/O MAP
address

Installation
•Install the PSI-CONF software
•During the installation you will
invited to install the USB driver
•Connect the RAD-2400-IFS
module to your computer via
the USB cable
•Start PSI-CONF
•Select the RAD-2400-IFS device
Setup wizard
•
Create a new project and follow
the instructions of the wizard
for network configuration
•Select the network type (point-
to-point/star or line/mesh)
•Enter the number of network
devices (0-250)
•Select the desired application
(I/O-to-I/O, serial-to-serial or
PLC/Modbus RTU)

•Set the desired data rate of the
wireless interface (dependent
on the transmission distance)
•You obtain an overview of all
network/device parameters
•After configuration you can
transfer the settings to the
individual devices and save the
project
