The instructions given in this manual are intended to provide a clear, simple guide to using your vehicle; this booklet also details routine maintenance
procedures and regular checks that should be carried out on the vehicle at an authorised Dealer or Service Centre. The booklet also contains
instructions for simple repairs. Any operations not specifically described in this booklet require the use of special tools and/or particular technical

Alarms
If a failure is found, the display shows, in the bottom part, a different icon according
to the cause.
It is necessary to go to an Authorised Service Centre as soon as possible.
SERVICE ALARM
In case of failure found in the instrument panel or in the electronic control unit, the
instrument panel signals the failure by displaying the SERVICE icon and the red gen-
eral warning light comes on.

URGENT SERVICE ALARM
A serious failure is signalled by a fast flashing (two flashes per second) of the general
warning light and by the URGENT and SERVICE messages alternately being shown
on the digital display. It is necessary to go to an Authorised Service Centre as soon
as possible.

ECU DISCONNECTION ALARM
In case no connection is detected, the disconnection icon is displayed on the instru-
ment panel and the red general warning light turns on to signal this condition.

TEMPERATURE ALARM
When the external temperature is less than or equal to 3° C (37° F) the ice warning
symbol appears on the LCD display.

TURN INDICATOR MALFUNCTION (IF AVAILABLE)
When the instrument panel detects a failing turn indicator, the turn indicator warning
light flashes twice as fast and the problem is signalled on the digital display.

PERFORMANCE DETERIORATION ALARM
This alarm type can be identified by the ignition of the thermometer warning light.
Indicates a performance deterioration of the vehicle. The causes of this alarm are to
be found in:
- Powertrain temperature too high.
- Temperature of the traction battery either too high or too low.
- Recognition rear wheel slippage or accelerated; this can happen if accelerating on
the centre stand.

Every time the «MODE» button is quickly pressed, there is a change of environment:
•ODO
•TRIP X
•TIME X
•CHARGE CONSUMPTION
•MENU
In the status ODO 1 (Trip 1), with a long press of the «MODE» button, it goes to status
ODO 2 (Trip 2).

In the ODO 2 (Trip 2) status, long pressing the «MODE» button switches to ODO 1
(Trip 1) status.
In Trip 1, Time 1, Trip 2, Time 2 status, long pressing the «MODE» button resets all
quantities of the Trip Computer active in that environment.
In status ODO 1, Trip 1, Time 1, Charge Consumption 1 is turned on the icon «1» on
the LCD.
In ODO 2, Trip 2, Time 2, Charge Consumption 2 status the icon «2» on the LCD is
turned on.
Upon ignition of the vehicle, the user interface returns to the function which was left
at shut-down.

Setting the hour/minutes function (01_17, 01_18, 01_19, 01_20,
01_21)
Press the MODE button and enter the «MENU»section.
The menu enables the configuration of the instrument panel. To ensure that the pro-
gramming interface is not activated while riding, if it detects a speed different from
zero, the display automatically switches to show the vehicle operating mode.
Within the settings there are the following functions:
1. EXIT
2. TIME SETTINGS
3. BACK LIGHTING
4. °C/°F
5. 12H/24H
6. KM/MILES
7. BUZZER
SETTING THE HOURS/MINUTES
In this mode the clock value is set. The main display shows «Clock adjustment».
When you enter this mode, the minutes of the clock disappear and only the hours
remain. For each quick press of the MODE button the hour value is increased, until
12/23isreached,at which point thehourreturnsto 0. A longpressofthe MODE button
stores the value set and passes to the minutes setting. When you enter this mode, the
hours of the clock disappear and only the minutes remain. For each quick press of the
MODE button the minutes value is increased, until the value 59 is reached, at which
point after the next quick press of the MODE button it returns to 0. A long press of the
MODE button stores the set value and exits from the clock setting mode.

BACK LIGHTING
Thisfeatureenables the adjustment ofthe intensity of theback lighting on threelevels.
Every time the MODE button is quickly pressed, the following icons are shown: At the
end of the operation, with a long press of the MODE button, the data storage of the
selected level of the intensity of the back lighting and the instrument panel is shown
in the SETTINGS menu.

This menu selects the unit of measurement of ambient temperature.

BUZZER
Thismenu selects the management mode of the buzzer by the vehicle control system.
This menu must only be displayed if the setting within the SETTING BUZZER diag-
nostic menu is set to YES.

This menu selects the unit of measurement, whether for the speed or for the total and
partial trip counters.

Key switch (01_22)
LOCK = Ignition disabled, extractable key, steering lock engaged front glove-box
locked.
OFF = Ignition disabled, extractable key, steering lock disengaged, front glove-box
unlocked.
ON = Ready to start position, steering lock disabled, non-extractable key, glove-box
unlocked.

Locking the steering wheel
Turn the handlebar to the left (as far as it will go), turn the key to «LOCK» and remove
the key.
CAUTION
DO NOT TURN THE KEY TO «LOCK» OR «KEY OFF» WHILE RIDING.
Releasing the steering wheel
Reinsert the key and turn it to «OFF».

DO NOT TURN THE KEY TO «LOCK» OR «KEY OFF» WHILE RIDING.

Switch direction indicators (01_23)
(IF AVAILABLE)
To set the left turn indicators flashing, move lever «N» to the left; to set the right turn
indicators flashing, move it to the right. The lever automatically returns to the central
positionandtheindicatorsremainon.Toturntheindicatorsoff,pressthelevertowards
the switch.
