Cleaning and care:
The cyclone vacuum cleaner functions without
requiring a dust bag. Instead the dirt, dust and
particles are sucked up and channelled into
the dust container by the force of the air jet.
The air is cleaned by a washable permanent
filter (HEPA filter) in the dust container, motor
protection filter and an exhaust air filter.
Caution! Never vacuum clean without a filter
or with a damaged filter. Dust that is sucked
into the unit could force its way into the
device and damage the motor.
Emptying Dust Container:
Thanks to the transparent dust container it is
easy to see the fill level of the appliance and
whether it should be emptied.
1. Switch off the vacuum cleaner and
disconnect the plug from the mains.
Always pull on the plug, never pull on the
cable.
2. Pull the container, together with the
cleaning system, out of their anchoring
with the aid of the carrier handle on the
dust container. Then lift out the dust
container and carry it to the waste bin.
It is best to empty the container near to
where your dust receptacle is situated.
3. A push button is located on the dust
container that you can use to open and
empty it.
4. To do this, hold the dust container over
your dustbin and press on the button.
This will release the stopper. When the
dust container is full, it is a good idea to
pull a plastic bag over it and to empty it
into this bag. This helps to prevent the
spilling of dust.
5. After emptying it clean the HEPA filter
again if necessary (see also Cleaning the
HEPA filter below). After this rinse out
the dust container and wipe it dry.
6. After this push the HEPA filter cleaning
system back into position in the cyclone
vacuum cleaner until it snaps into place.
Your cyclone vacuum cleaner is now
ready for use again.
Cleaning the exhaust air filter or
HEPA filter:
The exhaust air filter or HEPA filter cleans the
air a final time before it leaves the vacuum
cleaner. You can clean the exhaust air filter or
HEPA filter as follows:
1. Switch off the vacuum cleaner and
disconnect the plug from the mains.
Always pull on the plug, never pull on the
cable.
2. Open the exhaust air grill.
3. The exhaust air filter or HEPA filter is
visible when the grill has been opened.
4. Rinse the filter or HEPA filter under cold
running water and allow dry.
5. Put the exhaust air filter or HEPA filter
back into place (or replace with a new
one)
6. Close the exhaust air filter grill.
Storage:
• When the appliance is not in use, store in
a safe, dry place, out of reach of children.
• DO NOT store the vacuum in direct
sunlight.
Note:
Keep the brushes free of fibres, hairs, and
other objects that could impede proper
functioning. Always remove the fibres
or other objects when the brushes pick
them up.

Problem Possible Soluon
Vacuum will not work. The vacuum may have run out of charge.

your vacuum overheats, the thermostat will
automatically turn the suction motor off.
Should this occur, allow it to cool for 1 hour,
then empty the dust container and clean all of
the filters.
Vacuum will not pick-up or suction power is
weak.
The dust container may be full, or the filters
may require cleaning.
Empty the dust container and clean the filters.
Check to make sure the Brush roller is clear of
fibres.
Dust is escaping from the vacuum. The filter may not be installed correctly, or
the dust container may be full. Empty the dust
container and reassemble the filter system
