6 Assembly
A small amount of assembly is required when you receive your steam mop.
•First, remove all the components from the packaging.
•Connect the handle by placing it over the top of the telescopic tube (upper
end) and then slide down until it clips into place. You may need to push
the spring pin (on the telescopic tube) inward a little to allow the handle to
slide over. Ensure the pin locates in the hole in the side of the handle
when pushed down. Ref fig 1-A
•Insert the lower end (smaller diameter) of Telescopic Tube into the yoke
on top of the Mop Head. When inserting, make sure the spring pin (on
the telescopic tube) faces towards the back side of the yoke as illustrated
Ref fig 1-B.
Push the Telescopic Tube down into the yoke until the spring pin snaps
into the small hole in the back side of the yoke Ref fig 1-C. The
Telescopic Tube should now be secured to the MOP Head.
NOTE: In order to coax the spring pin in to the hole, it may be necessary
to rotate and adjust the Telescopic Tube until it aligns properly with the
hole.

Page 7of 15
•To adjust the length of the Telescopic Tube, press the Extension Lock
downward. Whilst holding the lock down, move the upper section of the
tube up or down to your desired length then release the Lock Button.
Move the upper section of tube again until it “clicks” securely in to place.
Ref fig 1-D
•To disconnect the Telescopic Tube from the Mop Head, swivel the lower
Cord Hook 180º upward, then press firmly on the spring pin while
simultaneously pulling the tube out of the Mop Head yoke. Ref fig 1-E.
7 Microfibre Pad
•To fit the Microfibre Pad, lay one Microfibre Pad on a flat surface, with the
fastener strips facing upward.
Lift the steam mop up and position centrally over the Microfibre Pad and
then lower down. Ref fig 2-A
•To remove, use your foot to press down on the Microfibre Pad release tab
while simultaneously pulling the Mop Head up off the pad.
CAUTION: Use care when handling a recently used Microfibre Pad, as it
may still be hot.
NOTE: Microfibre Pads are machine washable. Refer to “Maintenance”
section for Cleaning Instructions
Note: Ensure the Microfibre Pad is fitted before use.

Page 8of 15
8 Operation
Note: Ensure the Microfibre Pad is fitted before use.
8.1 Adding Water
•Make sure the ON/OFF Switch is set to the “off’
position (Red Power Indicator Light will not be
illuminated) and ensure the power cord is
unplugged from the wall socket.
•Carefully remove the Water Tank / Boiler Cap by
unscrewing it in a counter-clockwise direction
Refer Fig 3-A
NOTE: If the Water Tank / Boiler was not
emptied completely after last use, empty all
remaining water now to prevent overfilling. To do
this, tip the Mop upside down over the sink and
allow the water to drain out of the filling hole.
Only Do this when the Mop and water is cold
and the power cord is unplugged.
•Fill the included Measuring Cup with 250ml of
clean cold water, and then pour it into the Water
Tank / Boiler through the Water Tank / Boiler Fill
Hole Refer Fig 3-B
NOTE: In order to minimise potential mineral
build-up and prolong the life of your Steam Mop,
it is recommended that distilled or de-
mineralised water be used in the Water Tank /
Boiler.
If distilled water is not available, then the Water
Tank / Boiler should be cleaned frequently in
order to remove mineral build-up. Refer to
Mineral Build-Up section for details.
DO NOT Overfill the Water Tank / Boiler. Only use a maximum of 250ml at
any time.
•Replace the Water Tank / Boiler Cap by screwing it into the Water Tank /
Boiler Fill Hole in a clockwise direction until tight Refer Fig 3-B
•The Steam Mop is now ready to begin steaming.

Page 9of 15
8.2 Refilling
If the unit has been in use, always take the following safety precaution
before removing the Water Tank / Boiler cap and adding any water:
•Allow the unit to cool for 5 -10 minutes. This will reduce heat and pressure
inside the Water Tank / Boiler, helping to prevent escaping steam when the
Water Tank / Boiler Cap is removed as well as vaporisation when more
water is added.
•Once this is done, follow the “Adding Water” procedure.
WARNING: Failure to follow this precaution may result in burns from
escaping steam when the Water Tank / Boiler cap is removed or when
water is poured into the Water Tank / Boiler
8.3 Steam Mopping
Before operating, make sure the Microfibre Pad is properly attached and
the Water Tank / Boiler is filled with water. (Max 250ml)
1. Plug the power cord into a convenient electrical outlet.
2. Place the Resting Pad on the floor, with the textured side facing upward.
Rest the Mop Head on top of the pad, in order to help protect floor
surface from excess heat and moisture during heat-up period.
3. Using your foot, gently press down on the On/Off Switch on the back of
the Mop Head until it clicks. The Red Power Indicator Light will illuminate
to show that the unit is receiving power. At the same time, the Green
Heating Indicator Light will illuminate to show that Boiler is heating.
4. After approximately 3 minutes of heating time, the unit will begin emitting
steam.
5. Remove the unit from the Resting Pad, and begin mopping.
6. Refer to the list in section “Recommended Floor Surfaces” for a listing of
floor surfaces that are recommended for cleaning with your Steam Mop.

7. For best results, mop using a steady back-and-forth motion over the floor,
working your way backwards in order to avoid walking over the freshly
mopped area.
IMPORTANT: To avoid warping or damage caused by heat and moisture,
do not use on unsealed hardwood or unglazed ceramic surfaces. Steam
may remove the sheen from some floors that have been treated with wax.
Never allow your Steam Mop to rest idle on floor surfaces while still On –
prolonged exposure to steam in a single area may discolour or damage
some floors. If it becomes necessary to stop mopping at any time, always
turn the unit off and place back on the Resting Pad.
8. Once all the water has been used, the Green Heating Indicator Light will
turn off to show that the Water Tank / Boiler is empty. If you wish to
continue mopping, first turn off by pressing down gently on the On/Off
Switch until it clicks, then unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
Refer to “Refilling” procedure before attempting to refill the Water Tank /
Boiler. Do Not refill whilst the unit is hot.
9. The Microfiber Pad will absorb dirt and moisture during mopping.
However, when you are finished you may find some residual moisture has
been left behind. In this case, it is recommended to allow the floor time to
air-dry. A fan may be directed towards the mopped area to facilitate
drying.
10. Once your mopping tasks are completed, place the unit back on the
Resting Pad and turn it off by pressing down gently on On/Off Switch until
it clicked. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet, then refer to the
“Storage” procedure for proper storage and care of your Steam Mop.
CAUTION: Take care when around the Steam Mop as the steam and
surfaces are very hot and may cause injury.
DO NOT direct the steam towards persons, animals or other electrical
products.

9 Recommended Floor Surfaces
This product can be used for cleaning floor surfaces such as sealed
wooden floors, ceramic tiles, granite and marble flooring, including some
types of carpet. If you are unsure, test a section of the flooring material in
an out-of-sight area first.
NOTE: This steam mop should not be used on surfaces with soft or heat
sensitive coatings like wax, enamels or oils, etc.
IMPORTANT: Do not use on unsealed hardwood or unglazed ceramic
surfaces.
Surfaces that are not properly sealed may be warped or damaged by
exposure to heat and moisture.
Care should also be taken when steaming sealed hardwood floors, as
prolonged exposure to steam in single spot may cause damage and
discoloration.
To avoid this, keep the Steam Mop in constant motion on these surfaces,
and place it back on the Resting pad when idle.
Extremely rough textured floors may tear or damage the Microfibre pads.
10 Storage
Preparing your Steam Mop for storage is quick and simple. When you have
finished your mopping tasks, follow the steps listed below.
1. Gently press down on the On/Off Switch until it clicks – The Red Power
indicator Light will turn off. Unplug the power cord from electrical power
outlet.
2. Place the Mop Head on top of the Resting pad, and allow the unit to
cool for at least 30 minutes for complete cooling.
3. For convenience you may disconnect the Telescopic Tube, and if
attached, remove the Microfibre Pad from the Mop Head.

If the pad is dirty you may wash it, Refer to section “Maintenance” for
cleaning instructions.
4. Unscrew and remove the Water Tank / Boiler Cap. Drain any water
remaining in Water Tank / Boiler into a sink or tub, to minimise potential
mineral build-up and prevent overfilling during next use. Replace the
Water Tank / Boiler Cap (do not fully tighten).
5. Reconnect the Telescopic Tube if removed previously. If desired,
collapse the Telescopic Tube to its shortest length (ideal for limited
storage space). Refer to section “Assembly” for instruction.
6. The power cord can be stored away by winding around the two Cord
Storage Hooks.
7. Store your Steam Mop in a Cool, dry location, along with all the included
accessories.
11 Maintenance
WARNING: The appliance must be switched off and the plug must be
removed from the power point before any maintenance, cleaning or replacing
the Microfibre Pads.
11.1 Mineral Build-Up
A common maintenance need for steam appliances is removal of build-up
caused by high mineral contact in many municipal water supplies. This
mineral build-up limits the effectiveness and reduces the life of your Steam
Mop.
The best way to minimise mineral build-up is to use distilled or de-
mineralised water when using your Steam Mop. In addition, it is
recommended that the Water Tank / Boiler be cleaned at least once a
month in order to remove any deposits that form. This will help to extend
the life of your Steam Mop and keep it functioning at its maximum potential.
To remove mineral build-up:
1. Gently press down the On/Off Switch until it clicks – The Red Power
Indicator Light will turn off. Unplug the power cord from the electrical
power outlet.
IMPORTANT: The Unit must remain off and unplugged during the cleaning
procedure.

2. Place the Mop Head on top of the Resting pad, and allow the unit to
cool for at least 30 minutes for complete cooling.
3. For convenience it is recommended to disconnect the Telescopic Tube,
and if attached, remove the Microfibre Pad from the Mop Head.
Removing these during the cleaning process will make cleaning easier.
4. Remove the Water Tank / Boiler Cap and drain any water remaining in
Water Tank / Boiler into a sink or tub as described previously.
5. Fill the Measuring Cup with white vinegar. (250ml)
6. Pour the vinegar into the Water Tank / Boiler through the Water tank /
Boiler Fill Hole.
7. Allow the vinegar to soak in the Water Tank / Boiler for 30 - 40 minutes.
8. Drain the vinegar from the Water Tank / Boiler into a sink or tub.
9. Refill the Water Tank / Boiler with fresh clean water, swill around, drain
and repeat until the vinegar odour dissipates.
10. Replace the Water Tank / Boiler Cap (do not fully tighten), reconnect the
Telescopic Tube and store your Steam Mop as mentioned in the
“Storage” section.
Note: Never fill the Water Tank / Boiler with any chemicals, cleaners,
solvents or the like.
11.2 Cleaning the Microfibre Pads
The Microfibre Pads must be cleaned regularly for best cleaning
performance.
Simply wash the Microfibre Pads in warm mild soapy water, rinse in clean
fresh cold water and let air dry.
The Microfibre Pads may be washed in a washing machine on a Normal
Wash. Wash separately to other items.
To avoid picking up lint, wash separately from other fabric is recommended.
Only use liquid detergent. Avoid using any fabric softeners or bleach.
DO NOT Scrub, Tumble Dry or Iron the Microfibre Pads

11.3 Cleaning the Steam Mop
Do not clean the Steam Mop, components or accessories with petrol or
any other flammable liquids, solvents, etc.
Use only a moist cloth and mild detergent for cleaning the outside of the
Steam Mop.
After cleaning, wipe off the moisture with a dry cloth.
Do Not place in water or liquid to clean.
