Foreword
PNI C50 battery charger is compatible with 6V and 12V lead-acid, AGM,
Gel, Ca-Ca batteries with a recommended capacity of 10Ah-120Ah.
Warnings
• Before using the charger, check the integrity of the connection cables
along their entire length.
• Never charge a defective battery.
• Do not use sources that may generate sparks near the battery.
• When the battery has reached the end of its life, do not throw it away at
random, but in places specially created for battery recycling.
• If the battery acid comes in contact with your skin or eyes, rinse
immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
• Prevent children from accessing the charger or battery.
Charging lead acid batteries outside the car
1. Connect the red pliers to the positive pole of the battery (+) and the black
pliers to the negative pole of the battery (-).
2. Plug the charger’s power cord into a 230V power source.
Note: when you want to disconnect the battery, first unplug the charger and
afterwards unplug the pliers.
Charging car-mounted lead-acid batteries
1. Connect the red pliers to the positive pole of the battery (+) and the black
pliers to the car chassis, away from the fuel lines.
2. Plug the charger’s power cord into a 230V power source.
Note: when you want to disconnect the battery, first unplug the charger,
remove the black pliers and afterwards remove the red plier from the battery
terminals.
