Polar Electro M600 Installation guide

How do I start using my M600?
The Polar M600 sports watch works with smartphones running Android 4.3+ or iOS 8.2+, and
that's why the first time setup of your M600 needs to be done with a compatible mobile device.
Android phone users need to make sure that the Google Play services and Google Search apps on
your phone are up to date.
You'll need your phone's Bluetooth to be turned on, and your phone needs to be connected to the
Internet. The setup process includes pairing your M600 with the Android Wear mobile app and
activating the Polar app on your smartwatch.

My M600 won't start, what can I do?
If your M600 won't turn on, it's probably because the battery is empty.
Plug the M600 into a charger. You'll know the battery is charging if you see an icon of a filling
battery appearing on the screen of your M600 for a short while after you plug it into the charger.
After you've charged the battery, press and hold the side power button until you see the Polar
logo on the screen.
If your M600 still doesn't turn on, contact your local customer service for repair.
Why can't I open the Polar app on my M600?
You can't use the training and activity features of the Polar app on your M600 before you've
activated the app.
If you press the front button or tap the Polar app in the apps menu to open it and see a card
telling you to "Get started. Swipe left to get Polar Flow app on your mobile." (on Android
phones) or "Get started. Get Polar Flow app on your mobile from the App Store" (on iPhones) it
means you haven't completed the setup process and activated the Polar app on your M600.
To activate the Polar app on your M600
Go through the following steps on your phone while keeping the M600 close by:
1. Download and install the Polar Flow app to your phone, or if you already have the app on your
phone, make sure it's the latest version.

2. Open the app. iPhone users: You need to press the front button of your M600 to open the Polar
app on the smartwatch while you have the Polar Flow app open on your phone. Then tap Start
on your phone.
3. Choose whether you'll wear the smartwatch on your left or right wrist, and tap Continue. iPhone
users: tap Save and sync.
4. Sign in with your Polar account, or create a new one.
5. You'll see "Setup completed" when you've succesfully activated the Polar app on your M600.
You can now start to use the Polar app features on your M600.
Why doesn't the M600 recognize my voice for
voice actions/search?
You have to have an active Internet connection on your phone and the M600 needs to be
connected to your phone for the voice actions/search to work. Some voice actions and voice
searches are not available in every language. See the Android Wear Help site to find out the up-
to-date listing of language availability for voice actions and voice search.
If your phone language is not supported on the M600, you need to use the phone language for
voice search, but voice actions work only when your phone and smartwatch use the same
language.
If the voice actions are not working on your watch, you can try:
Turning Bluetooth off and back on in your phone's settings.
Restarting the M600.
Updating the Google Play services*, Google Search*, and Android Wear apps on your
phone.

If none of the tips above work, try unpairing and resetting the M600. You can check further

Why are the wrist gestures not working on
my M600?
If you can't navigate your M600 with wrist gestures, make sure you've allowed their use in the
M600:
In the Settings menu on the M600, tap Gestures, and make sure the Wrist gestures are
ON.

If you can't wake the screen of your M600 by lifting your wrist, make sure you've allowed this in
the Android Wear app:
In the Android Wear app's Settings on your phone, check that the Tilt to wake (screen)
is on. Android phone users: You can find the setting under the Polar M600's Device
settings.
Also, the device should sit snugly on your wrist for the watch to sense your wrist's movements.
