ROUND FABRIC CASSETTE INSTALLATION GUIDE

INSTALLATION
REQUIRED TOOLS AND HARDWARE
Determine the correct window for the shade to be installed and whether the shade was ordered
to be inside or outside mounted. Please also consider the control side of the shade. You can
reference the packaging of the shade or you can refer to your order on the PowerShades Portal for
this information.
STEP 1

Before installing the Round Fabric Cassette roller shade, Please have measurements
from your order handy. Your shade will come labeled with the room name and shade
name on the outside of the box to help you correctly identify the shade.

Shade > 60”W = 3 Brackets.Shade > 90”W = 4 Brackets. Shade > 120”W = 5 Brackets.

INSIDE MOUNT
OUTSIDE MOUNT
At least 1/8” from the
back window glass
Screw the mounting brackets onto the left and right side above the window, centered to
measurements.
STEP 2
Attach the cassette to the mounting brackets.
Rest the groove on the top of the cassette
to the top lip of the bracket.
Pivot the back end of the cassette up and
lift until it clicks into the backside of the
bracket.
STEP 3
Mount and screw the end mounting brackets at a max of 2” from the left and right side of the
window jamb. Ensure there is at least an 1/8” space between the back of the bracket and the
window glass. If additional mounting brackets are needed, evenly distribute across the top
inside window jamb even with the 2 end mounting brackets.
INSIDE MOUNT
Mount and screw brackets above the window jamb centered to measurements. Max of 2” from
edge of cassette. If additional mounting brackets are needed, evenly distribute across the top
above the window even with the 2 end mounting brackets.
OUTSIDE MOUNT

Connection wires will come out of the back of the cassette. Make sure brackets clear all
wiring obstructions before mounting.
