Steel Commode
The ProBasics Three-in-One Steel Commode
has three versatile functions; it can beused as
a toilet safety frame, a commode, and a raised
toilet seat. It features a removable back and
comes complete with commode bucket, splash
guard and lid. The versatile design includes
an elongated deeper seat, armrests for added

Remove the three-in-one commode components from all
packaging including tape, cardboard and plastic. Check
all parts for damage before use. If any parts are missing or
damaged, DO NOT attempt to use the commode. If you
do not understand the manual, contact your dealer for a
complete explanation of the instructions, cautions and
warnings. Otherwise injury may result.
NOTE: DO NOT use excessive force when installing any parts.
SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove frame, seat, lid, pail, cover and splash shield from
carton. Allow the seat and lid to reach room temperature
if exposed to cold. This will help prevent the seat and
lid clamps from cracking while being assembled onto
commode back frame rail.
2. Align the toilet seat clamps onto the back-frame rail (both
clamps should sit outside the pail brackets). Push down on

ADJUST COMMODE HEIGHT
1. Depress the height adjustment button and slide the lower
leg upward or downward until the height adjustment

in-One Commode. Our commodes have a versatile design
that can be used as a bedside commode, raised toilet seat or
toilet safety frame. Please be sure to read these instructions
and warnings thoroughly and follow the instructions of your
your safety.

TO USE COMMODE OVER TOILET
(AS A RAISED TOILET SEAT OR TOILET SAFETY FRAME)
1. Set commode to desired height (see “Adjust Commode
Height” section).
2. Position splash guard in place onto pail supports.
3. Remove back support by simply unscrewing the wing nut
assembly on either side.
4. Lift toilet bowl seat and place commode over toilet with
splash shield positioned over the center of the toilet bowl.
5. Lower the commode seat onto the frame before use.
6. Clean seat and splash shield with disinfectant after
each use.
TO USE AS A BEDSIDE COMMODE
1. Set commode to desired height (see “Adjust Commode
Height” section).
2. Push commode pail onto pail supports. Ensure that pail is
properly positioned below commode opening. Commode
is now ready for use.

through the same respective hole of each leg extension. This
will ensure the leg extensions are locked in position and an
even height is achieved.
