BASIC OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR
FOLD-UP, RIDGE-FOLD AND RADIUS-FOLD GYM DIVIDER CURTAINS
Electric Gym Divider Curtains are operated from a momentary secure control usually located on the wall closest to the motor
side of the divider. Key switch or controls should be in full view of both sides of curtain during operation. Divider Curtains cannot be
operated without the key or other secure method.
When operating the Gym Divider Curtain, be sure to adhere to the following procedures or you run the risk of damage to the
curtain assembly:
1. After verifying that all persons in the gymnasium are a safe distance away, turn and hold key in a counter-clockwise direction to
lower the curtain.
2. After the curtain has been fully lowered and just prior to folding the curtain back up, verify the following:
A. Verify that no components of the curtain assembly have been damaged in anyway. If any damage is evident,
do not operate the curtain and contact your dealer or sales representative to arrange immediate repair.
B. Verify that all persons in the gymnasium are a safe distance away.
3. After carefully checking and complying with the items in step 2 above, turn the key in a clockwise direction to raise the curtain.
The following safety precautions should also be taken:
A. ONLY staff persons thoroughly trained and qualified in the operation of the curtain should operate the Divider Curtain.
B. NEVER leave the key in the switch or in an unsecured location accessible to unauthorized operators.
C. Do not attempt to climb curtains at any time.
D. Do not interfere in any way with the operation of the curtain as it is folding up or down.
E. If satisfactory performance of the curtain operation cannot be obtained by following the steps above,
contact your dealer or sales representative for immediate assistance.
