BATTERYCHARGINGINSTRUCTION
Thisunit operates on abuilt-inLi-ion batterythat canbe recharged either usingthe USB port on
your computer or fromaUSB power adaptor (notincluded) witharated outputofDC 5V 500mA
and up(upto1.2A).
Note:The mini USBCHARGINGJACKlocatedon thisunitisonlydesigned forcharging the
built-in Li-ion battery.
CHARGINGTHEBATTERYFORFIRSTTIME
1.)Charge the built-inLi-ion batteryaminimumof2hours prior tofirstuse.
Plug the unitintothe USB porton your computer or intoaUSB power adaptor (notincluded)
using theincluded USB cable.
2.)The batterycharging indicator flashes while charging and itstopsflashing when the unitis
fully charged.
Unplug the USB cable fromthe power sourceoncethebattery is fullycharged.
RECHARGINGTHEINTERNALBATTERY
After prolonged use, the internal batterywill becomeweakandtheoperationmaybecome
intermittent.When theinternalbattery capacity isvery low, the battery Indicator will rapidly flash
in red to alert you torecharge theinternal battery assoonaspossible.
Plug the speakerintoaUSB portonyour computer by usingthe included USBcable orintoa
DC 5V,500mAand up (upto1.2A).USB power adaptor (notincluded).Disconnectthe USB
cable fromthe speaker assoonasitis fullycharged.
Notes:
1. Charging timewill vary ifyou are listening tomusic while charging the internal battery. We
recommend you switchoff the speaker power during the charging process.
2. Toprolong the lifeofarechargeable battery,itisrecommended tocompletelydischarge it
before fully charging itagain .
3. Rechargeable batteriesneed tobe cycled for maximum performanceand longer batterylife.
If youdon't usethe playerthat often,besure torechargethebattery at least onceamonthin
order tokeep theinternal battery working properly.

Followthe manufacturer's instructions for charging the product anddo notcharge longer than

Note:The speaker isnot magnetically shielded and maycausecolor distortionon the screen of
someTVsor video monitors. Toavoid this,youmayneed tomovetheunitfurther awayfrom
the TV or monitor ifan unnatural color shifts orimage distortion occurs.
TURNTHESPEAKER POWER ON/OFF
1. Slide the Power ON/OFF selector onthe bottomof the unit toONposition (where the orange
round markontheselectorcannotbeen seen),avoiceprompt “Poweron” andabeep
sound isheard in2-3seconds. Meanwhile,the Operating modeindicator will flash in blue.
2. Toturn the unit off, slide the Power ON/OFF switchtoOFF
position (where theorange round mark ontheselector can
been seen).

OPERATINGTHESPEAKERINBLUETOOTH MODE
Bluetoothinvolves atechnology for wirelessradio connection ofdevicesover ashort distance.
DeviceswithBluetooth standard aretransmitting between 2.402and 2.480 GHz in the ISM
band (Industrial,Scientificand Medical).Interference canbe caused, forexample by
WLAN-networks,DAB radios, cordless phones, ormicrowaveovens whichwork on the
samefrequency band.
lThis speaker offersyou the possibilitytouseaBluetooth enabled device.The functional
radius islimited toapprox.10 metres depending on thesurroundingsand the unitused.
lIfyour playing devicesupportsthe A2DPprofile (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and
hasa music-playerfunction, then youcanalsowirelesslytransfer musictothedevice.The
A2DPprofile involvesamulti-vendor Bluetoothprofile.By streaming,stereo-audio signals
are wirelesslytransferred between the playingdevice(source) and the receiving device.
lDue tothe differentdevicemanufacturers, models, and software versions, afull functionality
cannot beguaranteed.
Pairing (Linking) A Bluetooth Enabled CellPhoneOr OtherBluetoothEnabledDevice To
TheSpeaker
If the speaker hasnever been paired withaBluetoothdevicebefore .You need tofollowthe
pairing instructionsbelowtolinkthe speaker withyour Bluetoothdevice.
1. When the speaker turned on,the Operating mode Indicator flashes in blue.The speaker is
ready topair (link)withyour Bluetoothdevice.
2. ActivateBluetoothonthe compatible device,and set ittosearchfor compatible devices.
3. Select the speaker name:”1308” fromthe listoffound devices.
Tips: Onlyone playback unitcan beconnected tothe speaker.Ifthespeakerisalready
connectedto another playbackunit, thespeaker will notappear in the BTselection list.
4. Ifyour deviceasks for apasskey(depending on the devicemanufacturers,model,and
software version), then enter digits “0000”(four zeros)and pressOK.
Ifpairinghasbeencarriedoutsuccessfully, avoiceprompt “Pairing completed” and abeep
sound isheard, meanwhile, theBlue colorindicator stopsflashing.
If thespeaker has everbeenpairedwithaBluetooth device before.You needtofollow
thepairinginstructionsbelowtolinkthespeaker with yourBluetoothdevice .
1. After turning on the speaker,the speaker will searchfor the lastpaired device.The
operating modeindicator will flashin blue. If the unit findsthe paired Bluetoothdevice,a
beep sound isheard and operating modeindicator will keep in blue andstop flashing .
2. After successfullypairing(linking), youcanbeginplayingmusic from your Bluetoothdevice
wirelesslytothe speaker .
3. Press the + / - buttonon the speaker toadjusttothe desiredvolumelevel .
Using The Speaker asaHandfree Bluetooth Speakerphone
1. Link yourcell phonetothe speaker via Bluetoothas described above.
2. Whenreceiving an incoming call on your cell phone ,tap button onthespeakerto
switchtheincoming callfromcellphone tothe speaker.Ashortbeepsoundwill be heard
confirming the callwasanswered.Completeyour call using the built-in microphoneand
speaker.
3. Adjust the volumecontrol of your cell phone to obtainthedesired sound level.
4. Toend the call,justtapthe button again, a shortbeep sound will be heardand thecall
will end. Ifyouwere playing music from yourcellphonetothe speakerbefore answering the
call,the musicwill automatically resumeplaying when youhang up .

5. Toignore an incoming call,simplypressand hold the buttonon the speaker for about 2
seconds, abeep sound will beheard and the call will be ignored .
OPERATINGTHESPEAKERIN TF-CARDMODE
uInsert theTF card carefully tothe speaker toaccess TF card mode,the operating mode
indicatorwill bechangedtoPurple color.The TF card will startplayingautomatically infew
seconds.
uPress button topauseor resumeplayback.
u-Press and hold the “+” or“-”button toraiseup/lower the volumelevel.
uShort Press “+”buttontoskip tonext track or press“-”button tothe previoustrack.
uToremoveyour TF card,simply pause the playback andgentlyunplug itfromthe slot.
Remember toturn off the speaker,too.
OPERATINGTHESPEAKERINAUX-IN MODE
If youare using aniPod,MP3/MP4player orother mobile phone whichcannot connect this unit
via bluetooth directly,you canstill playiton the speaker via an audioconnecting cable.
1. Plug one end ofthe 3.5mm audio cable(excluded) intotheheadphone or lineoutjackon
your player, plug the other end of cable intotheunit AUX-INjack of the speaker.
2. Turn on the external audio sourceand playyourdevice.
3. Slide the Power ON/OFF switchtoONposition toturn on the unit, the operating mode
indicator will lightup inRed.
4. The volumelevel can nowbecontrolledthrough the mainunit.Operateall otherfunctions
on the external deviceas usual.
Notes:
1).Ifyou're connected tothe Line outJackof yourexternal device,then you onlyneedtoadjust
the volumecontrolofthis speaker.Ifyou'reconnected totheHeadphone Jack of yourexternal
device,then youmayneedtoadjustboththevolumecontrolofyourexternal deviceandthe
volumecontrol ofthisunittofind the mostdesirable volumesetting.
2) Slide the Power ON/OFF selector toOFF position toturn off the unit when you finish
listening.
Don't forgettoswitchoff thepower ofyour external deviceas well.
3) DuringAUXmode, ifyou plug TF card intothe unit, theplaymode will automaticallychange
to TFCard playbackmode.
