10. Now, plug dispenser into the power supply using a GFCI outlet.
11. Install drip tray and cover.
12. Prime water system. Place a cup under the dispenser faucet. To dispense hot water, depress the child safety lock
(located below the left hot faucet handle) simultaneously until water flows continuously. Next, depress the right cold
faucet handle to make sure there is continuous flow of water.
NOTE: It may take up to 1 minute to prime the hot tank, and up to 3 minutes to prime the cold tank.
13. Dispense water.
CLEANING AND SANITIZING
WARNING: Always unplug dispenser before cleaning.
IMPORTANT: It is recommended that the dispenser be cleaned two times a year.
CLEANING OUTSIDE OF DISPENSER
Wipe dispenser body, bottle receptacle, tank and faucets with a cloth and warm, soapy water. Then rinse by wiping down
with clean water before drying.
CLEANING DRIP TRAY AND GRILL
The dispenser drip tray is not self-draining and should be cleaned regularly. To reduce water spotting, the tray should be
emptied, cleaned with mild soap or placed on top rack of dishwasher and wiped dry.
CLEANING AND SANITIZING RESERVOIR
1. Before cleaning, place switch located on rear of dispenser to the off position and unplug unit.
2. Let dispenser stand for one hour before cleaning to allow hot tank to cool.
3. Remove drip tray assembly and set aside for cleaning.
4. Empty water bottle (if applicable) and then remove it from the dispenser.
5. Drain cold water reservoir by dispensing water through the cold water faucet.
6. Drain hot tank by unscrewing drain cap
and removing red silicone plug at rear of
the dispenser. Drain water into a bucket or
container (approx. 0.5 gallon). Reinstall red
silicone plug and drain cap.
7. Press cover lock and pull up on cover latch
to open.
8. Thoroughly clean reservoir with a mild
chlorine sanitizing solution. To make the
sanitizing solution, simply add 1/8
teaspoon of ordinary 6.0% maximum
unscented household bleach to a 2-quart
pitcher filled with tap or bottled water.
Do not add concentrated bleach to the
dispenser as this could damage the unit.
