systems currently available on the market.

Introduction to the main functions of the reverse osmosis system
RO-membrane 600 GPD:
0,0001 µm effective filtration of bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, pesticides, insecticides,
residues, and other harmful substances
PC-C composite filter:
Pre-filter: 5 µm PP filter for filtering fine sediments such as sand, rust, etc. and a carbon
block to reduce the chlorine content.
Post filter: The activated carbon block neutralizes the taste of the water and keeps it fresh.
High pressure switch (HPT):
The booster pump switches off
automatically when the pressure is
reached.
TDS meter (input):
Measures the output TDS value of the
pure water and informs you of the
measured value in the app.
Booster pump 600 GPD:
Increases the pressure in the
membrane housing to overcome the
osmotic pressure.

Installation instructions

•If the device or its components are damaged, please contact the supplier or a specialist. We are not

2. Use of quick-change adapters

attach the blue safety clip.

3. Installation of the water supply
Installation of the mechanical leak sensor
The leak sensor, which is also included in the scope of delivery, is installed in the cold-water supply on the
floor of the reverse osmosis system and contains a shut-off valve. As soon as the sensor lying on the floor, in
the form of a swelling tablet, meets liquid, the device closes immediately and interrupts the water supply to
the system and avoids serious water damage.
In this way, it offers protection against material fatigue, possible assembly errors or unpredictable pressure
waves in the tap water network.
Make absolutely sure that the water stop is on the dry bottom of the system and is attached there
Remove the transport plugs from the connections of your reverse osmosis system by pressing in the blue
release buttons and at the same time pulling out the sealing plug.

First connect the 3/8" tube of the inlet water to the water leak sensor and lead another 3/8" piece of tube
from the outlet of the water leak sensor to the inlet of your reserve osmosis system.
Use the tablet only after the installation has been completed and when the system is leakproof after the test
run.
After the tablet has been inserted, close the flap. Water can only be supplied when the flap is closed.
Do not eat the tablet and store the tablets in a dry place and out of the reach of children!

Installation of the water supply
3.1 Shut off the water supply.
3.2 Release the flex tube of your faucet in the cold water and
screw the 3-way inlet valve to the water pipe.
3.3 Ensure a correct fit of the washers.
3.4 Take the 3/8“ tube and carefully cut it to the desired length with the cutting knife. Make sure that you
do not squeeze the end of the hose when cutting. This can lead to leaks.
4. Installation of the faucet
4.1 Mark the place where you want to mount your osmosis
faucet.
4.2 Use a drilling machine to drill a 12 mm diameter hole through
the sink or worktop.
4.3 Guide the base and the white rubber seal over the threaded
rod and place the fitting in the hole in the worktop or sink.
4.4 Guide the black washer onto the threaded rod and secure the
fitting by hand-tightening the wing screw.
4.5 Push the tube adapter onto the tube connector to the end and
pull it out a little to secure it.
4.6 Finally, insert the ¼“ tube into the tube adapter and secure
with the blue safety clips.

5. Installation wastewater
6.1 Drill a 6 mm hole above
the siphon bend.
6.2 Mount the supplied drain clamp with
the seal on the hole and tighten the screws
with a screwdriver.
6.3 Insert the wastewater
tube into the quick-
change adapter.
Initial start-up
Please make sure that the faucet of the reverse osmosis system is closed when the system is started up
for the first time, so that the system can perform an automatic flush after plugging in the power switch.
This ensures that any possible coal dust from the prefilters will be flushed out and does not reach the
membrane!
After the short automatic flush has been completed, we recommend that you use the "Flush / Reset"
button to carry out another flush before you open the tap.
Usage hint
To prevent microbial contamination on the membrane during storage and transport, the membrane was
coated with a light protective solution. Therefore, dispose of the first 50-100 liters of osmosis water and do
not use it as drinking water.
When you start to operate the device, the TDS value of the water may be slightly increased. After a short
runtime, this value drops again and stabilizes.
If the inlet pressure is greater than 4 bar, please install a separate pressure reducer in the inlet of your
reverse osmosis system.
Please note that the motor installed in the pump of your reverse osmosis system is not suitable for
continuous operation. For this reason, we recommend that you take a break of 15 minutes after an operating
time of 30 minutes.

Maintenance and Care
Regular use of your system prevents it from drying out and possible hygiene problems.
Do not use any aggressive substances to clean the PUR Connect 600 reverse osmosis system. This can
damage the outer housing.
If you are not going to use the device for a long time, please disconnect the water supply and the power plug
of your reverse osmosis system.
You should change the filter when you have reached the maximum service life or water volume.
The service life of six months based on DIN standard maintenance of drinking water systems DIN EN 806-5:
2012 must be complied with for reasons of hygiene.

In addition, you should consider changing early if the following situations arise:
▪Bad water quality (Taste changes, the TDS value of the water increases).
▪Noticeable reduction in production volume.
▪Pressure fluctuations, high indicated pressure (> 10 bar).

Filter change
To change the filter, first shut off the water supply.
Your PUR Connect 600 signals you as soon as a filter change is imminent. There are three colors on the
respective display PC-C and RO, which inform you of the following status:
blue
Your filters are intact and no filter needs to be changed.
orange
Your filters are 80% exhausted. You should replace your filters soon.
red
Your filters are exhausted and need to be replaced.
Step 1:
Open the housing cover of
your PUR Connect 600
reverse osmosis system to
access the filter element to
be changed.
Fold out the handles of the
filter.
Step 2:
Turn the cartridge
approx. 90 °
counterclockwise until
the lock symbol is
open.
Your filter cartridge is
now unlocked
Step 3:
Pull out the filter to be used
and place the new filter
cartridge.
Step 4:
Turn the cartridge
approx. 90 °
clockwise until the
lock symbol is
closed. Your filter
cartridge is now
locked.
Reset the filters
Press and hold the "Flush / Reset" button for three seconds to enter the reset mode.
Then press the "Reset / Flush" button again to select and reset the replaced filter - the
assigned LED flashes to confirm.
Now press the button: "Flush / Reset" again for three seconds to complete the process.
The replaced filter cartridges cannot be reused. Please dispose of all used filter cartridges exclusively in the
residual waste!
