Thank you for using pwmwave series intelligent battery charger. At present, the
series of products include B-21、B-52、C130、X37b. Please read this manual carefully
before use, so that you can better use the product.
◆ Special Features:
☆ Multi functional intelligent charger can realize multi-function for a variety of batteries:
Lithium polymer battery: balanced charge / balance port discharge / external discharge / recovery
discharge / storage / balanced charge / cycle charge and discharge;
NiCd / NiMH battery supply mode: automatic charge, manual charge, discharge, cycle charge and
discharge; lead acid battery supply mode: charge and discharge. With the discharge device of
PWMWAVE, the discharge function of 150W can be realized.
☆ High power, high current, high efficiency, high precision (current accuracy 0.001a, voltage
0.001V), the maximum charging current is 30A; the maximum recovery discharge current is 30A.
Provide external resistance discharge. Perfect power control method ensures system safety.
☆ A wide range of input voltage of 9-40v allows users to provide 12V power supply and 24V
power supply and a variety of battery power supply schemes. The maximum power is 750W
☆ With the function of software upgrade, users can upgrade the charger software through the
upgrade port of PC.
☆ A Help file is provided in each important function menu to explain the use method, so as to
avoid the trouble of finding the manual and asking for help. The purpose of pwmwave is to think

◆Attention:
☆ In order to ensure safety, charging and discharging must be carried out within the sight
range. If you need to leave, take out the battery to avoid unexpected danger.
☆ Make sure that the battery type and the string number of the battery pack are
selected correctly. If the selection is wrong, it may not only damage the battery,
but also cause danger (especially if the lithium battery cannot be overcharged,
the battery may cause fire).
☆ Do not mix batteries of different types, capacities and manufacturers.
☆ Do not modify or disassemble the charger.

◆ Boot interface:
1、The man-machine operation interface of the charger is the toggle button on the top right
corner of the charger. The key has the following operation modes:
There are four functions: dial up, dial down, middle short press, medium key long press.Short
press in the middle is to select the battery type or enter the last operation interface, and long
press in the middle is to stop the current function.
2、Boot interface:
A、If it is the first time to start, please set the input power type and parameters according to
the power specification of the input terminal connected by the user.
B、If the user has set the power input parameters, he can choose to continue and ignore the
settings.
C、Power settings are very important when starting. Please confirm carefully that for most
functions, improper power settings can cause the machine to burn down.
D、The middle part is the system temperature, and the large characters at the right end are:
output port voltage, current current current, charging and discharging capacity, and current
power, while the small character part is the input power supply voltage and current. The
contents below are battery voltage, total battery voltage, maximum voltage difference and
internal resistance.

◆Home page:
In the figure above are: charger status, time, temperature, output voltage, output current,
capacity, power.
The small font in the middle is input voltage and current.The following figure shows the voltage
of each battery, the sum of each battery voltage and the maximum and minimum voltage
difference.When you dial the key on the main interface, you can see the internal resistance
display. If you press the key again, the system will enter the battery selection interface.Dial the
key on the main interface to enter the system setting interface and auxiliary function interface.

The page provides options for four kinds of lithium batteries. Each lithium battery provides 2-4
parameter settings, which can be modified and saved. The settings for NIMH and Pb batteries can
be found on the next page. After selecting the battery through the up and down keys, press the
confirm key directly to enter the function interface of the battery. Two to four parameters are used
to save different battery settings.

This page lists six function options. It can be selected by pressing the key.

(5) Allow recovery discharges 【power,recycling mode set】
10、System setup instructions:
(1) In the fan settings, the starting temperature of the fan is generally about 5
degrees higher than that when the system is started, and the stopping
temperature of the fan is generally about 3 degrees higher than the room
temperature.
(2) It can still be turned on in OFF mode and controlled by temperature.On mode,
always on.

(1) To set the key tone, alarm sound and end tone

(3) Set the input power supply is battery or switching power,If POWER is switching
power,then set the power voltage and power.

(4) To set the”input” battery , if the battery is only used as power, LOW VOLTAGE
and MAX CURRENT output will be set. Others will not be set.
(5) To set the”input” battery , if the battery is used as “battey”for recycling
discharge , Maximum battery VOLTAGE 【be charged 】and discharge
CURRENT will be set. Others will not be set.

(6) Set ENGLISH or CHINESE language
(7) Set lithium battery TRICKLE charge time and current. Time is 1-5 min can be set
Current is 0.1-3A can be selected.

(8) Set the TIMER and Safe temperature.
11、Description of input power function setting:
(1) In the power mode, the current minimum voltage, maximum output current and maximum
output power of the input switching power supply are set. The second group displays
"reference the first group"
(2) In battery mode, there may be two ways to use it:
A、Only when the power supply is used, set the battery to not recycle, and set the safe
voltage of the battery falling at the input end and the maximum discharge current of the
battery.
B、When the battery is used as the recycling power supply, the maximum safe voltage of
the input battery to be charged and the discharge current value of the discharged battery
are set, that is, the current value of the recovered discharge.
C、When recycling the power supply, it is necessary to set the recovery discharge in the
discharge setting of lithium battery, and set the recovery enable at the same time to realize
the recycling discharge. In the above two modes, the setting parameters are automatically
selected, and it is not necessary to set the parameters, and the items are grayed out and
can not be set.
12、Description of system auxiliary function setting:
In power mode, the system can output constant voltage power supply, which can be
used as switching power supply. The voltage and current value need to be set at this place.
If the current value reaches the set value, the current will be limited preferentially. At the
same time, the third row can realize fine current setting and 0.001a precision regulation.
This function can be used as switching power supply and direct constant current charging.

Calibration function: the calibration function here is to calibrate the power supply or battery
voltage at the input and output terminals. The user can measure the voltage with his own
instrument, and then adjust the voltage displayed on the charger to be consistent with the
instrument display. After all the adjustments are completed, save and exit, and the displayed value
will be consistent with the measured value when starting up again.

During calibration, the channel voltage shall be calibrated first, and the data of channel
voltage and SV and Vout shall meet the requirements vout-sv >50mv, otherwise, an error will
be reported and the system will prompt recalibration. The current cannot be calibrated for the
time being.
13、User program upgrade :
Use the upgrade USB device attached with the machine to connect the computer and charger.
In the serial port upgrade program, select the port number of the serial port device added on the
computer, select the baud rate of 115200, data bit 8, stop bit 1; after the device is connected, start
the update function, and then press the dial button to wait for the data; open the bin file to be
upgraded in the serial port upgrade program, and then click send The display screen will display
the prompt of received data: "received data". After all downloading is completed, press the
confirm key. Upgrade complete.
