INSTRUCTIONS
The hand tool will be standard equipped with the M12 anvil and
M12 mandrel. The other components will be stored separate in the
carton box.
FIRST USE:
Make sure before using the tool that the anvil and mandrel are
suitable for the thread of the insert to be used. Otherwise change
to a dierent size.
CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT SIZE:
Unscrew the anvil (5) and the lock nut (6). Use the two spanners
in the carton box to unscrew the mandrel (4). Please note that the
mandrels have left-handed thread. To unscrew turn the mandrel
clockwise. Replace it by choosing the correct size from the spare
parts in the carton box and turn counter clockwise to fasten.

ANVIL ADJUSTMENT:
After changing to a dierent size at A, it is necessary to adjust
the anvil (5) and its counter lock nut (6). Put the tool in its
starting position by pushing the ratchet switch (8) to the left
and turn the back lever (2) counterclock wise until the stroke
indicator (7) is invisible. The tool body is now in starting
position. The protrusion of the mandrel out of the anvil must
be as long as the whole rivet nut. Unscrewing the counter lock
nut (6) to adjust the anvil (5) by turning left or right, to
increase or decrease the length. After the correct length is
applied, screw the counter lock nut until it is tight.

SETTING A THREADED INSERT:
Put the tool in start position by pushing the ratchet switch
(8) to the left and turn the back lever (2) counterclock wise
until the stroke indicator is invisible. Screw the insert on
(relate about 2 mm distance between front and back part of
the body) the threaded end of the mandrel and insert it into
the hole of the material. The hole size must be slightly larger
than the rivet nut, check the drill specications of the rivet
nut. Push the ratchet switch (8) to the right and open the
levers (2) for one third till you hear the ratching sound of the
mechanism, then close the levers completely. Repeat these
steps to clamp the rivet nut into the material tightly. The tool
body is now extended and the stroke indicator (7) visible for
checking the correct stroke. After the rivet nut is set, push the
ratchet switch (8) to the left and turn the back lever (2) one
time counter clockwise, this will release the threaded insert.
Unscrew the insert, by using the turning knob (3) on the back
of the tool.

EXTENDING THE LEVERS:
When working with (stainless) steel threaded inserts the
workingload of the tool can be lowered by extending the
levers. The extended levers creates a bigger power ratio and
makes it much lighter to clamp the stronger material threaded
inserts. Push the lever extension system (9) down to unlock
and slide the lever down till the right position. In case of a
small and narrow working area you can choose to extend only
the front or back lever.
Note: The levers can get stuck when too much force or
speed is applied during extension of the levers.

ANLEITUNG
Die Handnietzange wird standardmäßig mit dem Gewindedorn M12
und Mundstück M12 vormontiert geliefert. Weitere Wechselteile
sind im Karton.
ERSTE BENUTZUNG:
Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Gebrauch der Handnietzange dass
der richtige Umrüstsatz, entsprechend der Blindnietmutter,
montiert ist. Andernfalls wechseln Sie in eine andere Abmessung.
WECHSEL ZU EINER ANDEREN ABMESSUNG:
Lösen Sie die Kontermutter (6) und drehen Sie das Mundstück (5)
heraus. Verwenden Sie die beiden Schlüssel im Karton, um den
Gewindedorn (4) zu lösen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die
Gewindedorne ein Linksgewinde haben. Zum Lösen der
Gewindedorne im Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Wählen Sie den
benötigten Umrüstsatz und montieren Sie in umgekehrter
Reihenfolge den Gewindedorn und das Mundstück. Zum Befestigen
den Gewindedorn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn (Linksgewinde) drehen.

EINSTELLUNG DES MUNDSTÜCKS:
Nach der Hubeinstellung ist es wichtig das Mundstück (5)
einzustellen und mit der Kontermutter (6) zu sichern. Stellen
Sie das Werkzeug in seine Ausgangsposition, indem Sie
den Umschalter für die Drehrichtung (8) nach links drücken
und den hinteren Hebel (2) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen,
bis die Hubanzeige (7) nicht mehr sichtbar ist. Der
Werkzeugkörper bendet sich jetzt in der Startposition.
Die Blindnietmutter auf den Gewindedorn drehen bis
ein Gewindegang des Gewindedorns am Schaftende der
Blindnietmutter übersteht. Dann das Mundstück (5) bis zum
Anschlag gegen den Kopf der Blindnietmutter drehen. Mit der
Kontermutter (5) sichern. Diesen Vorgang bei jedem Wechsel
der Abmessung wiederholen.

SETZEN DER BLINDNIETMUTTER:
Setzen Sie das Werkzeug in die Startposition, indem Sie den
Umschalter für die Drehrichtung (8) nach links drücken und
den hinteren Hebel (2) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
drehen, bis die Hubanzeige nicht mehr sichtbar ist.
(Erstellen Sie einen Abstand von ca. 2 mm zwischen
dem vorderen und dem hinteren Teil des Körpers). Die
Blindnietmutter auf den Gewindedorn des Werkzeuges drehen
bis zum Anschlag an das Mundstück. Die aufgeschraubte
Blindnietmutter mit dem Werkzeug in das vorbereitete Loch,
entsprechend Vorgaben, stecken. Drücken Sie den Umschalter
für die Drehrichtung (8) nach rechts und önen Sie die
Hebel (2) zu einem Drittel, bis Sie das Klickgeräusch der
Mechanik hören. Schließen Sie dann die Hebel vollständig.
Wiederholen Sie diese Schritte bis die Blindnietmutter fest im
Material klemmt. Der Werkzeugkörper ist nun ausgefahren
und die Hubanzeige (7) zur Überprüfung des richtigen
Setzhubs sichtbar. Nach dem korrekten Setzen der
Blindnietmutter den Umschalter für die Drehrichtung (8) nach
links stellen und den hinteren Hebel (2) einmal gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um den Gewindedorn zu lösen.
Anschließend den Gewindedorn mittels des Drehknopfs (3)
herausdrehen. Prüfen Sie den festen Sitz der Blindnietmutter.

VERLÄNGERUNG DER HEBEL:
Um den Kraftaufwand beim Setzen der Blindnietmutter zu
reduzieren, oder das Arbeiten an schwer zugänglichen Stellen
zu ermöglichen, können Sie beide Hebel (2) in verschiedene
Positionen verlängern. Drücken Sie dazu das
Hebelverlängerungssystem (9) nach unten um es zu
entriegeln und schieben/ziehen Sie den Hebel in die
entsprechende Position.
Hinweis: Die Hebel können sich verklemmen, wenn
Sie zu viel Kraft oder Geschwindigkeit während des
Verstellvorganges der Hebel anwenden.
