Before riding, test the brake performance. Squeeze the brake
lever and try to roll the product, there should be resistance or
friction that makes the product harder to move.
Note: The brake lever has an internal switch that will cut
power to the motor when activated. If the brake lever is
depressed, the throttle will not activate.
If stopping distance is too long, or the brake is making poor
contact, the brake can be adjusted. See the maintenance
section on page 15 for details.
Avant de rouler, testez la performance des freins. Serrez le
levier de frein et essayez de faire rouler le produit. Il doit y
avoir une résistance ou une friction qui rend le produit plus
difficile à déplacer.
Remarque : Le levier de frein est doté d’un interrupteur interne
qui coupe l’alimentation du moteur lorsqu’il est activé. Si le
levier de frein est enfoncé, l’accélérateur ne sera pas activé.
Si la distance d’arrêt est trop longue ou si le frein a un
mauvais contact, le frein peut être réglé. Voir la section sur
l’entretien à la page 15 pour plus de détails.
