WSR-DMX INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
General
The Rako WSR-DMX module is designed o link be ween a Rako Wired sys em and a s andard DMX Ligh ing con roller.
Commands from he Rako Wired sys em are passed hrough he WSR-DMX o con rol he DMX Ligh ing.

WSR-DMX connec ors
The Whi e RJ12 cable mus be connec ed o a Rako Wired sys em. This connec ion provides power and da a o he
WSRDMX.
There are sui able connec ion poin s for he WSR-DMX on Rako Rak-Link and Rak-S ar uni s. Al erna ively he uni
can be plugged in o a connec ion poin on he ne work, ei her a WPCon or WPConC as shown in Fig.1.
If he WSR-DMX mus be remo ely moun ed away from any Rak-Links and Rak-S ars, hen a Rako WP-Con connec or
module can be used o provide a remo e connec ion poin for he WSR-DMX.

provided.

There is no formal s andard for he connec ion of he Da a + and Da a – lines for DMX. The mos commonly found
connec ion ype is suppor ed by having he header connec ors in he NORMAL posi ion. If his does no work hey can
be placed in he INVERTED posi ion, his reverses he Da a + and Da a – connec ions.
