1Place Toughbook on RAM® Tough-Dock™ front edge first.
Then use brass locating pins to align back edge.
2Pull latch forward until lock engages.
Turn lock clockwise to lock; counter-clockwise to release.
Power IN:
Indicates 12-28vdc is supplied to Toughbook. (RAM® Tough-Dock™draws 3 amps from a
13.8V source to power RAM® Tough-Dock™and Toughbook)
Power OUT:
Indicates 15.6vdc is available for Toughbook.
Docked:
Indicates Toughbook is docked with
RAM® Tough-Dock™ when Toughbook is powered on.
Switched ON:
Power is supplied to Toughbook and Port Replicator from external source.
Switched OFF:
If Toughbook is ON and docked, RAM® Tough-Book™will supply power to Port Replicator.

1Switch power switch to ON position.
Power In/Out LED's will not light and/or Toughbook not charge.
Video: VGA out D-sub 15 pin
Mouse: Mini-DIN 6 pin

Mic: Mono phone jack

2Make sure fuse is intact and properly seated.
3Make sure power cable is firmly attached
to power jack and external 12-28vdc.
4Remove fuse, and with voltmeter check
voltage across fuse terminals. If polarity is
reversed check all connections; reverse
power cable if necessary.
1Make sure latch is fully engaged.
Toughbook will not dock with RAM® Tough-Dock™.
2Remove Toughbook from RAM® Tough-Dock™ and make sure ribbon cable is fully seated; if loose
align ribbon cable and press firmly(see A). Use a blunt object to avoid damaging the ribbon cable.
