I. PRIOR TO THE FIRST USE
Carefully take out the appliance and its components from the box.
Remove all the packaging materials and promotional stickers.
Be sure to keep in place warning labels, index stickers (if any) and
a label with the serial number of the appliance on its body!
After the transportation or storage at low temperatures, it is
necessary to keep the appliance at the room temperature for at
least 2 hours before switching on.

8
Completely unwind the power cord. Wipe the housing with a
moist cloth. Rinse removable parts with warm soapy water and
dry thoroughly before connecting the appliance to an electrical
outlet.
I I. OPERATION
Assembly (scheme A2, p. 4)
1. Place the juicer base on a at, hard, horizontal surface. Make
sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains and the
speed switch is in position 0.
2. Place the waste container on the base.
3. Place the processing chamber on the base so that the edge of
the waste container is secured in the special tab of the
processing chamber.
4. Place the separator into the center of the processing chamber
on the drive shaft coupling. Press on the upper rim of the
separator from both sides so that it lowers onto the coupling
until it stops. Make sure the separator is secured to the shaft
evenly and rmly. Do not apply excessive force!
5. Place the lid with the food supply chamber on the processing
chamber. Install the juice pouring spout.
6. Raise the clamps, latch them onto the plastic tabs on the lid,
and snap them into place by applying slight pressure to their
bottom.
CAUTION! The lid clamps must be fully latched and tightly secured
to the tabs on the lid.
Operation
CAUTION! The recommended time for juicer continuous operation
at maximum speed when processing solid products should not
exceed 1 minute with a break of at least 3 minutes. The appliance
may only be operated fully assembled.
1.
Wash fruits and vegetables before juicing, cut into pieces the
largest ones that do not t into the food supply chamber.
When juicing plums, peaches and other fruits with large pits,
remove the pits rst to avoid damaging the separator. Remove
thick or tough skin from fruit (kiwi, mango, etc.) before juicing.
2. Place the juicer on a at, hard, horizontal surface. Make sure
that the juicer is properly assembled (see the “Assembly”
section), the appliance is unplugged, the speed selector is in
position 0, the food supply chamber is empty.
3. Place a container under the juice pouring spout.
4. Connect the juicer to the mains.
5.
Move the speed selector to position I. The motor starts
running. Use this speed setting for juicing berries, soft fruits
and vegetables.
6. To extract juice from hard fruits and vegetables, move the
speed selector to position II.
Do not turn the speed selector further than the limit positions to
avoid mechanical damage!
7.
Load prepared fruits and vegetables into the food supply
chamber. Use the plunger to push them through.
CAUTION! Load products into the juicer only while the motor is
running.

RJ-916
9
RUS
Do not use hands or foreign objects to push the products. Do not
put foreign objects into the food supply chamber.
Do not press too hard on the plunger. This may affect the quality
of the juice and lead to the separator malfunction or damage
components of the appliance.
8.
If the waste container becomes full during operation, it must
be emptied. To do this, turn off the appliance by moving the
speed selector to position 0 and disconnecting the appliance
from the mains. Follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and
Maintenance” Section.
9.
When you nish, turn off the juicer by moving the speed
selector to position 0 and unplug it from the mains.
To increase the appliance efciency, it is recommended to make
short breaks to clean the separator. Rinse the separator after
processing 1.5–2 kg of food. When processing berries (e.g. grapes,
currants, gooseberries), the separator becomes clogged faster than
usual. Pressing juice from these products may require more
frequent cleaning of the juicer and separator.
Soft apple varieties, as well as overripe apples, are not intended
for juice production. When pressing ones, a large amount of waste
is generated that clogs the tray of the processing chamber.
Disruption occurs while the juicer is running; pulp should be
cleaned from the processing chamber more often.
MANUFACTURER’S WARNING!
To improve the productivity and prolong service life it is
recommended:
•
To cut rm products, as carrots, beets, radish, apples, pears,
pineapple into 4–5 cm wedges;
• To gradually put the precut vegetables, fruit or berries into
the feed chute and slightly press;
•
Not to press the push bar too much to avoid quality
degradation of juice and the auger rotation stopping;
• To remove stones from fruit and berries to avoid auger and
lter breakage;
• To preliminarily defrost food.
CAUTION! This device IS NOT AIMED at squeezing the juice from
beans, nuts, fruit/vegetable stones, frozen foods!
Protection system
•
The appliance is equipped with activation protection against
incorrect assembly. If the separator bowl or the appliance lid
is not installed or installed incorrectly, the appliance will not
switch on.
• The appliance is equipped with a motor overheat protection
system. If the temperature is too high, power will be switched
off automatically. In this case, turn off the juicer by setting
the speed switch to position 0 and disconnecting the
appliance from the mains. The motor will have cooled down
after 20–30 minutes and you may continue using the
appliance, but with shorter periods of continuous use and
increasing the intervals between use.
III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The juicer must be cleaned after each use. See diagram A2, page
4 for disassembly procedure.

10
1.
Turn off the juicer. Make sure it is disconnected from the mains
and the speed switch is in position 0.
2. Pull the lower part of the clamps and remove them from the
lid. Remove the lid.

It is also not recommended to use any chemically aggressive or
other substances, not recommended for use with items which
contact with food.
Add some lemon juice to clean and shine metal parts.
5. Wipe the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth.
Storage and transportation
Before repeated operation or storage completely dry all parts of
the appliance. Store the assembled appliance in a dry, ventilated
place away from heating appliances and direct sunlight.
During transportation and storage, do not expose the device to
mechanical stress, that may lead to damage of the device and/or
violation of the package integrity.
Keep the device package away from water and other liquids.
